The combination of hyd.ogen/d.uterium(H/d.formald.hyd.-based.isotopic methyl labeling with solid.phase extraction and.high-performance liquid.chromatography–high resolution mass spectrometry(HPLC-HRMS)is a powerful analytical solution for nontargeted.analysis of trace-level amino-containing chemicals in water *** the huge amount of chemical information generated.in HPLC-HRMS analysis,id.ntifying all possible H/d.abeled.amino chemicals presents a significant challenge in d.ta *** ad.ress this,we d.signed.a streamlined.d.ta processing pipeline that can automatically extract H/d.labeled.amino chemicals from the raw HPLC-HRMS d.ta with high accuracy and.***,we d.veloped.a cross-correlation algorithm to correct the retention time shift resulting from d.uterium isotopic effects,which enables reliable pairing of H-and.d.labeled.***,we implemented.several bioinformatic solutions to remove false chemical features generated.by in-source fragmentation,salt ad.uction,and.natural13C ***,we used.a d.ta mining strategy to construct the AMINES library that consists of over 38,000 structure-d.sjointed.primary and.second.ry amines to facilitate putative compound.***,we integrated.these mod.les into a freely available R program,*** rationale of each mod.le was justified.and.its performance tested.using experimental H/d.labeled.chemical stand.rd. and.authentic water *** further d.monstrated.the application of Hd.airFind.r to effectively extract N-containing contaminants,thus enabling the monitoring of changes of primary and.second.ry N-compound. in authentic water *** is a reliable bioinformatic tool for rapid.processing of H/d.isotopic methyl labeling-based.nontargeted.analysis of water samples,and.will facilitate a better und.rstand.ng of N-containing chemical compound. in water.

Polyacrylamid.(PAAm)hyd.ogels with brush-covered.or crosslinked.surfaces were prod.ced.and.their tribological behavior was stud.ed.over a wid. range of slid.ng speed. for two d.fferent contact geometries:sphere-on-flat and.*** of the contact geometry,the brushy hyd.ogel surfaces d.splayed.up to an ord.r of magnitud. lower coefficients of frictionμ(COF)compared.to the crosslinked.surfaces,even achieving superlubricity(μd.ogel sphere showed.a lower coefficient of friction than a flat hyd.ogel pin at a similar contact pressure over the entire range of slid.ng ***,after normalizing the friction force by the contact area,the shear stress of hyd.ogels with either crosslinked.or brushy surfaces was found.to be similar for both contact geometries at low speed.,ind.cating that hyd.ogel friction is unaffected.by the contact geometry at these *** high slid.ng speed.,the shear stress was found.to be lower for a sphere-on-flat configuration compared.to a flat-pin-on-flat *** can be attributed.to the larger equivalent hyd.od.namic thickness d.e to the convergent inlet zone ahead.of the sphere-on-flat contact,which presumably enhances the water supply in the contact,promotes rehyd.ation,and.thus red.ces the friction at high slid.ng speed. compared.to that measured.for the flat-pin-on-flat contact.

Background.Hemod.alysis(Hd. per se is a risk factor for *** the growing bod. of evid.nce on blood.flow restriction(BFR) exercise in Hd.patients,id.ntification of possible risk factors related.to the prothrombotic agent d.d.mer is required.for the safety and.feasibility of this training *** aim of the present stud. was to id.ntify risk factors associated.with higher d.d.mer levels and.to d.termine the acute effect of resistance exercise(RE) with BFR on this ***:Two hund.ed.and.six Hd.patients volunteered.for this stud.(all with a glomerular filtration rate of d.of 50% arterial occlusion pressure d.ring 50 min sessions of Hd.intrad.alytic exercise).RE repetitions includ.d.concentric and.eccentric lifting phases(each lasting 2 s) and.were supervised.by a strength and.cond.tioning ***:Several variables were associated.with elevated.levels of d.d.mer,includ.ng higher blood.glucose,citrate use,recent card.ovascular events,recent intercurrents,higher inflammatory status,catheter as vascular access,old.r patients(>70 years old.,and.Hd.***,RE+BFR significantly increases d.d.mer after 4 *** with bord.rline baseline d.d.mer levels(400-490 ng/mL) d.splayed.increased.risk of elevating d.d.mer over the normal range(≥500 ng/mL).Conclusion:These results id.ntified.factors associated.with a heightened.prothrombotic state and.may assist in the screening process for Hd.patients who wish to und.rgo RE+BFR.d.d.mer and.or other fibrinolysis factors should.be assessed.at baseline and.throughout the protocol as a precautionary measure to maximize safety d.ring RE+BFR.

Only 42% of Ugand.’s population has access to electricity. The population continues to use firewood.and.charcoal as a source of energy, which lead. to d.pletion of forests thus to climate change. The purpose of this stud. was to assess the potential of biogas prod.ction from jackfruit waste, banana peels, and.pineapple peels when co-d.gested.with cow d.ng as an alternative energy source. Substrates for each waste were co-d.gested.with varying proportions (0%, 25%, and.50%) of cow d.ng using laboratory-scale 250 mL anaerobic d.gestors. The total biogas generation for jackfruit waste, banana peels, and.pineapple peels after 30 d.ys of anaerobic d.gestion was 82.3, 189, and.262 mL, respectively. When jack fruit waste, pineapple peels and.banana peels were co-d.gested.with 25% cow d.ng, the total amount of biogas prod.ced.increased.by a factor of two and.three, respectively. However, 50% of cow d.ng only significantly (p ≤ 0.05) improved.for jack fruit waste by two fold.. Therefore, the results ind.cated.that jackfruit waste, banana and.pineapple peels can be used.for biogas prod.ction to augment energy supply. .
