Land surface temperature(LST)is an important parameter in land surface *** the accuracy of LST retrieval over the entire Tibetan Plateau(TP)using satellite images with high spatial resolution is an important and essential issue for studies of climate change on the *** this study,a random forest regression(RFR)model based on different land cover types and an improved generalized single-channel(SC)algorithm based on linear regression(LR)were ***-scale LST products with a 30 m spatial resolution from 2006 to 2017 were derived by 109,978 Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus images and the application of the Google Earth *** between LST results obtained from different algorithms and in situ measurements from Tibetan observation and research platform showed that the root mean square errors of the LST results retrieved by the RFR and LR models were 1.890 and 2.767 K,respectively,which were smaller than that of the MODIS product(3.625 K)and the original SC method(5.836 K).

Lift-off and section characteristics at the interface of thermosonic bond are observed by using scanning electron microscope （KYKY2800） with EDS-test. Results show that the peeling underdeveloped bonds simulate atorns （or doughnut） with an unbonded central region and ridged peripheral region is bonded hardly, Inside roundness at flip chip bonding center are discovered. Bond strength is located between the severely ridged periphery and the non-adhering central area of the bond. For constant force and time, the ridged area of the bond pattern increases when more power is applied. For constant force and power, the ridged location of the bonded region moves closer to the bond center with time. Results of EDS-tests at Au-Al and Au-Ag interfaces show that Kirkendall diffusibility at Au-Ag interface occur and the diffusing speed of Au-atomic is faster than that of Ag, and that intermetallic compounds at Au-Al interface is generated possibly. And these would be helpful for further research about thermosonic bonding.

Eleven groups of wire bonding experiments are carried out on an experiment platform （restructured with a U3000 heavy aluminum wedge wire bonder）. Pure silicon aluminum wire （300 μm in diameter, 2.94-3.92 N in average pull force） and nickel coated aluminum substrates are used in the experiments. During the experiment process, only ultrasonic power rate parameter is changed and the other bonding parameters are kept as constant, The bonding force and time are 4.90 N and 100 ms respectively. After the bonding experiments, shear strength tests are carried out on the bonds as the bonding strength criterion. From those experiments and test results, some conclusions are obtained： In the small ultrasonic power rate conditions （about 20%-30%）, with the power increasing, the bonding strength enhances accordingly; However, in the large ultrasonic power rate conditions （about 45%-70%）, the bonding strength decreases accordingly and over bonding happens. Only when the ultrasonic power rate is in a moderate condition （about 35%-40%） can good and stabilized bonding strength be acquired.

Studies have found that a large number of inflammatory cells,P-selectin,and mature dendritic cells(DCs)are expressed in the damaged and shoulder parts of atherosclerotic plaque,which demonstrates that P-selectin and mature DCs participate in the immune inflammatory response leading to the development of ***,it is unclear how the above factors interact in this *** this study,we investigated the role of P-selectin and its receptor,P-selectin glycoprotein ligand(PSGL)-1 in atherosclerosis,with the finding that DC surface marker expression was consistently high in the P-selectin group while consistently low in the PGSL-1+DCs group,with CD40 and CD86 expressed by 3.84%and 2.05%for the *** highest expression of CD80,CD83,and MHC II was discovered in the DC group,at 7.49%,3.68%,and 8.98%,*** of this study are similar to those obtained previously by Ye et al.(2017),which showed larger atherosclerotic lesions in mice that received exogenous DCs,compared with those treated with *** this study,the greatest level of atherosclerosis,fibrosis,and lipid deposition was also seen in mice that received exogenous DCs.

Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(nCRT)and total rectal mesenteric excision are the main standards of treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer(LARC).Lymph node regression grade(LRG)is an indicator of prognosis and response to preoperative nCRT based on postsurgical metastatic lymph node *** histopathological findings in metastatic lymph nodes after nCRT include necrosis,hemorrhage,nodular fibrosis,foamy histiocytes,cystic cell reactions,areas of hyalinosis,residual cancer cells,and pools of mucin.A number of LRG systems designed to classify the amount of lymph node regression after nCRT is mainly concerned with the relationship between residual cancer cells and regressive fibrosis and with estimating the number of lymph nodes existing with residual cancer *** offers significant prognostic information,and in most cases,LRG after nCRT correlates with patient *** this review,we describe the systematic classification of LRG after nCRT,patient prognosis,the correlation with tumor regression grade,and the typical histopathological findings of lymph *** work may serve as a reference to help predict the clinical complete response and determine lymph node regression in patients based on preservation strategies,allowing for the formulation of more accurate treatment strategies for LARC patients,which has important clinical significance and scientific value.

Thrips: Pests of Concern to China and the United States

Thrips are among the most important agricultural pests globally because of the damage inflicted by their oviposition, feeding, and ability to transmit plant viruses. Because of their invasiveness, a number of pest species are common to both China and the United States and present significant challenges to growers of a wide range of crops in both countries. Among the pest thrips common to both countries are four of the major global thrips pests, Frankliniella occidentalis （Pergande）, Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood, Thrips palmi Karny, and Thrips tabaci Lindeman. This review addresses characteristics that enable thrips to be such damaging pests and how biological attributes of thrips create challenges for their management. Despite these challenges, a number of successful management tactics have been developed for various cropping systems. We discuss some of these tactics that have been developed, including the use of cultural controls, biological controls, and judicious use of insecticides that do not disrupt overall pest management programs. The exchange of this type of information will help to facilitate management of pest thrips, especially in regions where species have recently invaded. A prime example is F. occidentalis, the western flower thrips, which is native to the United States, but has recently invaded China. Therefore, management tactics developed in the United States can be adapted to China. Because further success in management of thrips requires a thorough understanding of thrips ecology, we discuss areas of future research and emphasize the importance of collaboration among different countries to enhance our overall understanding of the biology and ecology of thrips and to improve management programs for these widespread pests.
