Sugarcane is one of the major important sugar yielding crops in *** an exhaustive crop,sugarcane removes a huge amount of plant nutrients from the ***,the combined use of organic and inorganic fertilizers can be a good approach to deal with nutrient depletion and promote sustainable crop production as well as improve soil ***,an attempt was made to identify the most fruitful and profitable integrated nutrient management on the aspects of growth,yield and quality of sugarcane in two consecutive growing *** treatments:T_(1)=Control,T_(2)=165:55:120:30:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1),T_(3)=Poultry Litter(PL)at 5 t ha^(−1)+95:51:87:9:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1),T_(4)=Cow Dung(CD)at 15 t ha^(−1)+36:52:60:17:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1),T_(5)=Press Mud(PM)at 15 t ha^(−1)+10:50:43:0:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1),T_(6)=Mustard Oil Cake(MOC)at 0.5 t ha^(−1)+140:54:115:25:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1)and T_(7)=GM(Green Manure)at 5 t ha^(−1)+140:53:100:28:10:2.5:4 kg N:P:K:S:Mg:Zn:B ha^(−1)were used in this *** years data showed that treatment T_(3)produced the maximum amount of tillers,total dry matter yield,millable sugarcane,cane yield and sugar yield,followed by the T_(4)*** highest stalk heights were recorded in the T_(3)treatment,which was statistically similar to all other treatments except T_(1)and T_(2).The juice quality parameters viz.,brix and pol in cane were found significant in treatment T_(3)while the highest purity was obtained in the T_(7)*** the data of Jaggery(goor)quality parameters,the highest sucrose content,color transmittance,Jaggery(goor)recovery and the lowest ash content of Jaggery(goor)were observed in the T_(3)treatment,which was statistically similar to the T_(4)treatment in both *** highest cost of production was obtained from the T_(6)treatment while the highest gross return,net return and BCR were recorded in the T_(3)*** sig

The Cross-domain Heuristic Search Challenge(CHeSC)is a competition focused on creating efficient search algorithms adaptable to diverse problem *** hyper-heuristics are a class of algorithms that dynamically choose heuristics during the search *** selection hyper-heuristics have different imple-mentation ***,comparisons between them are lacking in the literature,and previous works have not highlighted the beneficial and detrimental implementation methods of different *** question is how to effectively employ them to produce an efficient search ***,the algorithms that competed in the inaugural CHeSC have not been collectively *** work conducts a review analysis of the top twenty competitors from this competition to identify effective and ineffective strategies influencing algorithmic performance.A summary of the main characteristics and classification of the algorithms is *** analysis underlines efficient and inefficient methods in eight key components,including search points,search phases,heuristic selection,move acceptance,feedback,Tabu mechanism,restart mechanism,and low-level heuristic parameter *** review analyzes the components referencing the competition’s final leaderboard and discusses future research directions for these *** effective approaches,identified as having the highest quality index,are mixed search point,iterated search phases,relay hybridization selection,threshold acceptance,mixed learning,Tabu heuristics,stochastic restart,and dynamic *** are also compared with recent trends in *** work enhances the understanding of selection hyper-heuristics,offering valuable insights for researchers and practitioners aiming to develop effective search algorithms for diverse problem domains.

A Study on Edge Segmentation of Different Types of Datasets with Multiple Algorithms

In this paper, we study edge detection or segmentation, which is recognized as a rudiment innovation as it can evaluate sharpness and analyze object boundaries. That’s the reason it has been an influential figure in the image-processing era. Because of this, it has a significant influence in the age of image processing. On the other hand, edge detection is the process of dividing an image into discontinuous regions. It specifies the intensity shift connected to the image’s edge. There are several methods for detecting edges. Four edge identification methods on satellite images and satellite images affected by Gaussian noise were examined. Known edge detection technologies such as Canny, Prewitt, Scharr, and Robert operators are included in this study. Additionally, the key feature of an image for evaluating its quality is the Image Quality Assessment (IQA) measure. We primarily take into account SSIM, MSE, PSNR, and RMSE when assessing image quality. Experimental validation has been obtained for the application of the Canny and Prewitt algorithms to the satellite dataset. However, when the Gaussian Noise effect is added to the same dataset, clever edge detection performs better.

Performance comparison of zero-Schottky-barrier and doped contacts carbon nanotube transistors with strain applied

Atomistic quantum simulation is performed to compare the performance of zero-Schottky-barrier and doped source-drain contacts carbon nanotube field effect transistors(CNTFETs) with strain applied. The doped source-drain contact CNTFETs outperform the Schottky contact devices with and without strain applied. The off-state current in both types of contact is similar with and without strain applied. This is because both types of contact offer very similar potential barrier in off-state. However, the on-state current in doped contact devices is much higher due to better modulation of on-state potential profile, and its variation with strain is sensitive to the device contact type. The on/off current ratio and the inverse subthreshold slope are better with doped source-drain contact, and their variations with strain are relatively less sensitive to the device contact type. The channel transconductance and device switching performance are much better with doped source-drain contact, and their variations with strain are sensitive to device contact type.

