The expression of quantitative traits of a line of a crop depends on its genetics,the environment where it is sown and the interaction between the genetic information and the environment known as *** to maximize food production,new varieties are developed by selecting superior lines of seeds suitable for a specific *** selection is a computational technique for developing a new variety that uses whole genome molecular markers to identify top lines of a crop.A large number of statistical and machine learning models are employed for single environment trials,where it is assumed that the environment does not have any effect on the quantitative ***,it is essential to consider both genomic and environmental data to develop a new variety,as these strong assumptions may lead to failing to select top lines for an *** we devised three novel deep learning frameworks incorporating GxE within the deep learning model and predicted line-specific yield for an *** the process,we also developed a new technique for identifying environmentspecific markers that can be useful in many applications of environment-specific genomic *** result demonstrates that our best framework obtains 1.75 to 1.95 times better correlation coefficients than other deep learning models that incorporate environmental data depending on the test ***,the feature importance analysis shows that environmental information,followed by genomic information,is the driving factor in predicting environment-specific yield for a *** also demonstrate a way to extend our framework for new data types,such as text or soil *** extended model also shows the potential to be useful in genomic selection.

AIM:To investigate the clinical features and survival of patients treated for cholangiocarcinoma in our institution and to analyze the factors affecting their ***:This retrospective cohort study assessed patients diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma between January 1997 and December 2007 at the University Malaya Medical Centre in *** clinical data and associated outcomes were collected using a structured ***:Of the 69 patients diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma,38 (55%) were male;mean patient age was 61 *** patients (17%) had intrahepatic,38 (55%) had perihilar and 19 (28%) had distal *** 12 patients underwent curative surgery,including seven r0 *** one patient died within 30 d after *** overall median survival was 4 mo,whereas the median survival of r0 resected patients was 16 *** overall 1-,2-and 3-year cumulative survival rates were 67%,17% and 17%,*** rates were significantly associated with curative resection (P=0.002),intrahepatic tumor (P=0.003),negative margin status (P=0.013),early tumor stage (P=0.016),higher tumor differentiation (P=0.032) and absence of jaundice (P=0.038).Multivariate analysis showed that tumor location was a significant independent predictor of patient ***:Curative,margin-negative resection of early stage,well-differentiated intrahepatic tumors is associated with improved patient survival.

The effects of tidal currents(i.e., barotropic and internal tides) are important in the biogeochemistry of a coastal shelf sea. The high-frequency of currents and near-bottom temperatures collected in three consecutive southwest monsoon seasons(May, June, July and August of 2013 until 2015) is presented to reveal the role of the tidal currents to the temperature variability in the coastal shelf sea of the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia(ECPM),south of the South China Sea(SCS). The results of a spectral density and harmonic analysis demonstrate that the near-bottom temperature variability and the tidal currents are influenced by diurnal(O_1 and K_1) and semidiurnal(M_2) tidal currents. The spectral density of residual currents(detided data) at 5, 10 and 16 m depth also shows significant peaks at the diurnal tidal frequency(K_1) and small peaks at the semidiurnal tidal frequency(M_2)indicating the existence of internal tides. The result of the horizontal kinetic energy(HKE) shows a strong intermittent energy of internal tides in the ECPM with the strongest energy is found at 16 m depth during a sporadic cooling event in June and July. A high horizontal cross-shore heat flux(16 m) also indicates strong intrusions of cooler water into the ECPM in June and July. During the short duration of cold pulse water observed in June and July, a cross-wavelet analysis also reveals the strong relationship between the near-bottom temperatures and the internal tidal currents at the diurnal tidal frequency. The intrusion of this cooler water is probably related to the monsoon-induced upwelling in June. It is loosely interpreted that the interaction between the strong barotropic tides and the steep slope in the central basin of the SCS under the stratified condition in southwest monsoon has generated these internal tides. Carbon fiber yarns（CFY） are promising as a new type of flexible building blocks for the construction of flexible architectures for the energy storage applications. The main hurdle with CFY is how to make them high energy and power capable by using economically and environmentally viable materials. Here,we report reduced graphene oxide（r GO） and Prussian blue（PB） coated CFY, derived from a facile electrochemical process at room temperature for supercapacitor electrodes. The PB coated CFY and r GO coated CFY electrodes exhibit the excellent gravimetric capacitance of 339 F/g and 160.2 F/g, respectively, in aqueous KCl electrolyte in three-electrode cell configuration. When we coupled these electrodes inside the flexible plastic tube and separated by the electrolyte wet filter paper in order to construct flexible architecture, the resulting device delivers excellent specific energy of 52.1 Wh/kg and 26.5 Wh/kg with offering specific power of 3100 W/kg and 14400 W/kg respectively, under a wide operating potential of1.8 V with excellent rate capability. The device shows high tolerance towards bending, and retained its efficiency to the capacitance after being bent at an angle of 360° for 200 bending cycles.

