Rules of Meridians and Acupoints Selection in Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease Based on Data Mining Techniques

Objective:To help selecting appropriate meridians and acupoints in clinical practice and experimental study for Parkinson’s disease(PD),the rules of meridians and acupoints selection of acupuncture and moxibustion were analyzed in domestic and foreign clinical treatment for PD based on data mining ***:literature about PD treated by acupuncture and moxibustion in China and abroad was searched and selected from China National Knowledge Infrastructure and *** the data from all eligible articles were extracted to establish the database of acupuncture-moxibustion for *** association rules of data mining techniques were used to analyze the rules of meridians and acupoints ***:Totally,168 eligible articles were included and 184 acupoints were *** total frequency of acupoints application was 1,090 *** acupoints were mainly distributed in head and neck and *** all,Taichong(LR 3),Baihui(DU 20),Fengchi(GB 20),Hegu(li 4)and Chorea-tremor Controlled Zone were the top five acupoints that had been ***-inferior acupoints matching was utilized the *** to involved meridians,Du Meridian,Dan(Gallbladder)Meridian,Dachang(Large Intestine)Meridian,and Gan(liver)Meridian were the most popular ***:The application of meridians and acupoints for PD treatment lay emphasis on the acupoints on the head,attach importance to extinguishing Gan wind,tonifying qi and blood,and nourishing sinews,and make good use of superior-inferior acupoints matching.

Preparation of high-strength Al-Mg-Si-Cu-Fe alloy via heat treatment and rolling

An Al-Mg-Si-Cu-Fe alloy was solid-solution treated at 560℃ for 3 h and then cooled by water quenching or furnace cooling. The alloy samples which underwent cooling by these two methods were rolled at different temperatures. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the rolled alloys were investigated by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, and tensile testing. For the water-quenched alloys, the peak tensile strength and elongation occurred at a rolling temperature of 180℃. For the furnace-cooled alloys, the tensile strength decreased initially, until the rolling temperature of 420℃, and then increased;the elongation increased consistently with increasing rolling temperature. The effects of grain boundary hardening and dislocation hardening on the mechanical properties of these rolled alloys decreased with increases in rolling temperature. The mechanical properties of the 180℃ rolling water-quenched alloy were also improved by the presence ofβ″phase. Above 420℃, the effect of solid-solution hardening on the mechanical properties of the rolled alloys increased with increases in rolling temperature.

Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of cisatracurium in children undergoing cleft lip or cleft palate repair surgery

OBJECTIVE The aim of the study was to characterize the pharmacokinetics(PK) and pharmacodynamics(PD) profile of cisatracurium in 0-2 years and 2-5 years old children patients with cheilopalatognathus,to find if there are some connections between the different muscle relaxation action and different PK *** 14 children patients were divided into two groups,≤2 years and 2-5 years group,venous samples were taken before injection of a 0.15 mg·kg-1 dose of cisatracurium and then at 2,5,10,30,60,90,and 120 *** plasma concentrations were determined by ultra-performance liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization/triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer system(UPLC/MS/MS).The degree of neuromuscular block was measured by train of four(TOF) *** indirect PK-PD link model with a sigmoid E max model was established using Win Nonlin *** model were applied to PK and PD data analysis,*** The TOF monitor parameters showed that cisatracurium works very quickly,the onset time were(2.64±0.93) min and(2.59 ± 0.90) min for ≤2 years and 2-5 years group *** children ≤2 years have longer muscle blocking duration time(62.5 ± 6.01 min vs 53.86 ± 12.18 min) and slower recovery index(32.14±7.10 min and 27.43±10.63 min) than those children in group of 2-5 *** children ≤2 years have postoperative complication than that in 2-5 *** parameters showed that there were no statistical differences in blood concentration and pharmacokinetic *** the concentration of cisatracurium in muscle site calculated by using PK/PD model were higher and longer for ≤2 year children than that of 2-5 year *** means that cisatracurium could stay at high concentration for a longer time in younger children' muscle *** As a result young children tend to have postoperative complications related to slower muscle recovery action and increased concentration in skeletal *** more careful observat

Cystic duct dilation through endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for treatment of gallstones and choledocholithiasis: Six case reports and review of literature

BACKGROUND Choledocholithiasis removal via endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)then followed by laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)has gradually become the principal method in the treatment of gallstones and *** use ERCP through the cystic duct to treat gallstones combined with choledocholithiasis,with the aim to preserve the normal function of the gallbladder while simultaneously decreasing risk of biliary tract *** SUMMARY A total of six cases of patients diagnosed with gallstones and choledocholithiasis were treated with *** efficacy was evaluated via operation success rate,calculus removal rate,postoperative hospital stay and average hospitalization costs;the safety was evaluated through perioperative complication probability,gallbladder function detection and gallstones *** calculus removal rate reached 100%,and patients had mild adverse events,including 1 case of postoperative acute cholecystitis and another of increased blood urinary amylase;both were relieved after corresponding treatment,the remaining cases had no *** average hospital stay and hospitalization costs were 6.16±1.47 d and 5194±696 *** 3-11 mo follow-up revealed that gallbladder contracted well,without recurrence of *** This is the first batch of case reports for the treatment of gallstones and choledocholithiasis through ERCP approached by natural *** results and effects of six reported cases proved that the new strategy is safe and feasible and is worthy of further exploration and application.

