Fast segmentation approach for SAR image based on simple Markov random field

Traditional image segmentation methods based on MRF converge slowly and require pre-defined weight. These disadvantages are addressed, and a fast segmentation approach based on simple Markov random field （MRF） for SAR image is proposed. The approach is firstly used to perform coarse segmentation in blocks. Then the image is modeled with simple MRF and adaptive variable weighting forms are applied in homogeneous and heterogeneous regions. As a result, the convergent speed is accelerated while the segmentation results in homogeneous regions and boarders are improved. Simulations with synthetic and real SAR images demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper described a novel method for the preconcentration of Pb（II） using microcrystalline triphenylmethane loaded with quinolin-8-olate prior to the determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Pb（II） could be enriched by controlling appropriate condition. The preconcentration factor could reach to 200 and the detection limit of Pb（II） was 0.074 μg/L. The recovery was in a range of 93.5-103% with relative standard deviation of 1.0-2.2%. The proposed method had been successfully applied to the determination of trace Pb（U） in various water samples with satisfactory result.

The brittleness and fracture behaviors of the sintered and the two-stage aged Dy-doped NdFeB magnets were studied by a unique method of acoustic emission testing and Vickers hardness indentation method in this paper.A detailed analysis on the crack propagation mechanism along the grain boundary of the main grain phase(Nd,Dy)_(2)Fe_(14)B was *** comparing the acoustic emission energy count value(E_(n))with the Vickers hardness indentation load(P),it is shown that there is a linear relationship between En and P for both the sintered and the two-stage aged Dy-doped NdFeB *** to the slope of En versus P linear lines,it can be found that the two-stage aged Dy-doped NdFeB magnet is more brittle than the sintered *** is due to that the Ndrich grain boundary phase of the two-stage aged Dy-doped NdFeB magnet is formed as thin film and uniformly distributes around the main grain phase,which plays a significant role in increasing the intrinsic coercive force of the magnet,but decreasing its interface binding ***,the resistance of crack propagation along the grain boundary decreases and the brittleness increases.

BACKGROUND:Penehyclidine is a newly developed anticholinergic *** aimed to investigate the role of penehyclidine in acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(OP)***:We searched the Pubmed,Cochrane library,EMBASE,Chinese national Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Biomedical literature(CBM)and Wanfang *** controlled trials(RCTs)recruiting acute OP patients were identifi ed for *** outcomes included cure rate,mortality rate,time to atropinization,time to 60%normal acetylcholinesterase(AchE)level,rate of intermediate syndrome(IMS)and rate of adverse drug reactions(ADR).RESULTS:Sixteen RCTs involving 1,334 patients were identifi *** with the atropineor penehyclidine-alone groups,atropine combined with penehyclidine significantly increased the cure rate(penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.97 vs.0.86,RR 1.13,95%CI[1.07–1.19];penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.93 vs.0.80,RR 1.08,95%CI[1.01–1.15])and reduced the mortality rate(penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.015 vs.0.11,RR 0.17,95%CI[0.06–0.49];penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.13 vs.0.08,RR 0.23,95%CI[0.04–1.28]).Atropine combined with penehyclidine in OP patients also helped reduce the time to atropinization and AchE recovery,the rate of IMS and the rate of *** with a single dose of atropine,a single dose of penehyclidine also signifi cantly elevated the cure rate,reduced times to atropinization,AchE recovery,and rate of ***:Atropine combined with penehyclidine benefi ts OP patients by enhancing the cure rate,mortality rate,time to atropinization,AchE recovery,IMS rate,total ADR and duration of *** combined with atropine is likely a better initial therapy for OP patients than atropine alone.

BACKGROUND:Septic cardiomyopathy(SCM)occurs in the early stage of sepsis and septic shock,which has implications for treatment strategies and ***,myocardial involvement in the early stages of sepsis is difficult to ***,we assess subclinical myocardial function using laboratory tests and speckle-tracking echocardiography(STE).METHODS:Emergency department patients diagnosed with sepsis or septic shock were included for *** with other causes of acute or pre-existing cardiac dysfunction were *** echocardiography(TTE),including conventional echocardiography and STE,were performed for all patients three hours after initial *** for laboratory tests were taken around the time of ***:Left ventricular functions of 60 patients were analyzed,including 21 septic shock patients and 39 sepsis *** was no significant difference in global longitudinal strain(GLS),global circumferential strain(GCS),or global radical strain(GRS)between patients with sepsis and septic shock(all with P>0.05).However,GLS and GCS were significantly less negative in patients with abnormal troponin levels or in patients with abnormal left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)values(all with Pnal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)(r=0.44,P=0.001)in sepsis and septic shock ***:Myocardial dysfunction,e.g.,lower LVEF or less negative GLS in patients with sepsis or septic shock,is more affected by myocardial *** could be incorporated into mainstream clinical practice as a supplementary LVEF parameter,especially for those with elevated troponin levels.

A new linearly-combined bi-exponential model for kinetic analysis of the isometric relaxation process of Bufo gastrocnemius under electric stimulation in vitro

There was a slow-relaxing tail of skeletal muscles in vitro upon the inhibition of Ca2+-pump by cyclopiazonic acid (CPA). Herein, a new linearly-combined bi-exponential model to resolve this slow-relaxing tail from the fast-relaxing phase was investigated for kinetic analysis of the isometric relaxation process of Bufo gastrocnemius in vitro, in comparison to the single exponential model and the classical bi-exponential model. During repetitive stimulations at a 2-s interval by square pulses of a 2-ms duration at 12 V direct currency (DC), the isometric tension of Bufo gastrocnemius was recorded at 100 Hz. The relaxation curve with tensions falling from 90% of the peak to the 15th datum before next stimulation was analyzed by three exponential models using a program in MATLAB 6.5. Both the goodness of fit and the distribution of the residuals for the best fitting sup- ported the comparable validity of this new bi-exponential model for kinetic analysis of the relaxation process of the control muscles. After CPA treatment, however, this new bi-exponential model showed an obvious statistical superiority for kinetic analysis of the muscle relaxation process, and it gave the estimated rest tension consistent to that by experimentation, whereas both the classical bi-exponential model and the single exponential model gave biased rest tensions. Moreover, after the treatment of muscles by CPA, both the single exponential model and the classical bi-exponential model yielded lowered relaxation rates, nevertheless, this new bi-exponential model had relaxation rates of negligible changes except much higher rest tensions. These results suggest that this novel linearly-combined bi-exponential model is desirable for kinetic analysis of the relaxation process of muscles with altered Ca2+-pumping activity.

A pair of new enantiomeric furoquinoline alkaloids,(±)-zanthonitidine A(1),together with nine known ones(2-10)were isolated from the radix of Zanthoxylum *** chemical structures were elucidated based on the extensive spectroscopic *** racemic mixture of 1 was separated by chiral column chromatography,and the absolute configurations of (+)-1 and(-)-1 were determined by the comparison of experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism *** activities of compounds 1-9 were evaluated,and compounds(+)-1,(-)-1,3,7 and 8 showed antibacterial activities against Bacillus subtilis,Enterococcus faecalis or Staphylococcus aureus.
