Pure cobalt(Co)thin films were fabricated by direct current magnetron sputtering,and the effects of sputtering power and pres-sure on the microstructure and electromagnetic properties of the films were *** the sputtering power increases from 15 to 60 W,the Co thin films transition from an amorphous to a polycrystalline state,accompanied by an increase in the intercrystal pore ***,the resistivity decreases from 276 to 99μΩ·cm,coercivity increases from 162 to 293 Oe,and in-plane magnetic aniso-tropy *** the sputtering pressure decreases from 1.6 to 0.2 Pa,grain size significantly increases,resistivity significantly de-creases,and the coercivity significantly increases(from 67 to 280 Oe),which can be attributed to the increase in defect ***-pondingly,a quantitative model for the coercivity of Co thin films was *** polycrystalline films sputtered under pressures of 0.2 and 0.4 Pa exhibit significant in-plane magnetic anisotropy,which is primarily attributable to increased microstress.

Topology optimization of heterogeneous structures can find significant use in a wide range of applications,and its fabrication has been made possible by recent advances in additive ***,the optimization procedure is computationally expensive,as each structural update requires the re-evaluation of the *** computational time is the major limiting factor in large-scale and complex structural *** this study,a convolutional neural network(CNN)model for predicting effective thermal conductivity inspired by the VGG networks is *** using 130,000 unique binary images,the model achieves high predictive ***,it shows a mean absolute percent error(MAPE)of 0.35%in testing when the thermal conductivity of the solid is ten times larger than the fluid,and when the thermal conductivities assigned are that of aluminum and water,the MAPE is 2.35%.The prediction time is 15 ms for a single image with 128×128 pixels,which is 3 to 5 orders of magnitude faster than a finite volume *** employed in topology optimization,the CNN retains a MAPE between 0.67%and 11.8%for different *** CNN model correctly predicts trends in effective thermal conductivity and improves the structure to close proximity of a theoretical maximum in all cases.

Fe-N-doped carbon materials(Fe-N-C)are promising candidates for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)relative to Pt-based catalysts in proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs).However,the intrinsic contributions of Fe-N_(4)moiety with different chemical/spin states(e.g.D1,D2,D3)to ORR are unclear since various states coexist *** the present work,Fe-N-C core-shell nanocatalyst with single lowspin Fe(Ⅱ)-N_(4)species(D1)is synthesized and identified with ex-situ ultralow temperature Mossbauer spectroscopy(T=1.6 K)that could essentially differentiate various Fe-N_(4)states and invisible Fe-O *** quantifying with CO-pulse chemisorption,site density and turnover frequency of Fe-N-C catalysts reach 2.4×10^(-9)site g^(-1)and 23 e site~(-1)s^(-1)during the ORR,***-wave potential(0.915V_(RHE))of the Fe-N-C catalyst is more positive(approximately 54 mV)than that of Pt/***,we observe that the performance of PEMFCs on Fe-N-C almost achieves the 2025 target of the US Department of Energy by demonstrating a current density of 1.037 A cm^(-2)combined with the peak power density of 0,685 W cm^(-2),suggesting the critical role of Fe(Ⅱ)-N_(4)site(D1).After 500 h of running,PEMFCs still deliver a power density of 1.26 W cm^(-2)at 1.0 bar H_(2)-O_(2),An unexpected rate-determining step is figured out by isotopic labelling experiment and theoretical *** work not only offers valuable insights regarding the intrinsic contribution of Fe-N_(4)with a single spin state to alkaline/acidic ORR,but also provides great opportunities for developing high-performance stable PEMFCs.

By employing metal oxides as oxygen carriers,chemical looping demonstrates its effectiveness in transferring oxygen between reduction and oxidation environments to partially oxidize fuels into syngas and convert CO_(2)into ***,niFe_(2_)O_(4)oxygen carriers have demonstrated remarkable efficiency in chemical looping CO_(2)***,the intricate process of atomic migration and evolution within the internal structure of bimetallic oxygen carriers during continuous high‐temperature redox cycling remains ***,the lack of a fundamental understanding of the complex ionic migration and oxygen transfer associated with energy conversion processes hampers the design of high‐performance oxygen ***,in this study,we employed in situ characterization techniques and theoretical calculations to investigate the ion migration behavior and structural evolution in the bulk of niFe_(2_)O_(4)oxygen carriers during H2 reduction and CO_(2)/lab air oxidation *** discovered that during the H2 reduction step,lattice oxygen rapidly migrates to vacancy layers to replenish consumed active oxygen species,while ni leaches from the material and migrates to the *** the CO_(2)splitting step,ni migrates toward the core of the bimetallic oxygen carrier,forming Fe–ni *** the air oxidation step,Fe–ni migrates outward,creating a hollow structure owing to the Kirkendall effect triggered by the swift transfer of lattice *** metal atom migration paths depend on the oxygen transfer *** discoveries highlight the significance of regulating the release–recovery rate of lattice oxygen to uphold the structures and reactivity of oxygen *** work offers a comprehensive understanding of the oxidation/reduction‐driven atomic interdiffusion behavior of bimetallic oxygen carriers.

