Hidden correlation of the effect mechanism on chronic gastritis treated with ginger-isolated moxibustion at different single acupoints

Objective: To observe the differences in the effects and mechanisms on chronic gastritis treated by ginger-isolated moxibustion at Zúsānlǐ(足三里ST 36) and Nèiguān(内关PC 6).Methods: A total of 60 eligible patients of chronic gastritis were randomized into two groups, a ST 36 group(ginger-isolated moxibustion at ST 36, 30 cases) and a PC 6 group(ginger-isolated moxibustion at PC 6, 30 cases). Before and after 6 treatments, the total variability of heart rate(TV) and the scores in Scale for gastrointestinal diseases of traditional Chinese medicine were determined and recorded. Using correlation analysis, the hidden correlation condition that affects the therapeutic outcomes was excavated from the data. With least square method, the gradient curve(K value) of TV in treatment was estimated and the correlation between the effect mechanism and autonomic nerve regulation was ***: ① In ST 36 group, the duration of sickness, severity of disease and the activity of autonomic nerve before treatment presented the underlying correlation with the therapeutic effects. In contrast, the hidden correlation in PC 6 group was not clear. ② In ST 36 group, the higher K value of TV in treatment was, the more significant the therapeutic effects were, but in PC group, K value was reversely related to the therapeutic ***: The therapeutic effects of ginger-isolated moxibustion at single acupoint are correlated with the duration and severity of sickness. The therapeutic effects in ST 36 group were improved by the modulation of autonomic nerve activity and the effects in PC 6 group were negatively correlated with autonomic nerve activity. It is deduced that the effect mechanisms are different on single acupoint for chronic gastritis between the two points.

Multi-Objective Optimization Based on Life Cycle Assessment for Hybrid Solar and Biomass Combined Cooling,Heating and Power System

Phase-field lattice-Boltzmann study on fully coupled thermal-solute-convection dendrite growth of Al-Cu alloy

Dendrite growth is a complex liquid-solid phase transition process involving multiple physical factors.A phase-field lattice-Boltzmann method was developed to simulate the two-and three-dimension dendrite growth of Al-Cu *** effect of fully coupled thermal-solute-convection interaction on the dendrite growth was investigated by incorporating a parallel-adaptive mesh refinement algorithm into the numerical *** accurately reproducing the latent heat release,solute diffusion and convective transport behaviors at the liquidsolid interface,the interaction mechanism among thermal-solute-convection transport as well as their coupling effects on the dendrite growth dynamics were *** simulation results show that the release of latent heat slows down the dendrite growth rate,and both natural and forced convection disrupt the symmetrical growth of *** combination makes the growth of dendrites more complex,capturing important physical aspects such as recalescence,dendrite tip splitting,dendrite tilting,dendrite remelting,and solute plume in the simulation *** on the robustness and powerful ability of the numerical model,the formation mechanisms of these physical aspects were revealed.

Natural marmatite photocatalyst for treatment of mineral processing wastewater to help zero wastewater discharge

Mineral processing wastewater(MPW)with large discharge and high toxicity affects environmental safety,and the realizing zero discharge of MPW is of great significance for reducing environmental pollution,saving water resources,and promoting the sustainable development of the mining *** this study,we reported natural marmatite(NM)as a low-cost and efficient photocatalyst for the treatment of MPW to help zero wastewater *** photocatalytic activity of NM was evaluated by the removal of total organic carbon(TOC)from MPW under visible-light illumination,and the optimal degradation conditions were *** showed that superoxide free radicals(^(·)O_(2)^(-))were the dominant active species responsible for organic pollutants degradation,and 74.25%TOC removal was obtained after 120 min reaction under the optimum treatment ***,the wastewater treated by NM photocatalysis can be reused in the flotation system without adverse impact on the product *** on these findings,a model of zero wastewater discharge for flotation with the help of photocatalytic treatment was established,it indicated that the water of the whole system can be balanced without affecting the ore dressing index,which showed that visible light-driven photocatalyst has a promising application prospect in the treatment and recycling of industrial wastewater.

