Geochemistry and mineral chemistry of the armoor granitoids,eastern dharwar craton: implications for the redox conditions and tectono-magmatic environment

The mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of the K-rich granites from the Armoor granitic rocks in the northeastern portion of the Eastern Dharwar Craton(EDC) are *** order to understand its physicochemical conditions,the petrogenesis of the granitoid was explained from biotite chemistry and geochemical *** of mineral chemistry expose that compositionally,K-feldspar and plagioclase in Armoor granite rocks range from An0,Ab_(3-5.9),Or_(94-96.9) and An_(5-29,-Ab71.9-94.9),Or_(0-1.5),*** mineral chemistry of biotite crystals exhibits composition that varies from primary to re-equilibrated primary *** biotites from the Armoor granites generally exhibit an I-type trend,with calc-alkaline parental magma in a subduction *** chemistry of granites displays magnetite(oxidized)series nature,which has oxygen fugacity(fO_(2))=-15.1 to-16.7(log_(10) bar),under high oxidizing *** and pressure estimates for the crystallization of Armoor granites based on biotite composition are T=612-716 ℃ and 1.0-0.4 kbar,***,these rocks are metaluminous to slightly peraluminous and magnesian,with calc-alkaline potassiumrich *** the ch.ndrite normalized REE diagram,the granites have positive europium anomalies;rich Sr/Y,(Dy/Yb)_(n) ratios and reduced Mg#,Rb/Sr,Rb,Sr indicate that the melting of earlier rocks,crystal accumulation and residual garnet source formed at high *** examined granites show that they are produced from the melting of crustal ***,the extensive analyses of the described Armoor granite suggest that they were produced by crust sources and developed under oxidizing conditions in subduction setting.

Thermodynamic model for deoxidation of liquid steel considering strong metal-oxygen interaction in the quasichemical model framework

Herein,a thermodynamic model aimed at describing deoxidation equilibria in liquid steel was *** model provides explicit forms of the activity coefficient of solutes in liquid steel,eliminating the need for the minimization of internal Gibbs energy preliminarily when solving deoxidation *** elimination of internal Gibbs energy minimization is particularly advantageous during the coupling of deoxidation equilibrium calculations with computationally intensive approaches,such as computational fluid *** model enables efficient calculations through direct embedment of the explicit forms of activity coefficient in the computing *** proposed thermodynamic model was developed using a quasichemical approach with two key approximations:random mixing of metallic elements(Fe and oxidizing metal) and strong nonrandom pairing of metal and oxygen as nearest *** these approximations,the quasichemical approach yielded the activity coefficients of solutes as explicit functions of composition and temperature without requiring the minimization of internal Gibbs energy or the coupling of separate *** model was successfully applied in the calculation of deoxidation equilibria of various elements(Al,B,C,Ca,Ce,Cr,La,Mg,Mn,nb,Si,Ti,V,and Zr).The limitations of the model arising from these assumptions were also discussed.

The nucleus integrates cytosolic and organellar signals to regulate gene expression during plant stress responses,and this process is highly dependent on shuttling of signaling molecules in and out of the *** nucleocytoplasmic transport of macromolecules is facilitated by nuclear transport receptors(nTRs).nTRs are broadly categorized into exportins,which mediate the export of cargo from the nucleus to the cytoplasm,and importins,which facilitate the import of cargo into the *** importin family comprises importin-α(IMPa)and importin-β(IMPp).IMPa proteins are adaptor proteins and composed of three functional domains:an n-terminal IMPβ-binding(IBB)domain,ten Armadillo(ARM)repeats responsible for recognizing and interacting with cargo,and an exportin-interacting domain crucial for recycling via nuclear export(Wing et al.,2022).During a nuclear transport event,*** cargo containing a classical nuclear localization signal(cnLS)through its ARM repeats and engages IMPβvia its IBB domain,forming the cargo-IMPa-IMPβternary ***βfacilitates translocation of this complex through the nuclear *** inside the nucleus,RanGTP competes with IMPa for binding to IMPβ,promoting disassembly of the transport complex and releaseofcargo.

Phosphine/Benzocyclone-based neutral nickel Catalysts for Ethylene Polymerization and Copolymerization with Polar Monomers

The efficient copolymerization of olefin with polar monomers using nickel-based catalysts presents a longstanding challenge. In this contribution, three phosphine-benzocyclone ligands and corresponding neutral nickel catalysts(ni1: Ar = Ph;ni2: Ar = 2-(C_(6)H_(5))C_(6)H_(4);ni3: Ar = 2-[2',6'-(Me O)_(2)-C_(6)H3]C_(6)H_(4)) were prepared and applied for the ethylene polymerization and copolymerization with polar monomers without any cocatalyst. The bulky substituent groups in complexes ni2 and ni3 contributed to high catalytic activities(up to 7.24×10^(6) and 9.04×10^(6)g·mol ni^(-1)·h^(-1), respectively), and produced high-molecular-weight polyethylene(Mw up to 545.7 k Da). Complex ni3 exhibited high activities for ethylene polymerization at the level of 10^(6) g·mol ni^(-1)·h^(-1) across a wide range from 30 ℃ to 120 ℃, exhibiting excellent high temperature tolerance. These nickel complexes were also effectively employed in the copolymerization of ethylene with methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate and lauryl acrylate, producing copolymers with high molecular weights(Mw up to 80.5 k Da) and high polar monomer incorporation(up to 8.2 mol%). Microstructure analyses revealed that the introduction of large sterically hindered substituents facilitated the incorporation of polar functional units into the polymer backbone. This study demonstrates the potential of these nickel-based catalysts for efficient copolymerization of olefin with polar monomers.

