Deep ultraviolet(DUV)phototransistors are key integral of optoelectronics bearing a wide spectrum of applications in flame sensor,military detector,oil spill detection,biological sensor,and artificial intelligence *** order to further improve the responsivity of UV photodetectors based onβ-Ga_(2)O_(3),in present work,high-performanceβ-Ga_(2)O_(3) phototransistors with local back-gate structure were experimentally *** phototransistor shows excellent DUV photoelectrical performance with a high responsivity of 1.01×107 A/W,a high external quantum efficiency of 5.02×109%,a sensitive detectivity of 2.98×1015 Jones,and a fast rise time of 0.2 s under 250 nm ***,first-principles calculations reveal the decent stability ofβGa_(2)O_(3) nanosheet against oxidation and humidity without significant performance ***,the hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)/β-Ga_(2)O_(3) phototransistor can behave as a photonic synapse with ultralow power consumption of~9.6 fJ per spike,which shows its potential for neuromorphic computing tasks such as facial ***β-Ga_(2)O_(3) phototransistor will provide a perspective for the next generation optoelectrical systems.

Objective To investigate the optimal dosage of pirfenidone for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis induced by bleomycin in Wistar rats, and the alteration of expressions of transforming growth factor beta-1 （ TGF-β1 ）, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 （ TIMP-1 ）, and matrix metalloproteinase-13 （ MMP-13 ） in lung tissue. Methods Male Wistar rats were endotracheally instilled with bleomycin or normal saline. Pirfenidone （25-800 mg · kg^-l · d^-1 ）, dexamethasone （3 mg/kg）, or 1% carboxymethylcellulose sodium were given daily by feed 2 days before instillation of bleomycin. Groups T7 and T14 were fed pirfenidone 50 mg · kg^-1 · d^-1 at 7 days or 14 daYs after bleomycin instillation. Lungs were harvested at 28 days after bleomycin instillation. Patholological changes in luffg tissues were evaluated with HE staining. Lung collagen was stained by sirius red and measured by content of hydroxypro- line. Expression of proteins of TGF-β1 TIMP-1, and MMP-13 were detected by Western blotting. Results At doses of 25, 50, and 100 mg· kg^- 1 · d ^- 1, pirfenidone had significant anti-fibrotic effects for bleomy- cin-induced rat pulmonary fibrosis, and these effects were most significantly attenuated at the dosage of 50 mg · kg^-1 ·d^ -1（ HE： P 〈 0. 01, P 〈 0.01, and P = 0.064; sirius red： P 〈0.05, P 〈 0.01, and P 〈 0.05 ; hydroxyproline： P = 0.595, P 〈 0.01, and P = 0.976）. Pirfenidone at a dosage of 50 mg · kg^- l · d^-1 inhibited protein expression of TGF-131 and TIMP-1 in lung tissue in the early phase （0.79 and 0.75 times of control group）, but had no effect on ex- nr^eelnn nf MMP-13. Conclusion Low dose pirfenidone, especially at dosage of 50 mg · kg^-1 · d^-1, has significant anti-fibrotic effects on bleomycin-induced rat pulmonary fibrosis. Pirfenidone partially inhibits the enhancement of the expression of TGF-131 and TIMP-β1 in lung tissue.

The “greatest lake period” means that the lakes are in the stage of their maximum areas. As the paleo lake shorelines are widely distributed in the lake basins on the Tibetan Plateau, the lake areas during the “greatest lake period” may be inferred by the last highest lake shorelines. They are several, even tens times larger than that at present. According to the analyses of tens of lakes on the Plateau, most dating data fell into the range of 40-25 ka BP, some lasted to 20 ka BP. It was corresponded to the stage 3 of marine isotope and interstitial of last glaciation. The occurrence of maximum areas of lakes marked the very humid period on the Plateau and was also related to the stronger summer monsoon during that period.

Highly sensitive and selective hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)sensors based on hierarchical highly ordered SnO_(2) nanobowl branched ZnO nanowires(NWs)were synthesized via a sequential process combining hard template processing,atomic-layer deposition,and hydrothermal *** hierarchical sensing materials were prepared in situ on microelectromechanical systems,which are expected to achieve high-performance gas sensors with superior sensitivity,long-term stability and repeatability,as well as low power ***,the hierarchical nanobowl SnO_(2)@ZnO NW sensor displayed a high sensitivity of 6.24,a fast response and recovery speed(i.e.,14 s and 39 s,respectively),and an excellent selectivity when detecting 1 ppm H_(2)S at 250°C,whose rate of resistance change(i.e.,5.24)is 2.6 times higher than that of the pristine SnO_(2) nanobowl *** improved sensing performance could be attributed to the increased specific surface area,the formation of heterojunctions and homojunctions,as well as the additional reaction between ZnO and H_(2)S,which were confirmed by electrochemical characterization and band alignment ***,the well-structured hierarchical sensors maintained stable performance after a month,suggesting excellent stability and *** summary,such well-designed hierarchical highly ordered nanobowl SnO_(2)@ZnO NW gas sensors demonstrate favorable potential for enhanced sensitive and selective H_(2)S detection with long-term stability and repeatability.

The fluctuation of lake levels in Tibetan area may be well reflected by the landformevidences, especially the last highest lake levels. This, in a certain degree, is more suitable fordetermning the climatic humidity and aridity in macro scale compared with many other indicatorswhich are also sensitive to the sedimentary environmental change. According to the analyses of thelakes such as Tianshuihai Lake, Bangdag Co, Lungmu Co, Bangong Co, Serfing Co, Chabyer Caka,Qahan salt lake, Qinghai lake, the lake group in north-east Qiangtang and the lake group in southTibet. the authors thought that the lakes on the Tibetan Plateau generally appeared the high lakelevel during 40-25 ka BP. The plenty of water quantity may represent a special warm-humid stage inTibet area compared with the sub-warm-humid stage reflected by marine oxygen isotope ***, there may existed different driving factors to climatic changes between the high latitUde areasand middle-low latitude mountains.

●AIM:To develop a novel approach called the Autoacuity Tester,and to evaluate its validity,especially the sensitivity and specificity for detecting amblyopia.●METHODS:Children aged from 3 to 12 y(n=552)were enrolled in the *** validity of the Autoacuity Tester was evaluated by comparing it to the Tumbling E Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(ETDRS)acuity chart for school age children,and Lea Symbols and Teller acuity card(TAC)for preschool *** repeatability was assessed by coefficient of repeatability(COR).The sensitivity and specificity for detecting amblyopia were calculated.●RESULTS:The mean difference(95%limits of agreement)between the Autoacuity Tester and the ETDRS tests were-0.03(-0.24,0.19)logMAR for the school age *** preschool children,the mean difference was 0.04(-0.14,0.21)logMAR between the Autoacuity Tester and the TAC and 0.00(-0.17,0.18)logMAR between the Autoacuity Tester and the Lea *** the school age group,the COR was 0.20 logMAR for the Autoacuity Tester and 0.18 logMAR for the *** the preschool group,the COR was 0.13 logMAR for the Autoacuity Tester and 0.21 logMAR for *** Autoacuity Tester(88%)is more sensitive than TAC(72%)in detecting amblyopia(P=0.04),while had similar specificity(92%vs 90%,P=0.20).●CONCLUSION:The Autoacuity Tester provides a reliable alternative for assessing visual acuity,and offers advantage of higher testability and repeatability for preschool children.