Analytical model of compact star in low-mass X-ray binary with de Sitter spacetime

In this article, we suggest a Sitter model in favor of compact stars in low-mass X-ray ***, we have considered the presence of a cosmological constant(on a small scale) to investigate the stellar structure. We conclude that this approach is very suitable for the familiar physical model of compact stars in low-mass X-ray binaries. We calculate the probable radius, compactness(u) and surface redshift(Z_s) of six compact stars in low-mass X-ray binaries, namely Cyg X-2, V395 Carinae/2 S 0921–630, XTE J2123–058,X1822–371(V691 CrA), 4 U 1820–30 and GR Mus(XB 1254–690). We also offer a possible equation of state(EOS) for the stellar objects.

Introduction:The brown planthopper(BPH),Nilaparvata lugens(Stål)(Hemiptera:Delphacidae),is a notorious insect pest of *** supplementation can alter plant biochemical compositions which may indirectly affect on ecological fitness parameters of its insect ***,few findings are available on nutrient-induced ecological fitness of BPH and relationship of BPH fitness parameters with its host rice plant biochemical ***:We studied the main and interaction effects of nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),and potassium(K)inputs on BPH fitness,as measured by the following variables:nymph survival,nymphal duration,adult body weight,and its *** planthopper fitness parameters were regressed as function of rice plant(Oryza sativa)biochemical composition.A completely randomized design with four replications in a factorial scheme was used considering N,P,and K levels as ***:Nitrogen application to the host rice plants provided greater survival and enhanced body weight of *** nymphal duration was found to decrease with N subsidy that caused shorter generation time of *** compounds N and soluble protein(SP),total free sugar(TFS),and silicon(Si)content in rice plant tissue correlated strongly with all fitness traits of ***,SP,and TFS associated positively with BPH survival and body weight,while negatively with nymphal *** contrast,Si had negative correlation with BPH survival and body weight,but positive with nymphal *** supplementation to host plant contributed to increase BPH body *** of P with all parameters of BPH were weak except body weight which was highly significant and *** between N and P inputs demonstrated significant effect on BPH body *** of K had no significant effect on BPH survival and *** analysis did not detect significant relationship of BPH fitness parameters with plant tissue content of ***:The res

Bangladesh is renowned in disaster risk reduction(DRR)for active involvement of community people and local disaster management institutions in DRR *** study aimed to describe the disaster risk management(DRM)institutions and assess their functioning in six coastal unions across the three coastal zones of *** qualitative and quantitative research approaches were *** study focused on two key local institutions—the Union Disaster Management Committees(UDMCs)and the Cyclone Preparedness Program(CPP)—functioning at the union level in *** institutions have both horizontal and vertical collaborations with other ***,we argue that the UDMCs'external dependencies in their functioning indicate their limited financial and administrative autonomy,which is a barrier to successfully institutionalizing disaster *** results show that the CPP is the most successful program,markedly increasing the trust of the people in warning dissemination and evacuation efforts in the event of a *** the adoption of decentralized risk management systems has resulted in significant progress in increased rate of evacuation and reduced death rate and damage,lack of funding and equipment,limited coordination between institutions,lack of skilled and knowledgeable workforce,and inappropriate power structures may reduce the effectiveness of DRR activities prior to,during,and following disasters.

Functional relationships of nodulation response and biomass production at nursery stages of two fast-growing, leguminous-multipurpose tree species in Bangladesh: Albizia saman and Leucaena leucocephala

This study was carried out to assess the relationship of the status of nodulation(i.e., the number of nodules, their shape and size) in root and biomass production of plant growth parameters(i.e., number of leaves, root and shoot lengths, root biomass and shoot biomass) in Albizia saman and Leucaena leucocephala. The assessment started 60 days after seeding. The study revealed that nodulation response and biomass production in both species showed significant differences over time(p < 0.05) in all variables except in the root-shoot ratio(oven-dry) of L. leucocephala. The study also showed significant differences(p < 0.05) in nodule formation and biomass production at the end of the study period between the two species except in the number of nodules and leaves and the green root-shoot ratio. There were strong positive correlations between nodule formation and biomass production, i.e., the number of nodules and the age of plants, the number of nodules and leaves, as well as the number of nodules and biomass(root biomass and shoot biomass) in both species. The results obtained using principal component analysis(PCA) and correlation coefficients of the different characteristics of nodulation and biomass production were similar in both species. The PCA showed that shoot biomass(shoot green weight and shoot oven-dry weight) is positively correlated with PC1(with an eigenvalue of 7.50) and root length is positively correlated with PC2(with an eigenvalue of 0.19) in the case of A. saman. In the case of L. leucocephala, the PCA revealed that root biomass(root green weight and root oven-dry weight), shoot biomass and shoot length are also positively correlated with PC1, while nodule formation and the number of leaves are positively correlated with PC2(with an eigenvalue PC1 of 6.92 and PC2 of 0.49).
