The control of microstructure during hot rolling process of steel is of great importance and will affect the properties of the steel *** to the production line,a three-dimensional multi-field coupled finite element model of 24-pass continuous hot rolling process of 38CrMoAl steel rod is established using the finite element software *** on the recrystallization kinetics model and the grain growth model,a subroutine written in Fortran is introduced to calculate the recrystallization behavior and microstructure evolution of 38CrMoAl steel during the entire rolling *** distribution and evolution of variables such as strain,temperature and recrystallization fractions during the rolling process are *** temperature variations and grain sizes at both the center and surface of the tested steel are compared with the experimental *** it is found that the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental ones,confirming the reliability of the established model.

The synergistic inhibitive effect of cysteine(Cys)and iodide ions on the corrosion behavior of copper was examined in a 0.5 mol·L^(-1) Na_(2)SO_(4) *** polarization curve revealed that Cys acted as a mixed type inhibitor with a major effect on the cathodic process,consequently decreased the corrosion current density by a great extent and shifted the corrosion potential *** investigated results suggested that iodide ions can enhance the inhibition efficiency of *** inhibition mechanism of Cys and the synergistic effect of the two examined reagents were investigated by fitting experimental impedance data according to a projected equivalent circuit for metal/electrolyte *** analysis further confirmed that the corrosion inhibition was realized due to the adsorption of the inhibitor molecules at the metal/solution *** adsorption isotherm was proposed to describe inhibition mechanism of Cys on copper *** sites of Cys molecule were used to form inhibitor film on the copper *** of iodide ion increased its inhibition efficiency by enhancing adsorption of Cys cations through electrostatic interaction with I-pre-adsorbed on Cu surface.

TO SEE THE WORLD IN A GRAIN OF *** microscopy has proved to be essential for seeing life in a grain of a *** epifluorescence microscopes,such as wide-field microscopes and laser scanning confocal microscopes,have been widely used for biology research over the past few *** goal of fluorescence microscopy is to observe the structure and function of cellular events across time and threedimensional(3D)space with spatiotemporal resolution as high as ***,conventional epifluorescence microscopes illuminate the entire 3D volume of the sample while detecting signals only from the 2D focal plane,thereby leading to low photon utilization and high phototoxicity issues that notably prevent high-resolution imaging of live biological specimens(Figure 1A).It becomes increasingly noteworthy that the massively emerging biomedical applications are posing significant challenges to current fluorescence microscopy techniques.

By employing atomistic simulations based on an empirical potential model and a self-consistent-charge density-functional tight-binding method, the collision dynamics process of an energetic carbon ion impinging on the Stone-Wales defect in a single-walled carbon nanotube was investigated. The outwardly and inwardly displacement threshold energies for the primary knock-on atom in the Stone-Wales defect were calculated to be 24.0 and 25.0 eV, respectively. The final defect configuration for each case was a 5-1DB-T（DB=dangling bond） defect formed in the front surface of the nanotube. Moreover, the minimum incident energy of the projectile prompting the primary knock-on atom displacement was predicted to be 71.0 eV, and the time evolutions of the kinetic and potential energies of the projectile and the primary knock-on atom were both plotted to analyze the energy transfer process.

Feedback from supernovae （SNe） and from active galactic nuclei （AGN） accom- panies the history of star formation and galaxy evolution. We present an analytic model to explain how and when the SNe and AGN exert their feedback effects on the star formation and galaxy evolution processes. By using SNe and AGN kinetic feedback mechanisms based on the Lambda Cold Dark Matter （LCDM） model, we explore how these feedback mecha- nisms affect the star formation history （SFH）, the Near-Infrared Background （NIRB） flux and the cosmological reionization. We find the values of the feedback strengths, εAGN = 1.0 -0.03^＋0.5 and εSN = 0.04 -0.02^＋0.02, can provide a reasonable explanation of most of the observational resuits, and that the AGN feedback effect on star formation history is quite different from the SNe feedback at high redshifts. Our conclusions manifest quantitatively that these feedback effects decrease star formation rate density （SFRD） and the NIRB flux （in 1.4 - 4.0 μm）, and postpone the time of completion of the cosmological reionization.