Circular RnAs(circRnAs)are a class of covalently closed single-stranded RnAs that are expressed during the development of specific cells and *** play crucial roles in physiological and pathological processes by sponging microRnAs,modulating gene transcription,controlling the activity of certain RnA-binding proteins,and producing functional peptides.A key focus of research at present is the functionality of circRnAs in the nervous system and several advances have emerged over the last 2 ***,the precise role of circRnAs in the nervous system has yet to be comprehensively *** this review,we first summarize the recently described roles of circRnAs in brain development,maturity,and ***,we focus on the involvement of circRnAs in various diseases of the central nervous system,such as brain cancer,chronic neurodegenerative diseases,acute injuries of the nervous system,and neuropathic pain.A better understanding of the functionality of circRnAs will help us to develop potential diagnostic,prognostic,and therapeutic strategies to treat diseases of the nervous system.

In this paper,we investigate the following p-Kirchhoff equation{∫R^(n)|u|^(2)dx=ρ,(a+b)∫Rn(|Δu}^(p)+|u|^(p))dx)(-Δpu+|u|^(p-2u)=|u|^(s-2)u+μu,x∈R^(n),where a>0,b≥0,p>0 are constants,constants,p*=n-P/np is the critical Sobolev exponent,μis a Lagrange multiplier,-Δpu=-div(|Δu|_(p-2)u),2n2p,μ∈R,and s∈(2n/n+2p-2,p*).We demonstratethat he p-Kirchhoff equation has a normalized solution using the mountain pass lemma and some analysis techniques.

Effect of a cervical collar on optic nerve sheath diameter in trauma patients

BACKGROUnD:As advocated in advanced trauma life support and prehospital trauma life support protocols,cervical immobilization is applied until cervical spine injury is *** study aimed to show the difference in optic nerve sheath diameter(OnSD)between patients with and without a cervical collar using computed tomography(CT).METHODS:This was a single-center,retrospective study examining trauma patients who presented to the emergency department between January 1,2021,and December 31,*** OnSD on brain CT of the trauma patients was measured and analyzed to determine whether there was a difference between the OnSD with and without the cervical ***:The study population consisted of 169 *** CT imaging of patients with(n=66)and without(n=103)cervical collars,the mean OnSD in the axial plane were 5.43±0.50 mm and 5.04±0.46 mm respectively for the right eye and 5.50±0.52 mm and 5.11±0.46 mm respectively for the left *** results revealed an association between the presence of a cervical collar and the mean OnSD,which was statistically significant(Pnd left ***:A cervical collar may be associated with increased *** effect of this increase in the OnSD on clinical outcomes needs to be investigated,and the actual need for cervical collar in the emergency department should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Two MADS-box proteins,AGL9 and AGL15,recruit the FIS-PRC2 complex to trigger the phase transition from endosperm proliferation to embryo development in Arabidopsis

Spatiotemporal regulation of gene expression by polycomb repressive complex 2(PRc2)is critical for animal and plant *** Arabidopsis fertilization independent seed(FIS)-PRC2 complex functions specifically during plant reproduction from gametogenesis to seed *** a double fertilization event,triploid endosperm proliferates early,followed by the growth of a diploid embryo,which replaces the endosperm in Arabidopsis and many *** genes critical for endosperm proliferation such as IKkU2 and minI3 are activated after *** we report that two MADS-box AGAMOUS-LIKE(AGL)proteins associate with the key endosperm proliferation loci and recruit the FIS-PRC2 repressive complex at 4-5 days after pollination(DAP).Interestingly,AGL9 and AGL15 only accumulate toward the end of endosperm proliferation at 4-5 DAP and promote the deposition of H3K27me3 marks at key endosperm proliferation *** of AGL9 and AGL15 or overexpression of AGL9 or AGL15 significantly influence endosperm proliferation and ***-wide analysis with cleavage Under Targets and tagmentation(CUT&Tag)sequencing and RnA sequencing revealed the landscape of endosperm H3K27me3 marks and gene expression profiles in Col-0 and agl9 ***&Tag qPCR also demonstrated the occupancy of the two MADS-box proteins and FIS-PRC2 on a few representative target *** studies suggest that MADS-box proteins could potentially recruit PRc2 to regulate many other developmental processes in plants or even in fungi and animals.

Synergistic effect of Co and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C for electroreduction of nitrate to ammonia on Co-MOF derived Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/nC

Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction(e-nO_(3)RR)offers a promising alternative method for nitrogen cycling and ammonia(nH3)production under ambient ***,the method is still in the dilemma of lowering the reaction overpotential and increasing the reaction *** successfully developed the composition-adjustable Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/n-doped carbon(nC)catalysts by in situ carbonization of Co-based metal-organic framework(MOF)with the constrained phosphomolybdic *** adjusting the ratio of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C,Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/nC-3 could satisfy both nO_(3)−conversion at low potential and nH_(x)hydrogenation,and synthesize ammonia efficiently through the synergistic effect of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)*** achieved an ammonia yield rate as 1233.2μg·h^(−1)·mgcat^(−1)and Faradaic efficiency of nH4+93.6%at−0.33 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).Importantly,density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental results have demonstrated for the first time the excellent adsorption of nitrite(nO_(2)^(−))by the Mo sites of Co_(6)Mo_(6)C during e-nO_(3)RR,avoiding the undesirable accumulation of nO_(2)^(−).
