Understanding how different livestock species and breeds respond to consumption of brackish water could improve usage of this ***,Angora,Boer,and Spanish goat doelings and Dorper,Katahdin,and *** ewe lambs (6 animals per animal type[AT];initial age=296±2.1 days)consuming water with varying concentrations of minerals of a natural brackish water source (BR) and sodium chloride (NaCl;SL) were used to determine effects on water and feed intake,nutrient digestion,heat energy,methane emission,ruminal fluid conditions,and blood constituent *** were 6 simultaneous 6 (water treatments[WT])×6 (AT) Latin squares with 3-wk *** WT were fresh (FR),BR alone (100-BR),a similar total dissolved solids (TDS) concentration as 100-BR via NaCl addition to FR (100-SL),BR with concentrations of all minerals increased by approximately 50%(150-BR),a similar TDS level as 150-BR by NaCl addition to FR (150-SL),and a similar 150 TDS level achieved by addition of a 1:1 mixture of BR minerals and NaCl to 100-BR (150-BR/SL).Concentrations (mg/kg) in BR were 4928 TDS,85.9 bicarbonate,224.9 calcium,1175 chloride,60.5 magnesium,4.59 potassium,1387sodium,1962 sulfate,and 8.3 boron,and TDS in other WT were 209,5684,7508,8309,and 7319 mg/kg for FR,100-SL,150-BR,150-SL,and 150-BR/SL,*** were very few significant effects of WT or AT×WT interactions,although AT had numerous *** intake was affected by AT (P=0.02)and WT (P=0.04),with greater water intake for 150-SL than for FR,100-BR,100-SL,and *** matter intake among AT was lowest (P<0.05) for *** of organic matter and neutral detergent fiber and heat energy differed among AT (P<0.05),but nitrogen digestion and ruminal methane emission were similar among *** aldosterone concentration was higher (P<0.05) for FR than for other *** conclusion,all AT seemed resilient to these WT regardless of mineral source and concentrations,with TDS less than 8300 mg/kg,which did

本文重新解读了中古英语文学作品中手稿变体对句法和意义产生的效果。论文借用“事后性”(弗洛伊德称之为“延迟性”)这一心理分析概念,以《巴斯妇人的开场语》为个案,将变体视为一个双向时间结构。伯纳德·塞尔奎利尼在《对变体的赞美》(1989)中将变体描述为一种产生新句法结构的活动。异文追溯、重构了它嵌入其中的话语的句法。异文不是嵌入固定句法结构的替代词汇选择;它们应被视为动态组合,当它们在话语中出现时,会改变每个话语的结构,往前往后都起作用。因此,意义永远不会准时到达,而是总会延迟。

Objective:To evaluate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities of leaf extract of Melanthera scandens(***).Methods:The crude leaf extract(39-111 mg/kg)of *** was investigated for anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities using various experimental *** anti-inflammatory activity was investigated using carragenin,egg-albumin induced oedema models,while acetic acid,formalin-induced paw licking and thermal-induced pain models were used to evaluate the antinociceptive ***:The extract caused a significant(P<0.05-0.001)dose-dependent reduction of inflammation and pains induced by different agents ***:The leaf extract possesses anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects which may be mediated through the phytochemical constituents of the plant.

Mechanical stimulation of the scalp improves the extra-and intracranial blood circulation in humans and mice

Background:Scalp combing,as an ancient method of health care,has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese *** this method is considered to be beneficial for the blood circulation of the head,the underlying mechanisms remain ***:Both human participants and mice were used in this *** participants,the scalp was stimulated by combing continuously for 5 min,and the temperature was measured using infrared thermal imaging before and after *** mice,the temperature was determined before and at 5,15,and 30 min after a 5-min scalp mechanical stimulation(SMS).Additionally,the vasculature of the mice was labeled with retro-orbital fluorescein isothiocyanate-dextran injection,and the capillaries were observed directly under a confocal *** in vivo CLARITY imaging and the spectrofluorometric detection of evans Blue dye extravasation,the bloodebrain barrier permeability was ***:SMS increased the temperature of the left ear significantly in human(P=.0247)while can slightly increase the temperature of the right ear and the face without significant difference(P>.05).Moreover,SMS can significantly slow the decrease in the temperature of the external auditory canal at 5 min(P=.0153)and in body temperature at 15 min(P=.0295)after SMS whereas no significant difference in body temperature at 30 min(P>.05)compared with control ***,capillaries of the ear with a diameter of less than 8 mm were significantly dilated(P=.0006)following SMS and the number of dextran dots was higher at 15 min(P>.05)and 30 min(F=10.98,P=.037)after SMS intervention compared with control ***:Our study provides strong evidence to support the notion that scalp combing can improve extra-and intracranial blood circulation under healthy conditions.
