We investigate the existence of Ion-Acoustic solitary/shock waves in a five component cometary plasma consisting of positively and negatively charged oxygen ions, kappa described hydrogen ions, hot electrons and cold electrons. The KPB equation is derived for the system;its solution is plotted for different kappa values, as well as for the temperature ratios of ions. It is found that the amplitude of solitary structure increases with increasing kappa values and negatively charged oxygen ion densities. As the temperature of the positively charged oxygen ions increases, the amplitude of solitary wave also increases. We have also studied the dependence of coefficients of the KPB equation on physical parameters relevant to comet Halley.

We present numerical calculation of the impact of electron-electron interaction on the behavior of density of states and optical properties of BeO,SiC and Boron-Nitride nanotubes and *** model hamiltonian is applied to describe the dynamics of electrons on the lattice structure of theses *** excitation spectrum of the system in the presence of local electronic interactions has been found using mean Seld *** find the band gap width in both optical absorption and density of states reduces with local Hubbard electronic interaction *** absorption spectra exhibits the remarkable peaks,mainly owing to the divergence behavior of density of states and excitonic *** we compare optical absorption frequency behavior of BeO,SiC and Boron-Nitride nanotubes with each *** we investigate the optical properties of BeO and SiC sheets.A novel feature of optical conductivity of these structures is the decrease of frequency gap in the optical spectrum due to electronic interaction.

BACKGROUND There are several case reports of acute cholecystitis as the initial presentation of lymphoma of the gallbladder;all reports describe non-Hodgkin lymphoma or its subtypes on histopathology of the gallbladder tissue ***,there is no description in the literature of Hodgkin lymphoma causing hilar lymphadenopathy,inevitably presenting as ruptured cholecystitis with imaging mimicking gallbladder *** SUMMARY A 48-year-old man with a past medical history of diabetes mellitus presented with progressive abdominal pain,jaundice,night sweats,weakness,and unintended weight loss for one ***-up revealed a mass in the region of the porta hepatis causing obstructions of the cystic and common hepatic ducts,gallbladder rupture,as well as retroperitoneal *** clinical picture and imaging findings were suspicious for locally advanced gallbladder adenocarcinoma causing ruptured cholecystitis and cholangitis,with metastases to retroperitoneal lymph *** invasive techniques,including endoscopic duct brushings and percutaneous lymph node biopsy,were inadequate for tissue ***,this case required exploratory laparo-tomy,open cholecystectomy,and periaortic lymph node dissection for histopathological assessment and definitive *** lymphoma was present in the lymph nodes while the gallbladder specimen had no evidence of *** This clinical scenario highlights the importance of histopathological assessment in diagnosing gallbladder malignancy in a patient with gallbladder perforation and a grossly positive positron emission tomography/computed tomography *** both gallbladder adenocarcinoma and Hodgkin lymphoma,medical and surgical therapies must be tailored to the specific disease entity in order to achieve optimal long-term survival rates.

Seasonal changes in the fatty acid composition of the total lipid extracted from the whole body of Cydia pomonella L. larvae were determined by gas chromatography. The six most abundant fatty acids in both non-diapause and diapause larvae of codling moth were oleic （35%-39%）, palmitic （23%-33%）, linoleic （16%-30%）, palmitoleic （5%-10%）, stearic （1.5%-3.0%） and linolenic acids （1.0%-2.5%）. This represents a typical complement of Lepidopteran fatty acids. The fatty acid composition of total lipid of C. pomonella larvae was related to diapause. In similarity to most other reports, the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids increased in diapause initiation state. The total lipid of diapause larvae contained more linoleic acid （25.8% vs. 16.1%） and less palmitic acid （24.7% vs. 33.4%）, than that of non-diapause larvae. The weight percentage of linoleic acid （C 18：2） increased from 16% to 26% from early-August through early-September during transition to diapause, while palmitic acid （C16：0） decreased from 33% to 25% at the same time. These changes resulted in an increase in the ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids （UFA/SFA） from 1.72 in non-diapause larvae to 2.63 in diapause larvae.

