Species composition and distribution of common Crassostrea and Saccostrea oysters along the coast of hainan Island

Oyster cultivation is a pivotal economic industry in hainan Island, South China, where a high oyster species diversity is shown. However, the specific distribution and biodiversity of oyster resources in the island have rema.ned unclear. To elucidate the diversity of oyster species and their distribution there, 307 oyster samples were collected from 29 sites in the intertidal zone around the island, and were identified using both morphological and molecular approaches. A minimum of 12 oyster species were identified in taxonomy, including Crassostrea species(C. gigas angulata, C. sikamea, C. iredalei,C. dianbaiensis, C. talonata, C. ariakensis, and C. hongkongensis), and Saccostrea species(S. malabonensis, S. mordax, S. echinata, S. circumsuta, and S. mordoides). The results revealed a remarkable diversity of oyster species along the coast of the island. Particularly noteworthy are that S. malabonensis and S. mordax constituted 36% and 22% of the collected specimens, respectively. This study provided a comprehensive overview on current state of oyster biodiversity in hainan, serving as a valuable reference for conservation and research on species distribution and resource dynamics in oyster populations.

The numerical simulation of internal features,such as inclusions and voids,is important to analyze their impact on the performance of composite ***,the complex geometries of internal features and the induced continuous-discontinuous(C-D)deformation fields are challenges to their numerical *** this study,a 3D approach using a simple mesh to simulate irregular internal geometries is developed for the first *** the help of a developed voxel crack model,image models that are efficient when recording complex geometries are directly imported into the *** reconstructions,which are usually labor-intensive,are excluded from this ***,using image models as the geometric input,image processing techniques are applied to detect material interfaces and develop contact ***,the C-D deformations of the complex internal features are directly calculated based on the numerical manifold *** accuracy and convergence of the developed3D approach are examined based on multiple *** 3D C-D simulation of sandstones with naturally formed complex microfeatures demonstrates the capability of the developed approach.

Tumor-protein 53(p53)is a transcription factor(TF)encoded by TP53(Trp53 in mice)and is a master regulator of tumor-suppressive programs'.Importantly,TP53 is the most frequently mutated gene in human cancer,and its loss of function contributes to tumor development,exemplified by variable p53 mutations detected in 50%-75%of pancreatic cancers.2 From these perceptions,a number of targets transcribed by p53 that confer tumor suppression have been ***,our understanding of how p53 prevents normal cells from initiating tumorigenesis is still *** complement this limitation,herein,we established a new approach to identify underlying effectors transcribed by p53 in normal physiology.

Electrode materials with high desalination capacity and long-term cyclic stability are the focus of capacitive deionization(CDI) community. Understanding the causes of performance decay in traditional carbons is crucial to design a high-performance material. Based on this, here, nitrogen-doped activated carbon(nAC) was prepared by pyrolyzing the blend of activated carbon powder(ACP) and melamine for the positive electrode of asymmetric CDI. By comparing the indicators changes such as conductivity, salt adsorption capacity, pH, and charge efficiency of the symmetrical ACP-ACP device to the asymmetric ACP-nAC device under different CDI cycles, as well as the changes of the electrochemical properties of anode and cathode materials after long-term operation, the reasons for the decline of the stability of the CDI performance were revealed. It was found that the carboxyl functional groups generated by the electro-oxidation of anode carbon materials make the anode zero-charge potential(E_(pzc)) shift positively,which results in the uneven distribution of potential windows of CDI units and affects the adsorption capacity. Furthermore, by understanding the electron density on C atoms surrounding the n atoms, we attribute the increased cyclic stability to the enhanced negativity of the charge of carbon atoms adjacent to quaternary-n and pyridinic-oxide-n.

In this article,in-situ scanning electron microscope characterization of the tensile properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matrix composite(TMC)was conducted before and after electroshocking treatment(EST).After EST,the tensile strength increased by 113.2 *** effect of EST on the tensile strength and fracture behavior of TiB was investigated using in-situ characterization of the fracture morphology and crack propagation path of the matrix and *** EST,TiB fracture introduced cracks that extended into the matrix,resulting in material *** EST,the refined TiB improved the bearing capacity of the matrix,thereby improving TMC ***,after EST,the cracks were introduced into the matrix,and resulting the fracture of matrix *** an increase in the external load,cracks in the matrix were observed to propagate to TiB,and the refined TiB was fractured,detached,and pulled out,resulting in the formation of *** the propagation path of the ma.n crack after EST showed that the deflection angle of the ma.n crack *** micro structure of the fracture surface indicated that the fracture of the matrix was plastic,whereas that of TiB was *** EST,the size and area of the dimples increased,confirming the increase in *** results revealed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn improved after ***,EST is an efficient method for tailoring the micro structures and mechanical properties of TMCs.

An inorganicDorganic hybrid crystalline material(SiMo_(12)O_(40))[Cu(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]_(2)·2H_(2)O(Complex 1,2,2'-bipy=2,2'-bipyridine)was synthesized for the first time by using 2,2'-bipy and transition metal copper to convert Waugh-type polyoxometalate[MnMo_(9)O_(3)_(2)]_(6-)into a Keggin polyoxometalate structure[SiMo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)under hydrothermal conditions in glass *** crystal tests and a series of characterizations were carried out on Complex *** structure of Complex 1 is composed of[SiMo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)and[Cu^(Ⅱ)(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]^(2+).The five-coordinated Cu is connected to two 2,2'-bipy through CuDn bonds,forming an approximately square ***,Complex 1 exhibited good photocatalytic performance for methylene blue degradation and electrocatalytic nitrite reduction properties simultaneously.

An active learning workflow for predicting hydrogen atom adsorption energies on binary oxides based on local electronic transfer features

machine learning combined with density functional theory（DFT） enables rapid exploration of catalyst descriptors space such as adsorption energy, facilitating rapid and effective catalyst screening. However, there is still a lack of models for predicting adsorption energies on oxides,due to the complexity of elemental species and the ambiguous coordination environment. This work proposes an active learning workflow（Le nn） founded on local electronic transfer features（e） and the principle of coordinate rotation invariance. By accurately characterizing the electron transfer to adsorption site atoms and their surrounding geometric structures, Le nn mitigates abrupt feature changes due to different element types and clarifies coordination environments. As a result, it enables the prediction of *H adsorption energy on binary oxide surfaces with a mean absolute error（maE） below 0.18 e V. Moreover, we incorporate local coverage（θl） and leverage neutral network ensemble to establish an active learning workflow, attaining a prediction maE below 0.2 e V for 5419 multi-*H adsorption structures. These findings validate the universality and capability of the proposed features in predicting *H adsorption energy on binary oxide surfaces.
