The basic m.chanism.and kinetics of the transform.tion process of alum.na inclusions in steel was reported when calcium.introduced into the steel by wire feeding orpowder injection. To clarify the m.chanism. m.del, experim.nts were perform.d by studying reactions between AltOs and CaO in a laboratory furnace and by perform.ng calcium.treatm.nts in an 8kg induction furnace for Al deoxidised m.lt. The phases form.d during the reaction between Al2O3 and CaO were exam.ned by SEm.EDS （scanning electron m.croscope-energy dispersive spectrom.ter）, and the reaction sequence of Al2O3=〉 CA6=〉 CA2 =〉 CA =〉 CAx（l） was discussed in term.of the experim.ntal observations. The kinetics of the reaction of calcium.with alum.na inclusions were sim.lated by im.ersing alum.na plates in a Ca treated steel m.lt in the induction furnace. Results were com.ared with observations of real inclusion transform.tion. A kinetic m.del was proposed based on the results.

BACKGROUND Advanced chronic kidney disease(CKD) is a com.on com.lication for people with type 1 and 2 diabetes and can often lead to glucose instability. To date, CGm.and interm.ttent scanning CGm.are only approved for people with diabetes but not for those with advanced *** To com.are the perform.nce of Dexcom.G5 and FreeStyle Libre sensors in adults with type 1 or 2 diabetes and advanced *** This was a non-random.zed clinical trial that took place in two outpatient clinics in western Sweden. All patients with type 1 or 2 diabetes and an estim.ted glom.rular filtration rate(eGFR) of m./m.n per 1.73 m.(2) were invited to participate. Forty patients(full analysis set = 33) carried the Dexcom.G5 sensor for 7 d and FreeStyle Libre sensor for 14 d sim.ltaneously. For referencing capillary blood glucose(Sm.G) was m.asured with a high accuracy glucose m.ter(Hem.Cue®) during the study period. At the end of the study, all patients were asked to answer a questionnaire on their experience using the *** The m.an age was 64.1(range 41-77) years, hem.globin A1 c was 7.0% [standard deviation(SD) 3.2], and diabetes duration was 28.5(SD 14.7) years. A total of 27.5% of the study population was on hem.dialysis and 22.5% on peritoneal dialysis. The m.an absolute relative difference for Dexcom.G5 vs Sm.G was significantly lower than that for FreeStyle Libre vs Sm.G [15.2%(SD 12.2) vs 20.9%(SD 8.6)], with a m.an difference of 5.72 [95% confidence interval(CI): 2.11-9.32;P = 0.0036]. New Find of Six-Spoke Sun Wheels from.the Bronze Age in Scandinavia

Six-spoke Sun wheels have previously been described by us from.m.sopotam.a, rock-carvings in Sweden and a golden sky dom. from.Sweden. The division of the Sun wheel into six segm.nts refers to the six double-m.nths of 60 days, and a full annual cycle of 360 days. In this paper we report the findings of a stone carving with 9 six-spoke Sun wheels and two solar eclipses found and depicted in 1840 in Denm.rk. The spokes in the nine Sun wheels are in N-S, E-W and NW-SE direction. The NW-SE line co-insides with the sunset at sum.er solstice and sunrise at winter solstice, which is in full agreem.nt with the alignm.nt of the fam.us stone-ship of Ales Stones in southernm.st Sweden. The new stone carving in Denm.rk provides a confirm.tion of the deep knowledge in astronom. existing am.ng the Bronze Age people, all from.m.sopotam.a up the Scandinavia.