Based on the optical engine,the ignition characteristics,combustion process and soot emission characteristics of diesel under different 2-Methylfuran(MF) atmospheres were investigated by high-speed photography and in-cylinder combustion analysis *** results show that at the same main injection timing,the ignition time of reactivity controlled compression ignition(RCCI) combustion mode is earlier than pure diesel combustion,and the ignition point is concentrated near the *** acts as a spark plug to ignite the mixture,but the flame develops slowly in the early stages and the pressure in the cylinder rises *** with pure diesel,RCCI combustion model has smaller peak values of in-cylinder pressure and heat release rate,shorter ignition delay period,earlier combustion phase and shorter combustion *** main spray time at 6℃A BTDC and 12℃A BTDC,with the increase of MF premixing ratio from 0 to 0.75,the peak cylinder pressure decreased by 19.6% and 26% *** addition,with the increase of the MF heat value ratio,the area of KL factor> 1.5 in the combustion chamber decreased and the space integral natural luminescence(SINL) peak value decreased by 48.37%,and the soot formation rate and yield decreased ***,when the MF heat value ratio was too large(75% of the total calorific value),the ignition delay period increased,and misfire occurred at the main injection timing of 0℃A *** RCCI mode of MF/diesel dual fuel has better stability,and better control effect can be obtained at different main inj ection timing.

With the widespread use of Internet of Things(IoT)technology in daily life and the considerable safety risks of falls for elderly individuals,research on IoT-based fall detection systems has gainedmuch *** paper proposes an IoT-based spatiotemporal data processing framework based on a depthwise separable convolution generative adversarial network using skip-connection(Skip-DSCGAN)for fall *** method uses spatiotemporal data from accelerometers and gyroscopes in inertial sensors as input data.A semisupervised learning approach is adopted to train the model using only activities of daily living(ADL)data,which can avoid data imbalance ***,a quantile-based approach is employed to determine the fall threshold,which makes the fall detection frameworkmore *** proposed fall detection framework is evaluated against four other generative adversarial network(GAN)models with superior anomaly detection performance using two fall public datasets(SisFall&MobiAct).The test results show that the proposed method achieves better results,reaching 96.93% and 92.75% accuracy on the above two test datasets,*** the same time,the proposed method also achieves satisfactory results in terms ofmodel size and inference delay time,making it suitable for deployment on wearable devices with limited *** addition,this paper also compares GAN-based semisupervised learning methods with supervised learning methods commonly used in fall *** clarifies the advantages of GAN-based semisupervised learning methods in fall detection.

Locust(Locusta migratoria)has a single striated muscle myosin heavy chain(Mhc)gene,which contains 5 clusters of alternative exclusive exons and 1 differently included penultimate *** alternative exons of Mhc gene encode 4 distinct regions in the myosin motor domain,that is,the N-terminal SH3-like domain,one lip of the nucleotide-binding pocket,the relay,and the ***,we investigated the role of the alternative regions on the motor function of locust muscle *** Sf9-baculovirus protein expression system,we expressed and purified 5 isoforms of the locust muscle myosin heavy meromyosin(HMM),including the major isoform in the thorax dorsal longitudinal flight muscle(FL1)and 4 isoforms expressed in the abdominal intersegmental muscle(AB1 to AB4).Among these 5 HMMs,FL1-HMM displayed the highest level of actin-activated adenosine triphosphatase(ATPase)activity(hereafter referred as ATPase activity).To identify the alternative region(s)responsible for the elevated ATPase activity of FL1-HMM,we produced a number of chimeras of FL1-HMM and *** with the relay of AB4-HMM(encoded by exon-14c)substantially decreased the ATPase activity of FL1-HMM,and conversely,the relay of FL1-HMM(encoded by exon-14a)enhanced the ATPase activity of *** showed that the exon-14a-encoded residues Gly474 and Asn509 are responsible for the elevated ATPase activity of *** results indicate that the alternative relay encoded by exon-14a/c play a key role in regulating the ATPase activity of FL1-HMM and AB4-HMM.

The intermittency of renewable energy generation,variability of load demand,and stochasticity of market price bring about direct challenges to optimal energy management of *** cope with these different forms of operation un-certainties,an imitation learning based real-time decision-mak-ing solution for microgrid economic dispatch is *** this solution,the optimal dispatch trajectories obtained by solv-ing the optimal problem using historical deterministic operation patterns are demonstrated as the expert samples for imitation *** improve the generalization performance of imita-tion learning and the expressive ability of uncertain variables,a hybrid model combining the unsupervised and supervised learn-ing is *** denoising autoencoder based unsupervised learning model is adopted to enhance the feature extraction of operation ***,the long short-term memory network based supervised learning model is used to efficiently characterize the mapping between the input space composed of the extracted operation patterns and system state variables and the output space composed of the optimal dispatch *** numerical simulation results demonstrate that under vari-ous operation uncertainties,the operation cost achieved by the proposed solution is close to the minimum theoretical *** with the traditional model predictive control method and basic clone imitation learning method,the operation cost of the proposed solution is reduced by 6.3%and 2.8%,respective-ly,overa test period of three months.