The optimum rate and application timing of Nitrogen(N)fertilizer are crucial in achieving a high yield in rice cultivation;however,conventional laboratory testing of plant nutrients is time-consuming and *** develop a site-specific spatial variable rate application method to overcome the limitations of traditional techniques,especially in fields under a double-cropping system,this study focused on the relationship between Soil Plant Analysis Development(SPAD)chlorophyll meter readings and N content in leaves during different growth stages to introduce the most suitable stage for assessment of crop N and prediction of rice *** SPAD readings and leaf N content were measured on the uppermost fully expanded leaf at panicle formation and booting *** yield was also measured at the end of the *** analysis of variance,variogram,and kriging were calculated to determine the variability of attributes and their relationship,and finally,variability maps were *** linear relationships were observed between attributes,with the same trends in different sampling dates;however,accuracy of semivariance estimation reduces with the growth *** of the study also implied that there was a better relationship between rice leaf N content(r^2=0.93),as well as yield(r2=0.81),with SPAD readings at the panicle formation ***,the SPAD-based evaluation of N status and prediction of rice yield is more reliable on this stage rather than at the booting *** study proved that the application of SPAD chlorophyll meter paves the way for real-time paddy N management and grain yield *** can be reliably exploited in precision agriculture of paddy fields under double-cropping cultivation to understand and control spatial variations.

Shear stress distribution prediction in open channels is of utmost importance in hydraulic structural engineering as it directly affects the design of stable *** this study,at first,a series of experimental tests were conducted to assess the shear stress distribution in prismatic compound *** shear stress values around the whole wetted perimeter were measured in the compound channel with different floodplain widths also in different flow depths in subcritical and supercritical conditions.A set of,data mining and machine learning algorithms including random Forest(rF),M5P,random Committee,KStar and Additive regression implemented on attained data to predict the shear stress distribution in the compound *** indicated among these five models;rF method indicated the most precise results with the highest r2 value of ***,the most powerful data mining method which studied in this research compared with two well-known analytical models of Shiono and Knight method(SKM)and Shannon method to acquire the proposed model functioning in predicting the shear stress *** results showed that the rF model has the best prediction performance compared to SKM and Shannon models.

Background:recently,the Chinese scientists Liu et *** a crystallized form of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 main protease(M^(pro)),the best target of the drug,which was published in Nature in June *** components of herbs are determined as the potential inhibitors of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)M^(pro)such as quercetin,cirsimaritin,hispidulin,and ***:Library of herb-based bioactive saponins are analyzed with 6LU7 M^(pro)using AutoDock tools 1.5.6,BIOVIA Discovery Studio 2017 r2,Chimera 1.13.1,and AutoDock Vina to evaluate their potency against COVID-19 M^(pro).The conventional Western medicines,including hydroxychloroquine,chloroquine and nelfinavir,are used as positive controls for ***:Binding energies of 60 saponins with 6LU7 M^(pro)are obtained in which approximately 34 saponins are more effective on COVID-19 M^(pro)than hydroxychloroquine,chloroquine,and nelfinavir.13 saponins exhibit high potency against COVID-19 M^(pro)due to more binding energies than 10 kcal/***:Further research on all effective saponins is needed to evaluate the real medicinal potential against COVID-19.
