The achievement of ignition at the national Ignition Facility(nIF)has prompted a global wave of further research on inertial fusion energy(IFE).However,IFE requires a target gain G of 30-100,and it is hard to achieve fusion at such high gain with the energy,configuration,and technical approach of the ***,we present a conceptual design for a next-generation laser driver that is applicable to multiple laser fusion schemes and provides 10 MJ,2-3 PW at 3ω(or 2ω,in which case the energy and power can be higher),and one shot per 30 min,with the aim of achieving G>*** is also efficient,compact,and low in cost,and it has low susceptibility to laser-plasma instabilities.

Fair exchange protocols play a critical role in enabling two distrustful entities to conduct electronic data exchanges in a fair and secure *** protocols are widely used in electronic payment systems and electronic contract signing,ensuring the reliability and security of network *** order to address the limitations of current research methods and enhance the analytical capabilities for fair exchange protocols,this paper proposes a formal model for analyzing such *** proposed model begins with a thorough analysis of fair exchange protocols,followed by the formal definition of *** definition accurately captures the inherent requirements of fair exchange *** upon event logic,the model incorporates the time factor into predicates and introduces knowledge set *** enhancement empowers the improved logic to effectively describe the state and knowledge of protocol participants at different time points,facilitating reasoning about their acquired *** maximize the intruder’s capabilities,channel errors are translated into the behaviors of the *** participants are further categorized into honest participants and malicious participants,enabling a comprehensive evaluation of the intruder’s potential *** employing a typical fair exchange protocol as an illustrative example,this paper demonstrates the detailed steps of utilizing the proposed model for protocol *** entire process of protocol execution under attack scenarios is presented,shedding light on the underlying reasons for the attacks and proposing corresponding *** developedmodel enhances the ability to reason about and evaluate the security properties of fair exchange protocols,thereby contributing to the advancement of secure network transactions.

BACKGROUnD Traumatic internal carotid artery(ICA)occlusion is a rare complication of skull base fractures,characterized by high mortality and disability rates,and poor ***,timely discovery and correct management are crucial for saving the lives of such patients and improving their *** article retrospectively analyzed the imaging and clinical data of three patients,to explore the imaging characteristics and treatment strategies for carotid artery occlusion,combined with severe skull base *** SUMMARY This case included three patients,all male,aged 21,63,and 16 *** underwent plain film skull computed tomography(CT)examination at the onset of their illnesses,which revealed fractures at the bases of their ***,these cases were definitively diagnosed through CT angiography(CTA)*** first patient did not receive surgical treatment,only anticoagulation therapy,and recovered smoothly with no residual limb dysfunction(Case 1).The other two patients both developed intracranial hypertension and underwent decompressive *** of these patients had high intracranial pressure and significant brain swelling postoperatively,leading the family to choose to take him home(Case 2).The other patient also underwent decompressive craniectomy and recovered well postoperatively with only mild limb motor dysfunction(Case 3).We retrieved literature from PubMed on skull base fractures causing ICA occlusion to determine the imaging characteristics and treatment strategies for this type of *** For patients with cranial trauma combined with skull base fractures,it is essential to complete a CTA examination as soon as possible,to screen for blunt cerebrovascular injury.

In this paper,promising but simple schemes are investigated to enhance the micro-bunching of relativistic electron beams for coherent harmonic generation(CHG)by using phase merging *** contrast to the standard CHG scheme,two specially designed dispersion sections(DSs)are adopted with the DS-modulator–DS *** phase space of the e beam is appropriately coupled in the first DS,and the electrons within one seed wavelength can merge to the same phase with a matched second ***-bunching of the e beam can thus be enhanced by a large margin with much higher-harmonic *** e beams from laser wakefield accelerators(LWFAs)as an example,start-to-end simulations are performed to show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed schemes with several *** beam current can be optimized to several tens to hundreds of kiloamperes,and the radiation power reaches hundreds of megawatts in the extreme ultraviolet regime within a 3.5 m-long *** proposed schemes offer new opportunities for future compact free-electron lasers driven by LWFAs and provides prospects for truly compact and widely applicable systems.

Among steganalysis techniques,detection against MV(motion vector)domain-based video steganography in the HEVC(High Efficiency Video Coding)standard remains a challenging *** the purpose of improving the detection performance,this paper proposes a steganalysis method that can perfectly detectMV-based steganography in ***,we define the local optimality of MVP(Motion Vector Prediction)based on the technology of AMVP(Advanced Motion Vector Prediction).Secondly,we analyze that in HEVC video,message embedding either usingMVP index orMVD(Motion Vector Difference)may destroy the above optimality of *** then,we define the optimal rate of MVP as a steganalysis ***,we conduct steganalysis detection experiments on two general datasets for three popular steganographymethods and compare the performance with four state-ofthe-art steganalysis *** experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed feature ***,our method stands out for its practical applicability,requiring no model training and exhibiting low computational complexity,making it a viable solution for real-world scenarios.

We propose a theoretical scheme to realize a two-dimensional(2D)diffraction grating in a four-level inverted-Y-type atomic system coupled by a standing-wave(SW)field and a Laguerre-Gaussian(LG)vortex *** to asymmetric spatial modulation of the LG vortex field,the incident probe field can be lopsidedly diffracted into four domains and an asymmetric 2D electromagnetically induced grating is *** adjusting the detunings of the probe field and the LG vortex field,the intensities of the LG vortex field and the coherent SW field,as well as the interaction length,the diffraction properties and efficiency,can be effectively *** addition,the effect of the azimuthal parameter on the Fraunhofer diffraction of the probe field is also *** asymmetric 2D diffraction grating scheme may provide a versatile platform for designing quantum devices that require asymmetric light transmission.

Electrochemical converting nO_(2)^(-)into nH_(3)(nO_(2)RR)holds an enormous prospect to attain efficient nH_(3) electrosynthesis and polluted nO_(2)^(-)***,we report single-atom Co alloyed Ru(Co_(1)Ru)as an efficient and durable nO_(2)RR *** experimental and theoretical investigations reveal that single-atom Co alloying of Ru enables the construction of Co_(1)-Ru heteronuclear active sites to synergistically promote nO_(2)^(-)activation/hydrogenation while suppressing the competitive H_(2) evolution,rendering the greatly enhanced activity and selectivity of Co_(1)Ru towards the nO_(2)***,Co_(1)Ru assembled within a flow cell exhibits an impressive nH_(3) yield rate of 2379.2μmol·h^(-1)·cm^(-2) with an nH_(3)-Faradaic efficiency of 92%at a high current density of 415.9 mA·cm^(-2),which is among the highest nO_(2)RR performances reported to date.
