Background:The effects of acupuncture have varied in different randomized controlled trials(RCTs),and there are many factors that influence treatment effect of acupuncture in different outcomes,with conflicting ***:To identify factors and their impact on the treatment effect of acupuncture in different ***:Acupuncture RCTs were searched from 7 databases including Medline(Pub Med),Embase,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,VIP Database,and China Biology Medicine disc between January 1st,2015 and December 31st,*** studies must compare acupuncture to no acupuncture,sham acupuncture,or waiting lists,and report at least 1patient-important outcome.A multi-level meta-regression was conducted using a 3-level robust mixed model and univariate analyses were performed for all independent variables,even those excluded from the multivariable model due to *** used thresholds of 0.2 and 0.4 for the difference of standardized mean differences(SMDs),categorising them as small(0.4) ***:The pain construct analysis involved 211 effect estimates from 153 studies and 14 independent ***-frequency acupuncture treatment sessions produced larger effects compared to low-frequency sessions [large magnitude,the difference of adjusted SMDs 0.46,95% confidence interval(CI) 0.07 to 0.84;P=0.02].The non-pain symptoms construct analysis comprised 323 effect estimates from 231 studies and 15 independent *** acupuncture showed moderately larger effects when compared to non-penetrating acupuncture(0.30,95% CI 0.06 to 0.53;P=0.01).The function construct analysis included 495 effect estimates from 274 studies and 14 independent *** acupuncture and the flexible acupuncture regimen showed moderately larger effects,compared to non-penetrating acupuncture and fixed regimen,respectively(0.40,95% CI 0

A series of novel 1-substituted phenyl or glycosyl 1,2,3-triazoles was designed and synthesized by azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cyeloaddition between 4,6-dimethoxy-2-[（4-prop-2-ynyl）piperazin-l-yl]pyrimidine and each of different azides catalysed by in situ generated Cu（I）. The O-acyl protecting groups on glycosyl 1,2,3-triazoles were removed by triethylamine in wet methanol. Their chemical structures were established on the basis of corresponding tH NMR, 13C NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The fungicidal activities of target compounds were evaluated in vitro against Fusarium omysporum, Physalospora piricola, Alternaria solani, Phytophthora capsici, Cercospora arachi- dicola and Gibberella zeae at 50 μg/mL. The bioassay results indicate that some of the compounds exhibited mode- rate but promising fungicidal activities. In particular, acetylated glucopyranosyl triazole displayed a good fungicidal activity against Physalospora piricola, which is equal to that of the positive control compound chlorothalonil.

A flow injection procedure for the determination of calf thymus DMA （CT DNA） over the range 2.1x10-6;.1x10-1 B.g mL-1 is described, based on measurement of the enhanced chemiluminescence emission of rhodamine B-Ce（IV） system, activated by imidazole-HCl buffer solution. This method is highly sensitive, with the linearity range broadened to five orders of magnitude. It has been applied to determine CT DNA in synthetic sample with satisfactory results.

Common or bread wheat ( Triticum aestivum L., AABBDD, 2n=42) originated ca. 8 000 years ago from hybridization of tetraploid wheat ( Triticum turgidum L., AABB, 2n=28) and diploid Aegilops tauschii Coss. (DD, 2n=14). An essential prerequisite for this evolutionary step is that the natural hybrids between tetraploid wheat and diploid Aegilops tauschii can produce relatively many filled seeds which germinated well. In this study, without special techniques, e.g. immature embryo culture, out of 22 Ae. tauschii accessions, the genotype AS60 produced relatively many filled seeds which germinated well. The seed germination percentages in the crosses of Ae. tauschii ×tetraploid wheat, tetraploid wheat× Ae. tauschii and Ae. tauschii ×common wheat were, respectively, 50.0%, 57.1% and 45.5%. It seems that Ae. tauschii accession AS60 has a unique genotype which facilitate hybrid seed development and viability, and which meets with the prerequisite for wheat evolutionary. Furthermore, the significance of this finding for common wheat improvement and evolution was discussed.

AIM: To evaluate the protective effects of lipoic acid-niacin(N2 L) dimers against blue light(BL)-induced oxidative damage to human retinal pigment epithelium(hRPE) cells in ***: h RPE cells were divided into a control group(CG), a BL group, an N2 L plus BL irradiation group, an α-lipoic acid(ALA) plus BL group, an ALA-only group, and an N2 L-only group. hRPE cellular viability was detected by performing 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium(MTT) bromide assays, and apoptosis was evaluated by annexin-V-PE/7-AAD staining followed by flow cytometry. Ultrastructural changes in subcellular organelles were observed by transmission electron microscopy. Reactive oxygen species formation was assayed by flow cytometry. The expression levels of the apoptosis-related proteins BCL-2 associated X protein(BAX), B-cell leukmia/lymphoma 2(BCL-2), and caspase-3 were quantified by Western blot ***: BL exposure with a light density of 4±0.5 mW/cm2 exceeding 6 h caused hRPE toxicity, whereas treatment with a high dose of N2 L(100 mol/L) or ALA(150 mol/L) maintained cell viability at control levels. BL exposure caused vacuole-like degeneration, mitochondrial swelling, and reduced microvillus formation;however, a high dose of N2 L or ALA maintained the ultrastructure of hRPE cells and their organelles. High doses of N2 L and ALA also protected hRPE cells from BL-induced apoptosis, which was confirmed by Western blot analysis: BCL-2 expression significantly increased, while BAX and caspase-3 expression slightly decreased compared to the ***: High-dose N2 L treatment(>100 mol/L) can reduce oxidative damage in degenerating hRPE cells exposed to BL with an efficacy similar to ALA.

Interleukin-37b(hereafter called IL-37)was identified as fundamental inhibitor of natural and acquired *** molecular mechanism and function of IL-37 in colorectal cancer(CRC)has been ***,we found that IL-37 transgenic(IL-37tg)mice were highly susceptible to colitis-associated colorectal cancer(CAC)and suffered from dramatically increased tumor burdens in ***,IL-37 is dispensable for intestinal mutagenesis,and CRC cell proliferation,apoptosis,and ***,IL-37 dampened protective cytotoxic T cell-mediated immunity in CAC and B16-OVA ***8^(+)T cell dysfunction is defined by reduced retention and activation as well as failure to proliferate and produce cytotoxic cytokines in IL-37tg mice,enabling tumor evasion of immune *** dysfunction led by IL-37 antagonizes IL-18–induced proliferation and effector function of CD8+T cells,which was dependent on SIGIRR(single immunoglobulin interleukin-1 receptor-related protein).Finally,we observed that IL-37 levels were significantly increased in CRC patients,and positively correlated with serum CRC biomarker CEA levels,but negatively correlated with the CD8+T cell infiltration in CRC *** findings highlight the role of IL-37 in harnessing antitumor immunity by inactivation of cytotoxic T cells and establish a new defined inhibitory factor IL-37/SIGIRR in cancerimmunity cycle as therapeutic targets in CRC.
