The European rabbit Oryctolagus cuniculus is an exotic herbivorous mammal undergoing an active phase of geographical expansion in the arid ecosystems of *** Adaptive Flexibility Hypothesis states that populations at the range edge(new populations)will exhibit greater fexibility in the use of resources compared with populations located in the range core(older populations).The objective of this work was to compare the rabbit’s use of spatial and trophic resources in relation to the establishment time of their *** sampling was carried out for 2 years(2017 and 2018)in sites with different establishment times for rabbit *** sampling stratifed by type of habitat was applied using 115 fxed strip transects of 1,000 m2 laid out across the study *** rabbit signs were recorded in each transect,and environmental and anthropic variables were *** results show that the individuals from the range edge are more selective in the use of habitat than those from the range *** the microhabitat level,we observed a pattern in the particular components of habitat use by rabbits mainly linked to food availability and proximity to *** a trophic perspective,rabbits could show fexible adjustment to novel conditions and environments in the range *** variability in resource use by the European rabbit confrms its ecological fexibility,pivotal for their advance toward new environments in Argentina.

Tropospheric reactive bromine is important for atmospheric chemistry,regional air pollution,and global *** studies have reported measurements of atmospheric reactive bromine species in different environments,and proposed their main sources,***-salt aerosol（SSA）,oceanic biogenic activity,polar snow/ice,and *** and other strong cyclonic activities（***） induce abrupt changes in different earth system processes,causing widespread destructive ***,the role of typhoons in regulating reactive bromine abundance and sources remains ***,we report field observations of bromine oxide（BrO）,a critical indicator of reactive bromine,on the Huaniao Island（HnI）in the East China Sea in July *** observed high levels of BrO below 500 m with a daytime average of9.7±4.2 pptv and a peak value of ～26 pptv under the influence of a *** field measurements,supported by model simulations,suggest that the typhoon-induced drastic increase in wind speed amplifies the emission of SSA,significantly enhancing the activation of reactive bromine from SSA *** also detected enhanced BrO mixing ratios under high nOxconditions（ppbv level） suggesting a potential pollution-induced mechanism of bromine release from *** elevated levels of atmospheric bromine noticeably increase ozone destruction by as much as ～40% across the East China *** the high frequency of cyclonic activity in the northern hemisphere,reactive bromine chemistry is expected to play a more important role than previously thought in affecting coastal air quality and atmospheric oxidation *** suggest that models need to consider the hitherto overlooked typhoon-and pollution-mediated increase in reactive bromine levels when assessing the synergic effects of cyclonic activities on the earth system.

This work is concerned with the time-fractional doubly parabolic Keller-Segel system in R^(n)(n≥1),and we derive some refined results on the large time behavior of solutions which are presupposed to enjoy some uniform boundedness ***,the well-posedness and the asymptotic stability of solutions in marcinkiewicz spaces are *** results are achieved by means of an appropriate estimation of the system nonlinearity in the course of an analysis based on Duhamel-type representation formulae and the Kato-Fujita framework which consists in constructing a fixed-point argument by using a suitable time-dependent space.

Mechanochemistry and hydrogen storage properties of 2Li_(3)n+Mg mixture

The Li-Mg-n-H hydrogen storage system is a promising hydrogen storage material due to its moderate operation temperature,good reversibility,and relatively high *** this work,the Li-Mg-n-H composite was directly synthesized by reactive ball milling(RBM) of Li3n and Mg powder mixture with a molar ratio of 2:1 under hydrogen pressure of 9 *** than 8.8 wt%hydrogen was absorbed during the RBM *** phases and structural evolution during the in situ hydrogenation process were analyzed by means of in situ solidgas absorption and ex situ X-ray diffraction(XRD) *** is determined that the hydrogenation can be divided into two steps,leading to mainly the formation of a lithium magnesium imide phase and a poorly crystallized amide phase,*** H-cycling properties of the as-milled composite were determined by temperature-programmed dehydrogenation(TPD) method in a closed *** onset dehydrogenation temperature was detected at 125℃,and it can reversibly desorb 3.1 wt% hydrogen under a hydrogen back pressure of 0.2 *** structural evolution during dehydrogenation was further investigated by in situ XRD *** is found that Mg(nH_(2))_(2)phase disappears at about 200 ℃,and Li_(2)Mg_(2)n_(3)H_(3),LinH_(2),and Li_(2)Mgn_(2)H_(2)phases coexist at even 300 ℃,revealing that the dehydrogenation process is step-wised and only partial hydrogen can be desorbed.

