Stress corrosion cracking （SCC） is degradation of mechanical properties under the combined action of stress and corrosive environment of the susceptible material. Out of eight series of aluminium alloys, 2xxx, 5xxx and 7xxx aluminium alloys are susceptible to SCC. Among them, 7xxx series aluminium alloys have specific application in aerospace, military and structural industries due to superior mechanical properties. In these high strength 7xxx aluminium alloys, SCC plays a vital factor of consideration, as these failures are catastrophic during the service. The understanding of SCC behaviour possesses critical challenge for this alloy. The main aim of this review paper is to understand the effect of constituent alloying elements on the response of microstructural variation in various heat-treated conditions on SCC behavior. Further, review was made for improving the SCC resistance using thermomechanical treatments and by surface modifications of 7xxx alloys. Apart from a brief review on SCC of 7xxx alloys, this paper presents the effect of stress and pre-strain, effect of constituent alloying elements in the alloy, and the effect of environments on SCC behaviour. In addition, the SCC behaviours of weldments, 7xxx metal matrix composites and also laser surface modifications were also reviewed.

Objective:To investigate the anti-biofilm and anti-bacterial activity of Junceella juncea(***)against biofilm forming pathogenic ***:Gorgonians were extraeted with methanol and analysed with fourier transform infrared *** forming pathogens were identified by Congo red agar supplemented with sucrose.A quantitative spectrophotometric method was used to monitor in vitro biofilm reduction by microtitre plate ***-bacterial activity of methanolic gorgonian extract(mGE)was carried out by disc diffusion method followed by calculating the percentage of increase with crude methanol(Cm).Results:The presence of active functional group was exemplified by FT-IR ***,black,crystalline colonies confirm the production of extracellular polymeric substances responsible for biofilm formation in Congo red *** exhibited potential anti-biofilm activity against all tested bacterial *** anti-bacterial activity of methanolic extract was comparably higher in Salmonella typhii followed by Escherichia colt,Vibrio cholerae and Shigella *** overall percentage of increase was higher by 50.2%to ***:To conclude,anti-biofilm and anti-bacterial efficacy of *** is impressive over biofilm producing pathogens and are good source for novel anti-bacterial compounds.

In this study, we have demonstrated the conformational changes to DNA induced by abnormal interactions of copper using circular dichroism, in combination with UV-absorbance and fluorescence spectroscopy. Results confirm that binding of copper to bases of DNA in chromatin is concentration dependent. Binding efficiency of Cu2~ ions to DNA is increased in proportion to the degree of unwinding of the double helix induced by denaturation. Altered B-DNA conformation will alter the integrity of DNA which may affect the normal process of DNA replication and transcription. Copper induced DNA damage in the brain may cause neurotoxicity and the neuronal cell death and is implicated in Alzheimer＇s disease and other neurological disorders.

The development of urbanization and industrialization leads to rapid depletion of fossil ***,the production of fuel from renewable resources is highly *** energy conversion and storage is a benign technique with reliable output and is *** an exceptional electrochemical catalyst with tunable properties like a huge specific surface area,porous channels,and abundant active sites is critical ***,metal-organic frameworks(mOFs)and two-dimensional(2D)transition-metal carbides/nitrides(mXenes)have been extensively investigated in the field of electrochemical energy conversion and ***,advances in the research on mOFs are hampered by their limited structural stability and conventionally low electrical conductivity,whereas the practical electrochemical performance of mXenes is impeded by their low porosity,inadequate redox sites,and ***,researchers have been designing mOF/mXene nanoarchitectures to overcome the limitations in electrochemical energy conversion and *** review explores the recent advances in mOF/mXene nanoarchitectures design strategies,tailoring their properties based on the morphologies(0D,1D,2D,and 3D),and broadening their future opportunities in electrochemical energy storage(batteries,supercapacitors)and catalytic energy conversion(HER,OER,and ORR).The intercalation of mOF in between the mXene layers in the nanoarchitectures functions synergistically to address the issues associated with bare mXene and mOF in the electrochemical energy storage and *** review gives a clear emphasis on the general aspects of mOF/mXene nanoarchitectures,and the future research perspectives,challenges of mOF/mXene design strategies and electrochemical applications are highlighted.

地点:进行痰抗酸菌镜检的指定镜检中心(DmC)和其他镜检中心(AmC),地区结核病中心(DTC)和参比实验室(RL)。目的:使用盲法 AFB 痰涂片对不知晓 AFB 镜检质控的结核病实验室高级督导员(STLS)和经过培训知晓质控的参比实验室(RL)的技术员进行结果评估,确定批量抽样痰涂片的可行性。方法:镜检中心(mC)的痰涂片送至地区结核病中心(DTC)和参比实验室;经过系统选择每个镜检中心每月送 20 个涂片;DmC 的 1547 张涂片和 AmC 的 726张涂片分别由DTC的STLS和RL的技术员进行检查,由第三者负责分析差别。结果:和 RL 的 1%相比,mC 实验室技术员和 DTC 的STLSs 之间的不符合率为 4.7%。STLSs 与 RL 实验室技术员各有 70 次和 2 次错误。结论:AFB 涂片的批量抽样在现场情况下是可行的。受过 AFB 涂片镜检质控培训的 RL 技术员对 mC 的评价比没有受过此训练的 STLSs 更有效。