A multipath routing protocol for wireless sensor network for mine security monitoring

Underground mining is a hazardous industrial activity. In order to provide a safe working environment for miners, a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) technology has been used for security monitoring. It can provide a wide range of surveillance with a relatively low cost. In this study, an Energy-Based Multipath Routing (EBMR) protocol is proposed, which considers residual energy capacity and link quality in choosing hops and routing paths. Hops and paths with a high residual energy capacity and link quality will have the best chance to be selected to transmit data packages. Since the EBMR stores several routes in the routing table, when the current path fails, another path will be chosen to fulfill the task immediately. In this way, EBMR improves reliability and decrease time latency. Compared to AOMDV and REAR, EBMR decreases time latency by 51% and 12%.

Comparison of intravitreal aflibercept and dexamethasone implant in the treatment of macular edema associated with diabetic retinopathy or retinal vein occlusion:a Meta-analysis and systematic review

·AIM:To compare the efficacy and safety of intravitreal aflibercept with dexamethasone implant in the treatment of macular edema(ME)associated with diabetic retinopathy(DR)or retinal vein occlusion(RVO).·METHODS:A comprehensive search of studies comparing dexamethasone and aflibercept in patients with ME was conducted at PubMed,Embase,and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials from the beginning of library to April 16,*** the data including bestcorrected visual acuity(BCVA),central retinal thickness(CRT),number of injections and serious adverse events(SAEs)from the final qualified *** 5.3 software was used for Meta-analysis of the included studies.·RESULTS:Totally 7 studies with 369 eyes were *** causes of ME in the final screening study included RVO and *** with the aflibercept treatment group,the BCVA of the dexamethasone implant treatment group showed no significant difference in the follow-up for 3 mo[mean difference(MD):-0.05,95%confidence interval(CI):-0.11,0.02;P=0.17]and 12 mo(MD:-0.01,95%CI:-0.38,0.37;P=0.98),but it was slightly worse than the aflibercept group at 6 mo(MD:0.12.95%CI:0.03,0.21;P=0.008).In terms of CRT reduction,there was no significant difference between the two groups at 3 mo(MD:-28.14,95%CI:-79.95,23.67;P=0.29),6 mo(MD:27.67,95%CI:-84.89,140.24;P=0.63),and 12 mo(MD:-59.00,95%CI:-127.37,9.37;P=0.09).However,dexamethasone implant had fewer injections,but more adverse events such as elevated intraocular pressure(IOP)and cataract.·CONCLUSION:Intravitreal injection of aflibercept and dexamethasone implant can both effectively increase BCVA and reduce *** with aflibercept,dexamethasone implant is not inferior in improving vision and reducing CRT in the initial treatment period(3 mo)and long-term treatment period(12 mo).Besides,it has fewer injections and more likely to cause elevated IOP and cataract.

High-mobility group box 1 protein and its role in severe acute pancreatitis

The high mobility group box 1(HMGB1),which belongs to the subfamily of HMG-1/-2,is a highly conserved single peptide chain consisting of 215 amino acid residues with a molecular weight of approximately 24894 ***1 is a ubiquitous nuclear protein in mammals and plays a vital role in inflammatory *** pancreatitis is one of the most common causes of acute abdominal pain with a poor *** pancreatitis is an acute inflammatory process of the pancreas(duration of less than six months),for which the severe form is called severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).More and more studies have shown that HMGB1 has a bidirectional effect in the pathogenesis of *** HMGB1 can aggravate the pancreatic inflammatory process,whereas intracellular HMGB1 has a protective effect against *** mechanism of HMGB1 is multiple,mainly through the nuclear factor-κB *** for advanced glycation endproducts and toll-like receptors(TLR),especially TLR-2 and TLR-4,are two major types of receptors mediating the inflammatory process triggered by HMGB1 and may be also the main mediators in the pathogenesis of ***1 inhibitors,such as ethyl pyruvate,pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate and Scolopendra subspinipes mutilans,can decrease the level of extracellular HMGB1 and are the promising targets in the treatment of SAP.

Features of the new climate normal 1991-2020 and possible influences on climate monitoring and prediction in China

An update on the climate norms each decade is recommended by the World Meteorological Organization(WMO)partly to keep pace with conditions as climate changes over *** accordance with such update,this study documents the features of the new climate normal defined for 1991-2020 and its impacts on climate monitoring and prediction in *** on-site observation and model prediction datasets,our analysis reveals that the new normal of national average precipitation of China during winter and summer is respectively 3.0 and 10.8 mm higher than that of the period *** a result,precipitation observations during 1961-2020 consistently fall below the new *** adjustment of thresholds for precipitation extremes with new climate normals results in a decrease of extreme precipitation occurrence by 0.2-0.8 d on average over the winter and summer seasons during ***,the application of new climate normals induces more pronounced negative temperature anomalies across most areas of *** adjustments of extreme temperature thresholds have led to an increased occurrence of extremely cold days by 1-2 d on average over 1961-2020,while the frequency of extremely hot days decreases by more than 1.4 ***,it is implied that with the development of global warming,the baselines for temperature and precipitation are *** application of the new climate normal may result in the omission of relative threshold based extreme events,promoting increased focus on climate risk reduction ***,the average anomaly sign consistency rates(Pcs)of precipitation and temperature anomaly predictions,relative to the new normal and produced by the Beijing Climate Center,are consistently lower than those relative to the old *** decrease in Pcs implies new challenges for climate prediction,especially for temperature prediction.