Effect of Mn addition on microstructure and mechanical properties of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel

Three types of steels were designed on the basis of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel by adding different Mn contents(2wt.%,6wt.%,and 12wt.%).Thermodynamic calculation,microstructure characterization and mechanical property tests were conducted to investigate the effect of Mn addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the austenitic heat resistant *** show that the matrix structure in all the three types of steels at room temperature is completely *** NbC and M_(23)C_(6)precipitate at grain boundaries of austenite *** the increase of Mn content,the number of carbides increases and their distribution becomes more *** the Mn content increases from 1.99%to 12.06%,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation increase by 14.6%,8.0%and 46.3%,*** improvement of the mechanical properties of austenitic steels can be explained by utilizing classic theories of alloy strengthening,including solid solution strengthening,precipitation strengthening,and grain *** increase in alloy strength can be attributed to solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening caused by the addition of *** improvement of the plasticity of austenitic steels can be explained from two aspects:grain refinement and homogenization of precipitated phases.

Exploring the characteristics of microbial community and enzyme activity in the aged refuse landfill environment of Taiyuan, China

Municipal solid waste landfill is the main disposal option for domestic garbage, in which microbial activities play an important role. However, despite the widespread practice of landfilling, the metagenomic microbial profiles of landfill sites remain poorly characterized. In this study, we used a combination of physicochemical analysis, ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry, and high-throughput Illumina shotgun sequencing to systematically investigate the changes in soil enzyme activities, microbial community structure, and functional attributes in aged refuse collected from the Xingou Municipal Solid Waste Landfill in Taiyuan, China, with ordinary topsoil from an area within 5 km of the landfill as control soil. Except for neutral phosphatase (P=0.065), the activities of urease, laccase, dehydrogenase, sucrase, neutral protease, and β-glucosidase were all significantly reduced (P <0.05) in the aged refuse compared with the control soil. Contrastingly, catalase activity was found to be significantly elevated in the aged refuse. Compared with the control soil, aged refuse was characterized by higher richness and diversity of microbial communities, as reflected by the higher values of community richness estimators (Chao 1 and ACE) and diversity indices (Shannon and Simpson). In total, 186 phyla, 4 354 genera, and 34 459 species were identified, with 132 phyla, 1 914 genera, and7 369 species showing significantly different abundances between the aged refuse and the control soil. Actinobacteria and Acidobacteria were identified as the dominant phyla in the control soil, whereas Proteobacteria, Euryarchaeota (archaea), and Firmicutes were found to predominate in the aged ***, Euryarchaeota and Methanoculleus were the major taxa detected in the aged refuse, but were almost completely absent in the control soil. This work presents simple post-treatment methods to selectively and partially remove the Pd core of Pd-Pt core–shell(Pt@Pd/C)*** proton exchange membrane fuel cell with the post-treated Pt@Pd/C cathode(Pt loading:0.10 mg·cm^(-2))delivers an impressive peak power density of 1.2 W·cm^(-2).The partial removal of Pd core endows an ultrahigh oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)mass activity of 0.32 A·g_(PGM)-1 when normalized to the platinum group metal(PGM)mass,or equivalently 0.55 A·mg_(Pt)^(-1) at 0.9 V measured in a fuel *** post-treatment thickens the Pt shells and mitigates the Pd dissolution during potential *** a result,the post-treated core-shell catalyst demonstrates superior durability in ORR mass activity and polarization power density retention than untreated core-shell catalyst and benchmark Pt/***-situ inductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry(ICP-MS)results highlight that the amount of dissolved Pd in post-treated core–shell catalyst is 17-times lower than that of the untreated *** findings highlight the importance of structural tuning of catalysts in enhancing their mass activity and durability.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of a cast TRIP-assisted multiphase stainless steel

Stainless steels are used in a wide range of complex environments due to their excellent corrosion *** stainless steels can offer an excellent combination of strength,toughness and corrosion resistance due to the coexistence of different *** microstructure and mechanical properties of a novel cast multiphase stainless steel,composed of martensite,ferrite,and austenite,were investigated following appropriate heat treatment processes:solution treatment at 1,050℃ for 0.5 h followed by water quenching to room temperature,and aging treatment at 500℃ for 4 h followed by water quenching to room *** show reversed austenite is formed by diffusion of Ni element during aging process,and the enrichment of Ni atoms directly determines the mechanical stability of *** austenite with a lower Ni content undergoes a martensitic transformation during plastic *** tensile strength of the specimen exceeds 1,100 MPa and the elongation exceeds 24%after solid solution,and further increases to 1,247 MPa and 25%after aging *** enhancement is due to the TRIP effect of austenite and the precipitation of the nanoscale G-phase pinning dislocations in ferrite and martensite.

Templates for the synthesis of zeolites
