The design of universal segments and deviation control of segment assembly are essential for robust and low-risk tunnel construction.A building information mode{2.ng(BIM)-based framework was proposed for parametric mode{2.ng,automatic assembly,and deviation control of universal ***,segment models of different levels of detail(LoDs)were built based on BIM visual programming language(VPL)for different project {2.fe ***,the geometric constraints,requirements,and procedures for parametric segment assembly were distilled to develop a program that combines a novel typesetting algorithm with a 3D path replanning *** is implemented by introducing a point indication matrix,characterizing segments by sides,and manipulating geometries in a ***,3D path replanning,with non-uniform rational B-sp{2.nes(NURBS)and arcs as basic shapes,was used to resolve unacceptable deviation situations after ***,the proposed framework was va{2.dated on a water diversion {2.ne and was found to be more effective and accurate than the previous method.

Powered by advanced information technology,more and more complex systems are exhibiting characteristics of the cyber-physical-social systems(CPSS).In this context,computational experiments method has emerged as a novel approach for the design,analysis,management,{2.,and integration of CPSS,which can realize the causal analysis of complex systems by means of“algorithmization”of“counterfactuals”.However,because CPSS involve human and social factors(e.g.,autonomy,initiative,and sociality),it is difficult for traditional design of experiment(DOE)methods to achieve the generative explanation of system *** address this challenge,this paper proposes an integrated approach to the design of computational experiments,incorporating three key modules:1)Descriptive module:Determining the influencing factors and response variables of the system by means of the modeling of an artificial society;2.Interpretative module:Selecting factorial experimental design solution to identify the relationship between influencing factors and macro phenomena;3)Predictive module:Building a meta-model that is equivalent to artificial society to explore its operating ***,a case study of crowd-sourcing platforms is presented to illustrate the application process and effectiveness of the proposed approach,which can reveal the social impact of algorithmic behavior on“rider race”.

Optical memory integrates the function of optical sensing in memory devices, remarkably promoting the interconnection between sensory and memory terminals. Silicon charge-coupled photodetectors and floating gate memory have been widely used in imaging and storage technologies, respectively. However,the heterogeneous integration of the two devices requires technological innovation and complex electrical connections. In this work, we adopt a three-dimensional layer stacking method to design a novel optical memory device. On the top of Si charge-coupled photodetectors, we successively deposit two-dimensional graphene,hexagonal boron nitride, and molybdenum disulfide as a floating gate layer, a tunneling layer, and a readout layer, respectively. By applying a gate bias on lightly doped Si, a deep depletion layer is formed with a high voltage potential drop. Under dark conditions, the depletion layer cannot be filled, and the electric field across the h-BN tunnel barrier is relatively small. Under light irradiation, the deep depletion layer is gradually filled, and the h-BN tunneling layer withstands the increasing electric field, resulting in charge storage in the floating gate layer. Based on this mechanism, the device exhibits a gate voltage-dependent operation mode, including an integrated optical sensing-memory mode and an electrically driven storage mode. Under moderate gate voltage, the device can effectively detect the optical information with varied intensity and store the optical information in the floating gate, displaying optically controlled memory characteristics. Our work demonstrates a compact device structure for optical memory and displays excellent optically controlled memory performance, which can be applied in artificial vision systems.

Causation promotes the understanding of correlation to an advanced stage by elucidating its underlying mechanism. Although statisticians have specified the possible causal relations among correlations,inferring causal structures is impossible from only the observed correlations in the classical world. Quantum correlations encapsulating the most defining aspects of quantum physics have taken a new turn for the causal inference problem — the two-point spatial and temporal quantum correlations with observationally discernible characteristics correspond exactly to the two most basic causal structures. However, a direct causal interpretation for quantum correlations has only been established in very limited cases. Here, we explore to what extent quantum correlations promote causal inference. Theoretically, we have found that the distinguishable causal regime of two-point Pauli correlations can be expanded from a single value to an asymmetric interval, and the causal structures determining the quantum correlations can be interpreted by a simple distance criterion. Experimentally, we have devised and implemented a versatile non-unital quantum channel in an optical architecture to directly observe such an asymmetric interval. The setup enabled quantum causal inference without any requirement of active intervention, which is impossible in the classical realm. Our work facilitates the identification of causal links among quantum variables and provides insight into characterizing causation and spatial-temporal correlation in quantum mechanics.

Early insulin therapy is capable to achieve glycemic control and restoreβ-cell function in newly diagnosed type 2.diabetes(T2.),but its effect on cardiovascular outcomes in these patients remains *** this nationwide real-world study,we analyzed electronic health record data from 19 medical centers across{2. between 1 January 2.00,and 2. May *** included 542. eligible patients(mean age 56 years,2.76 women/32.8 men)who were diagnosed T2. within six months and did not have prior cardiovascular *** Cox regression models were used to estimate the associations of early insulin therapy(defined as the first-line therapy for at least two weeks in newly diagnosed T2. patients)with the incidence of major cardiovascular events including coronary heart disease(CHD),stroke,and hospitalization for heart failure(HF).During 17,158 persons years of observation,we documented 834 incident CHD cases,719 stroke cases,and 2.0 hospitalized cases for *** diagnosed T2. patients who received early insulin therapy,compared with those who did not receive such treatment,had 31%lower risk of incident stroke,and 2.%lower risk of hospitalization for *** significant difference in the risk of CHD was *** found similar results when repeating the aforesaid analysis in a propensity-score matched population of 4578 patients and with inverse probability of treatment weighting *** findings suggest that early insulin therapy in newly diagnosed T2. may have cardiovascular benefits by reducing the risk of incident stroke and hospitalization for HF.

Growing evidence suggests that exercise can provide neuroprotection by improving mitochondrial quality control (MQC) on the aged brain. Adenosine 5'-monophosphate (AMP)-activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling responsiveness declines with aging. However， whether AMPK plays a role in the exercise-mediated improvement of memory and MQC in the aged hippocampus remains to be established. AICAR (5-Aminoimidazole 4-carboxamide ribonucleoside)， a pharmacological agonist of AMPK， has been proposed to be an exercise mimetic recently. However， it has not been clarified whether AICAR could mimic the effects of exercise on the aged hippocampus through improvement of MQC. In this study， AICAR (AMPK agonist) and Compound C (AMPK inhibitor) were used to investigate if AMPK plays a key role in exercise-induced improvement of MQC and if AICAR could act as an exercise mimetic through improvement of MQC in aged hippocampus. Both exercise and AICAR improved the memory of aged mice and increased AMPK phosphorylation in the aged hippocampus. Exercise， but not AICAR， improved mitochondrial respiratory function in the aged hippocampus and increased the Microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) II/LC3 I ratio and the protein expression of LC3 II and Autophagy Related Protein 7 (ATG7) in the lysate of whole hippocampal tissue. Both exercise and AICAR increased the ratio of LC3 II/LC3 I and the protein expression of LC3 II in the mitochondrial fractions of the hippocampus. Regarding mitochondrial dynamics， neither exercise training nor AICAR changed the protein level of Mitofusin2.(Mfn2.. Exercise， but not AICAR， increased the protein level of Dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1). Furthermore， both exercise training and AICAR increased the protein level of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1α (PGC-1α)， a modulator of mitochondrial biogenesis.