Li-Mg-n-B-H/ZrCoH_(3) composites were successfully synthesized by ball milling of the reactants under argon and hydrogen atmosphere,*** composite synthesized by reactive ball milling(RBM)under hydrogen has the best hydrogen storage *** can desorb 3.71 wt%hydrogen in 60 min at 150℃under pressure of 0.1 MPa,and the dehydrogenation capacity reaches 4.59 wt%in 8 *** the re-hydrogenation,5.27 wt%hydrogen was absorbed in only 10 min at 150℃under H_(2) pressure of 8 *** phases of the as-milled and subsequently dehydrogenated and re-hydrogenated samples were determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The microstructures and elemental distributions were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy-dispersive spectrometer(EDS)*** is shown that Mg is in situ hydrogenated and introduced homogeneous distribution of ZrCoH_(3) particles during the RBM process under hydrogen *** activation energies for the composites were calculated by Kissinger method through differential scanning calorimetric(DSC)measurements for the dehydrogenation process with different heating *** is determined that the activation energy for the Li-Mg-n-B-H/ZrCoH_(3) composite synthesized by RBM under hydrogen is 79.9 kJ·mol^(-1),which is14 kJ·mol^(-1) lower than that for the sample without ZrCoH_(3) *** n-H bond energies were analyzed by infrared(IR)absorption spectrum,and the reasons for weakening of the n-H bond were further discussed.

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and the safety of azathioprine (AZA) and buthionine sulfoximine (BSO) bylocalized application into HepG2 tumor in ***: Different hepatoma and colon carcinoma cell lines (HepG2, HuH7, Chang liver, LoVo, RKO, SW-48, SW-480) were grown in minimal essencial medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and 1% antibiotic/antimycotic solution and maintained in a humidified 37 ℃ incubator with 5% CO2. These cells were pretreated with BSO for 24 h and then with AZA for different times. We examined the effects of this combination on some proteins and on cellular death. We also studied the eff icacy and the safety of AZA (6 mg/kg per day) and BSO (90 mg/kg per day) in HepG2 tumor growth in vivo using athymic mice. We measured safety by serological markers such as aminotransferases and creatine ***: The in vitro studies revealed a new mechanism of action for the AZA plus BSO combination in the cancer cells compared with other thiopurines (6-mercaptopurine, 6-methylmercaptopurine, 6-thioguanine and 6-methylthioguanine) in combination with BSO. The cytotoxic effect of AZA plus BSO in HepG2 cells resulted from necroptosis induction in a mitochondrial-dependent manner. From kinetic studies we suggest that glutathione (GSH) depletion stimulates c-Jun amino-terminal kinase and Bax translocation in HepG2 cells with subsequent deregulation of mitochondria (cytochrome c release, loss of membrane potential), and proteolysis activation leading to loss of membrane integrity, release of lactate dehydrogenase and DnA degradation. Some of this biochemical and cellular changes could be reversed by n-acetylcysteine (a GSH replenisher). In vivo studies showed that HepG2 tumor growth was inhibited when AZA was combined with ***: Our studies suggest that a combination of AZA plus BSO could be useful for localizedtreatment of hepatocellular carcinoma as in the currently used transarterial chemoembolization method.

Quantum Codes Do not Increase Fidelity against Isotropic Errors

In this article, we study the ability of error-correcting quantum codes to increase the fidelity of quantum states throughout a quantum computation. We analyze arbitrary quantum codes that encode all qubits involved in the computation, and we study the evolution of n-qubit fidelity from the end of one application of the correcting circuit to the end of the next application. We assume that the correcting circuit does not introduce new errors, that it does not increase the execution time (i.e. its application takes zero seconds) and that quantum errors are isotropic. We show that the quantum code increases the fidelity of the states perturbed by quantum errors but that this improvement is not enough to justify the use of quantum codes. namely, we prove that, taking into account that the time interval between the application of the two corrections is multiplied (at least) by the number of qubits n (due to the coding), the best option is not to use quantum codes, since the fidelity of the uncoded state over a time interval n times smaller is greater than that of the state resulting from the quantum code correction.
