Static recrystallization of a high strain rate compressed Mg-1 Zn(wt.%)alloy was investigated using electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).A novel 53°1010 structure was observed in the as-deformed alloy,which showed a{1012}-{1012}double twin relationship with the *** the as-deformed alloy was annealed at 200°C,the{1011}compression twins and{1011}-{1012}double twins showed a higher priority to *** addition,the coarse{1012}tension twins and their inner double twins were preferentially to recrystallize,while the lenticular tension twins had little impact on the ***,obtaining more compression twins or coarse twins instead of lenticular tension twins can be an effective approach to manipulate recrystallization process in deformed Mg alloys.

The sea potato Acaudina *** a species of sea cucumber,belonging to the class Holothuroidea under Phylum *** becomes blooming recently in the East Sea of China,causing serious ecological ***,until now there are no molecular data for its larval identification and population genetic *** this study,we firstly screened a mtDNA fragment and demonstrated that it was the species-specific molecular marker for the identification of Acaudina *** then developed a quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR)method to evaluate the larval density of Acaudina *** on this molecular *** this method,we examined 116 plankton samples collected in four seasons from 13 stations along the coastal region in Fu-jian province,*** results showed that the high larval density was presented at stations 1,2,and 3,which were near a quay in the *** larval density increased from April and reached the highest value in June and July,suggesting temperature might be the main environmental factor on the effects of its population distribution and *** work provides an important molecular tool for species identification and risk evaluation of a potentially invasive species.

Many granulite blocks have been recently dis-covered in the Anzishan area, Mianxian County, ShaanxiProvince, in the central segment of the Manxian-Lueyangsuturc zone. Sm-Nd isochron and 40 Ar39 Ar ages of mineralsamples of granulites from this area are reported in the *** granulite mineral samples give a Sm-Nd isochron age oft=(206 ± 55) Ma (2σ), with INd = 0.51302±7(2σ) and MSWD =1.6, and a biotite 40Ar/39 Ar plateau age of (199.7±l.7) Ma(2σ). The formation and uplift of the granulites were relatedto subduction of the Yangtze block beneath the SouthQinling microcontinent and their collision and the finalamalgamation of the Yangtze and Sino-Korean craton blocksin the Indosinian, and their age is consistent with or close tothose of the Dabie ultrahigh-pressure and high-pressuremetamorphic rocks, so have great tectonic significance.

This study aims to understand the features of{11■1}twin boundaries in a high strain rate compressed Mg-10 Gd-3Y-0.4Zr using electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Based on the Schmid factor calculations,the basal dislocations are easily activated within the{11■1}twin and suppressed in the surrounding *** consequent basal dislocation-twin interaction during deformation can lead to the misorentiation deviation of{11■1}twin boundaries,accompanying with the formation of a step at the twin *** a{11■1}twin boundary evolution mechanism provides a new vision of twinning behavior in Mg alloys.

BACKGROUND： Thrombomodulin concentration greatly increases in plasma when vascular endothelial cells are injured, and it is one of the specific molecular markers for endothelial injury. OBJECTIVE： To analyze the plasma levels of thrombomodulin after cerebral infarction or hypertension, and to compare levels with those from healthy control subjects. DESIGN： A case-controlled observation. SETTING： Yuquan Hospital of Tsinghua University. PARTICIPANTS： Patients with hypertension （n = 37） and acute cerebral infarction （n = 26） were selected from the outpatient and inpatient Department of Neurology, Yuquan Hospital of Tsinghua University from February 2003 to February 2006. The cerebral infarction group consisted of 24 males and 2 females, 36-77 years of age, with a mean age of 62 years. All patients fulfilled the diagnosis criteria for cerebral infarction, according to the diagnostic standards revised by the Second National Academic Meeting for Cerebrovascular Disease, and were confirmed by CT or MRI. The hypertension group consisted of 27 males and 10 females, 36-77 years of age, with a mean age of 56 years. These patients fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for hypertension set by WHO. In addition, 43 healthy physical examinees were selected as the control group, consisting of 23 males and 20 females, 35-67 years of age. Informed consent was obtained from all participants. METHODS： In the cerebral infarction group, thrombomodulin plasma levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay at days 1, 3, 7, and 14 after attack. Thrombomodulin plasma levels were determined only once in the hypertension group and the control group. The results from the cerebral infarction group were compared with those from the hypertension group and the control group. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Level of thrombomodulin in plasma. Based on the molecular docking studies, which were performed to position Erlotinib and the target com- pounds into the active site of the epidermal growth factor receptor（EGFR） to determine the probable binding model, a novel series of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo[4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives as the novel potential EGFR kinase inhibitors was designed and synthesized. The antitumor activity of all the target compounds against human pulmonary carcinoma cell line A549 has been screened. Of all the target compounds, 4-[2-（l-piperidyl）carbonylmethoxyl- phenthio]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo[4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine（Tj） demonstrated the most potent antitumor activity. Several of the target compounds exhibited moderate antitumor activity. The preliminary structure-activity relation- ships of some target compounds were summarized.
