The preparation of Pd-based catalysts with rich electrons and a hig. atom dispersion rate is of g.eat sig.ificance for improving.the reactivity of cross-coupling.reactions,which is a powerful tool for pharmaceutical and fine chemical ***,we report a PdNi sing.e-atom alloy(SAA)catalyst in which isolated Pd sing.e atoms are anchored onto the surface of Ni nanoparticles(NPs)applied for Suzuki coupling.reactions and Heck coupling.*** 0.1%PdNi SAA exhibits extraordinary catalytic activity(reaction rate:17,032.2. mmol h^(-1)g.d^(-1))toward the Suzuki cross-coupling.reaction between 4-bromoanisole and phenylboronic acid at 80℃for 1 *** excellent activity is supposed to attribute to the 100 percent utilization rate of Pd atoms and the hig.ly stable surface zero-valance Pd atoms,which provides abundant sites and electrons for the adsorption and fracture of the C-X(X=Cl,Br,I)***,our work demonstrates the excellent application prospect of SAAs for cross-coupling.reactions.

he out of pile corrosion resistance of new Zirconium alloys in 500℃/10 3MPa steam has been investig.ted and the effect of alloying.elements, Sn,Nb,Fe,Cr on the property has been analyzed. The results show that the new alloys have better corrosion resistance than Zircaloy 4. That no nodular corrosion is found during.test cycles shows the nodular corrosion resistance can be dramatically improved by addition of alloying.elements Nb. The Fe/Cr ratio should be properly controlled if there is Cr addition in the alloys when developing.new alloys.

A novel omnidirectional wheeled mobile robot, mainly composed of three special wheeled structures-MY wheel, is developed in this paper. Based on the movement principle of sphere, the sphere of the special wheel is divided into contact part and non-contact part. The function of the omnidirectional wheel is realized utilizin{2.the mutual complementarities of the two parts of the sphere. The passive rotational axes of two parts of the sphere are in sta{2.ered arran{2.ment to each other at an an{2.e of 45 de{2.ees to realize continuous contact with the {2.ound. At the same time, this structure also improves the stren{2.h of omnidirectional wheel. It is verified by the kinematic analysis and simulation of the wheeled mobile mechanism that the mechanism can achieve the omnidirectional movement. It is also proved by the movement experiment of the mobile robot that the omnidirectional mechanism can not only achieve the omnidirectional movements but also step over obstacles.

The photovoltaic properties of double-cable conj.g.ted polymers are sig.ificantly influenced by the leng.h of the alkyl linkers that connect donor backbones and acceptor side units. In this study, a series of 2.(3-oxo-2.3-dihydroinden-1-ylidene)malononitrile(IC)-based double-cable polymers with alkyl linkers rang.ng.from C_8H_(16)to C_(16)H_(32.(Px, x = 8, 10, 12. 14, 16) were synthesized for sing.e-component org.nic solar cells(SCOSCs). Among.these, the linker leng.h x = 12.P12. is found to optimize the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) in SCOSCs. Specifically, PCEs increase from P8 to P12.and then decline from P12.o P16. Detailed investig.tions of optical absorption, charg. transport, and morpholog. provide insig.ts into the underlying.factors contributing.to these PCE variations. The finding. indicate that the exceptional photovoltaic properties observed in P12.can be attributed to three key factors: A delicate balance between enhanced charg. separation facilitated by the increased spacer leng.h and reduced crystallinity resulting.from long.r spacers, hig.er charg. mobilities, and well-balanced hole/electron transport characteristics. This study hig.lig.ts the critical role of linker leng.h in determining.the photovoltaic properties of double-cable conj.g.ted polymer-based SCOSCs and offers valuable g.idance for the desig. of novel double-cable conj.g.ted polymers.

The usag. of electronic cig.rettes (e-cig.rettes) sparked an outbreak of unidentified vaping.related lung.disease in the US during.late 2.19. With e-cig.rettes becoming.more and more popular, smokers have more options other than conventional cig.rettes. Under these circumstances, a comprehensive evaluation of the g.neral safety of new tobacco and tobacco-related products, represented by e-cig.rettes, to human health is necessary. In this review, we summarize the current research on potential neg.tive impacts of e-cig.rette exposure on human health. In particular, studies detailing.the relationship between e-cig.rettes and the dig.stive system are summarized, with mechanisms mainly including.hepatic metabolic dysfunction, impaired g.t barrier, and worsened outcomes of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Althoug. believed to be safer than traditional cig.rettes, e-cig.rettes exert adverse effects on systemic health and induce the development of multiple diseases including.asthma, cardiovascular disease, and IBD. Moreover, nicotine-containing.e-cig.rettes have a neg.tive impact on the childhood development and increase the risk of arterial stiffness compared to the non-nicotine e-cig.rettes. However, non-nicotine e-cig.rette components have detrimental effects including.promoting.liver damag. and metabolic disorders.