Aim： To observe effects of angiotensin （Ang） II receptor antagonist （ATI） irbesartan and angiotensin-converting enzyme （ACE） inhibitor perindopril on rat myocardium calcineurin expression and sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2＋-ATPase activity in the model of pressure-overload cardiac hypertrophy. Methods： Forty male adult Sprague Dawley rats were divided into 5 groups One group was treated by sham operation; four groups were myocardium hypertrophy cases caused by banding aortic above renal artery. Drugs were given one week after operation. Group 1： sham group, rats （n=8） were gavaged with normal saline 2 ml/（kg·d）（ig）; Group 2： control group, rats （n=8） were treated with normal saline 2 ml/（kg·d）（ig）; Group 3： rats （n=8） were given perindopril 2 mg/（kg·d）（ig）; Group 4： rats （n=8） were treated with irbesartan 20 mg/（kg·d）（ig）; Group 5： rats （n=8） were given irbesartan 20 mg/（kg·d） plus perindopril 2 mg/（kg·d）（ig）. Morphometric determination, calcineurin expression and sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2＋-ATPase activity were done at the end of 6 week of drug intervention. Expression of calcineurin in myocardium was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results： Left ventricular mass index （LVMI）, transverse diameter of myocardial cell （TDM）, calcineurin activity were remarkably decreased after drug intervention and this decrease was most remarkable in the combination drug therapy group. Sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2＋-ATPase activity was increased after drug intervention, especially in the combined drug therapy group. Calcineurin expression in myocardium was remarkably decreased after drug intervention. LVMI was positively correlated with TDM and calcineurin, negatively correlated with sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2＋-ATPase. Conclusion： These data suggest that irbesartan and perindopril inhibit cardiac hypertrophy through the increased activity of sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca^2＋-ATPase and decreased expression of calcineurin. Exploring zinc-free anode materials is one of the effective strategies to get the zinc dendrites problem of flexible zinc ion battery(ZIB)*** this work,an analogous heterostructure(AHS)is constructed from the excellent MXene(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x))and TiSe_(2) *** AHS not only possesses numerous diffu-sion paths and Zn^(2+)storage sites but also possesses a stable conductive network to accelerate charge transfer in the *** a collaborative advantage,electrochemical measurement results show that MXene/TiSe_(2) electrodes display an excellent specific capacity of 177.9 mAh g^(-1) at 0.10 A g^(-1) and a long-term cycling stability of 77.4%capacity retention after 400 *** computations further demon-strate the excellent performance of MXene/TiSe_(2) electrodes including desirable electronic conductivity and low Zn^(2+)migration *** assembled flexible ZIB not only delivers a good specific capacity of 42.2μAh cm^(-2) at 0.20 mA cm^(-2) and a competitive energy density of 37.4μWh cm^(-2) but also exhibits excellent flexibility and ***,after 400 cycles at 0.60 A g^(-1),flexible ZIB shows a capacity retention of 73.8%.This work gives a successful attempt to design 2D layered materials as Zn metal-free anode for flexible ZIB.

Extreme precipitation events in East China and associated moisture transport pathways

Interannual variation of summer precipitation in East China, and frequency of rainstorms during the monsoon season from 1961 to 2010, are analyzed in this study. It is found that the two variables show opposite trends on a decadal time scale: frequency of rainstorms increases significantly after the 1990 s, while summer precipitation in East China decreases during the same period. Analysis of the spatial distribution of summer rainstorm frequency from 1961 to 2010 indicates that it decreases from the southeast to the northwest at the east edge of the large-scale topography associated with the plateaus. Spatial distribution of rainstorms with daily rainfall greater than 50 mm is characterized by a "high in the southeast and low in the northwest" pattern, similar to the staircase distribution of the topography. However, the spatial distribution of variation in both summer precipitation and frequency of extreme rainstorms under global warming differs significantly from the three-step staircase topography. It is shown that moisture characteristics of summer precipitation and extreme rainstorms during the monsoon season in East China, including moisture transport pathways, moist flow pattern, and spatial structure of the merging area of moist flows, differ significantly. Areas of frequent rainstorms include the Yangtze River Valley and South China. Column-integrated moisture transport and its spatial structure could be summarized as a "merging" of three branches of intense moist flows from low and middle latitude oceans, and "convergence" of column-integrated moisture fluxes. The merging area for moist flow associated with rainstorms in the high frequency region is located slightly to the south of the monsoonal precipitation or non-rainstorm precipitation, with significantly strong moisture convergence.
