Dehydration melting of metasupracrustal rocks at mid-to deep-crustal levels can generate water undersaturated granitic *** this study,we evaluate the potential of~1.89–1.88 Ga metasupracrustal rocks of the Precambrian of southern Finland as source rocks for the 1.86–1.79 Ga late-orogenic leucogranites in the region,using the Rhyolite-mELTS *** close in composition to leucogranite is produced over a range of realistic pressures(5 to 8 kbar)and temperatures(800 to 850℃),at 20%–30%of partial melting,allowing separation of melt from unmelted *** solid residue is a dry,enderbitic to charnoenderbitic ganulite depleted in incompatible components,and will only yield further melt above 1000–1050℃,when rapidly increasing fractions of increasingly calcic(granodioritic to tonalitic)melts are *** solid residue after melt extraction is incapable of producing syenogranitic magmas similar to the mid-Proterozoic,A-type rapakivi granites on further *** granitic fraction of the syenogranitic rapakivi complexes must thus have been formed by a different chain of processes,involving mantle-derived mafic melts and melts from crustal rock types not conditioned by the preceding late-orogenic Svecofennian anatexis.

Transforming growth factor beta(TGFβ)is a pleiotropic cytokine with functions related to angiogenesis,tumor suppression,and immune tolerance[1].TGFβis involved in tumor immune escape and is a target for cancer immune therapy[1].We have reported that healthy donors and cancer patients harbor CD8^(+)cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)that are specific to TGFβ-derived epitopes and that these CD8^(+)CTLs kill malignant myeloid cells in a TGFβ-dependent manner[2].

We propose a new two-phase method for reconstruction of blurred im-ages corrupted by impulse *** the first phase,we use a noise detector to iden-tify the pixels that are contaminated by noise,and then,in the second phase,we reconstruct the noisy pixels by solving an equality constrained total variation mini-mization problem that preserves the exact values of the noise-free *** images that are only corrupted by impulse noise(i.e.,not blurred)we apply the semismooth Newton’s method to a reduced problem,and if the images are also blurred,we solve the equality constrained reconstruction problem using a first-order primal-dual *** proposed model improves the computational efficiency(in the denoising case)and has the advantage of being regularization *** numerical results suggest that the method is competitive in terms of its restoration capabilities with respect to the other two-phase methods.

The weak-coupling expansion for thermodynamic quantities in thermal field theories is poorly convergent unless the coupling constant is *** discuss the calculation of the free energy for a hot gas of electrons and photons to three-loop order using hard-thermal-loop perturbation theory （HTLpt）.We show that the hard-thermal-loop perturbation reorganization improves the convergence of the successive approximations to the QED free energy at large coupling,e ～ *** reorganization is gauge invariant by construction,and due to the cancellations among various contributions,we obtain a completely analytic result for the resummed thermodynamic potential at three loops.

Infantile hemangiomas(IHs)are the most prevalent benign vascular tumor in children,with an estimated rate of 5-10%.most IHs resolve spontaneously after the proliferation stage,but about 12-24%develop with sequelae and complications which require pharmacological interventions[1].The beta blocker propranolol is considered as the first-line treatment for complicated cases of IHs[2].

AIm:To test the efficacy and safety of Profermin in inducing remission in patients with active ulcerative colitis(UC).mETHODS:The study included 39 patients with mild to moderate UC defined as a Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index(SCCAI)>4 andmedian:7.5),who were treated open-label with Profermintwice daily for 24 *** SCCAI was reported observer blinded via the ***:In an intention to treat(ITT)analysis,the mean reduction in SCCAI score was 56.5%.Of the 39 patients,24(62%)reached the primary endpoint,which was proportion of patients with≥50%reduction in *** secondary endpoint,the proportion of patients in remission defined as SCCAI≤2.5,was in ITT analysis reached in 18 of the 39 patients(46%).In a repeated-measure regression analysis,the estimated mean reduction in score was 5.0 points(95%CI:4.1-5.9,Pmated mean time taken to obtain half the reduction in score was 28 d(95%CI:26-30).There were no serious adverse events(AEs)or withdrawals due to *** was generally well ***:Profermin is safe and may be effective in inducing remission of active UC.

middle to Late Jurassic belemnites from the Spiti and Zanskar valleys in the Indian Himalayas were used for stable isotope(δ^(13)C, δ^(18)O) and element(mg/Ca, Sr/Ca) analyses. Although the Himalayan orogeny deformed and altered a large portion of the collected fossils, cathodoluminescence and scanning electron microscopy in combination with analyses of iron and manganese contents allowed the identification of belemnites believed to still retain their original chemical composition. Results indicate a long-term temperature decrease from the middle Callovian–Oxfordian to the Tithonian, which is proposed to have been caused by a concomitant drift of eastern Gondwana into higher palaeolatitudes. Reconstructed absolute temperatures depend on the used equation and assumed δ^(18)O value of seawater, but most likely varied between 17.6 ℃ to 27.6℃ in the Kimmeridgian and Tithonian with average values between 22 ℃ to 24 ℃. This way, temperatures were similar to slightly warmer than today at comparable latitudes. The reconstruction of absolute temperatures for the middle Callovian–Oxfordian was hindered by a larger number of poorly preserved belemnites representing this time interval.