Most hospitals have a contingency plan,based on all-risks and all-hazards assessment ***,emerging threats and risks often necessitate a flexible approach to emergency management at several levels of a disaster response system,for example,in ***,and possibly other countries,has limited possibilities of surge capacity in the management of large-scale disasters and emergencies,which necessitates a local/national partnership and a flexible local disaster and contingency *** study evaluates the opinions of a selected managerial group,both at operative and strategic levels,regarding possible changes in a major hospital's contingency plan during the ongoing COVID-19 *** interviews were conducted to explore the elements of surge capacity and an operational tool,consisting of command and control,safety,communication,assessment,triage,treatment,and *** results show a need to create feasible management methods that can be evaluated,establish clear leadership,put preparedness as a constant point on the highest managerial agenda,improve external monitoring,and create a regional coordinating ***,the results emphasize the significant role played by the incident command system and qualified leadership to facilitate competent and crucial medical decision making,as well as to provide reliable communication,collaboration,and coordination in a multi-agency response system during dynamic and unexpected *** steps enable a constant connection between reactive contingency plans and the proactivity in continuous risk assessment and enhance the flexibility of the contingency plans.

Cell-based biosensors have become a research hotspot in the biosensors and bioelectronics fields. The main feature of cell-based biosensors is immobilization of living cells on the surface of transducers. Different types of polymers which are used as scaffolds for cell growth should be biocompatible and should have reac- tive functional groups for further attachment of biomolecules. In this work, cell attachment and proliferation on chitosan hydrogel, chitosan-gelatin and gold nanoparticle-chitosan nanocomposite membranes was stud- ied. Characterization of the membranes was performed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Cytotoxicity assessment on HEK293 cells was carried out for all mem- branes using the MTT assay. Cell morphology and viability were assessed to evaluate cell attachment and pro- liferation. Regarding cell studies, the findings revealed that none of the membranes induced cytotoxic effects. However, the data showed that gold nanoparticle nanocomposite membranes improved HEK293 attachment and adhesion more than other membranes, indicating that it provides an effective surface for immobilizing cells for sensing applications.

According to the concept of“flexible surge capacity,”hospitals may need to be evacuated on two occasions:(1)when they are exposed to danger,such as in war;and(2)when they are contaminated,such as during the Covid-19 *** the former,the entire hospital must be evacuated,while in the latter,the hospital becomes a pandemic center necessitating the transfer of its non-contaminated staff,patients,and routine activities to other *** occasions involve several degrees of evacuation—partial or total—yet all require deliberate surge planning and collaboration with diverse *** study aimed to investigate the extent of hospital evacuation preparedness in Thailand,using the main elements of the flexible surge capacity concept.A mixed method cross-sectional study was conducted using a hospital evacuation questionnaire from a previously published multinational hospital evacuation *** tool contained questions regarding evacuation preparedness encompassing surge capacity and collaborative elements and an open-ended inquiry to grasp potential *** 143 secondary care,tertiary care,and university hospitals received the questionnaire;43 hospitals provided *** findings indicate glitches in evacuation protocols,particularly triage systems,the inadequacies of surge planning and multiagency collaboration,and knowledge limitations in community *** conclusion,the applications of the essential components of flexible surge capacity allow the assessment of hospital preparedness and facilitate the evaluation of guidelines and instructions through scenario-based training exercises.

The World Health Organization declared Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)a public health emergency of international concern(PHEIC)[1].Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),the etiological agent of COVID-19,is an enveloped,single-stranded,positive-sense RNA *** severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS)and Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS),the causative agent of COVID-19belongs to theβ-genus of the coronavirus family and has a genome sequence with an 82%similarity to that of SARS[1,2].Therefore,research on human coronaviruses,especially SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV,could be useful for predicting likely environmental fate and subsequent risks of SARS-CoV-2[1].
