Short chain fatty acids(SCFA)exist in dietary foods and are produced by the fermentation of gut microbiota,and are considered an important element for regulating host *** blood circulation,SCFA produced in the gut and obtained from foods have an impact on the intestinal health as well as vital organs of the *** has been recognized that the gut is the“vital organ”in the *** the gut microbial metabolites,SCFA could create an“axis”connecting the gut and to other ***,the“gut-organ axes”have become a focus of research in recent years to analyze organism *** this review,we summarized the sources,absorption properties,and the function of SCFA in both gut and other peripheral tissues(brain,kidney,liver,lung,bone and cardiovascular)in the way of“gut-organ axes”.Short chain fatty acids exert both beneficial and pathological role in gut and other organs in various ways,in which the beneficial effects are more *** addition,the beneficial effects are reflected in both preventive and therapeutic *** importantly,the mechanisms behinds the gut and other tissues provided insight into the function of SCFA,assisting in the development of novel preventive and therapeutic strategies for maintaining the host health.

A large amount of sludge is inevitably produced during sewage ***(US)as anaerobic digestion(AD)pretreatment was implemented on different sludges and its effects on batch and semi-continuous AD performance were *** was ef-fective in sludge SCOD increase,size decrease,and CH_(4)production in the subsequent AD,and these effects were enhanced with an elevated specific energy *** indicated by semi-continuous AD experiments,the mean daily CH_(4)production of US-pretreated A^(2)O-,A^(2)O-MBR-,and AO-AO-sludgewere 176.9,119.8,and 141.7 NmL/g-VSadded,whichwere 35.1%,32.1%and 78.2%higher than methane production of their respective raw *** US of A^(2)O-sludge achieved preferable US effects and CH_(4)production due to its high organic con-tent andweak sludge structure *** response to US-pretreated sludge,amore diverse microbial community was observed in *** US-AD system showed negative net energy;however,it exhibited other positive effects,e.g.,lower required sludge retention time and less residual total solids for *** is a feasible option prior to AD to improve anaer-obic bioconversion and CH_(4)yield although further studies are necessary to advance it in practice.

The running stability of high-speed train is largely constrained by the wheel-rail coupling relationship,and the continuous wear between the wheel and rail surfaces will profoundly affect the dynamic performance of the *** recent years,under the background of increasing train speed,some scientific researchers have proposed a new idea of using the lift force generated by the aerodynamic wings(aero-wing)installed on the roof to reduce the sprung load of the carriage in order to alleviate the wear and tear of the wheel and *** on the bidirectional running characteristics of high-speed train,this paper proposes a scheme to apply aero-wings with anteroposterior symmetrical cross-sections on the roof of the *** the verification of the wind tunnel experimental data,the relatively better airfoil section and extension formof anteroposterior symmetrical aero-wing is selected respectively in this paper,and the aero-wings are fixedly connected to the roof of the train through the mounting column to conduct aerodynamic simulation *** research shows that:compared with the circular-arc and oval crosssections,this paper believes that the crescent cross-section can form greater aerodynamic lift force in a limited *** factors such as aerodynamic parameters,ground effect,and manufacturing process,this paper proposes to adopt aero-wings with arc type extension form and connect them to the roof of the train through mounting columns with shuttle *** the roof of the train is covered with aero-wings and runs at high speed,the sprung load of the carriages can be effectively ***,there are certain hidden dangers in the tail carriage due to the large amount of lift force,so,the intervention of the aero-wing lifting mechanism is *** the same time,it is necessary to optimize the overall aerodynamic drag force reduction in the followup work.

Heat accumulation inside perovskite solar cells causes the decomposition of the perovskite layer and hole transport materials(HTMs)under working conditions,yielding a decrease in long-term ***,we present a zeolite-assisted heat conduction strategy by introducing economic zeolite crystals(e.g.,NaX,NaY,and ZSM-5)as a cooling filter to induce heat *** fitted thermal diffusion kinetic equation from real-time infrared thermal imaging technology reveals the zeolite skeleton assisted thermal co nduction mechanism of internal lattice ***,the nearly twofold improved conductivity of the modified HTM film is benefited from Na^(+)hopping on the supercages of the zeolite,therefore,the best-performed device with a rapid heat diffusion and defect inhibition obtains a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 23.42%.Both of NaX modified sprio-OMeTAD and PTAA based devices exhibit excellent operational stability after heating 1000 h at 85℃under N_(2)*** work demonstrates the potential application of economical porous zeolite materials in improving the thermal stability of PSCs.

Intravascular ultrasound(IVUS)is a burgeoning imaging technology that provides vital information for the diagnosis of coronary arterial diseases.A significant constituent that enables the IVUS system to attain high-resolution images is the ultrasound transducer,which acts as both a transmitter that sends acoustic waves and a detector that receives the returning *** the most mature form of ultrasound transducer available in the market,piezoelectric transducers have dominated the field of biomedical ***,there are some drawbacks associated with using the traditional piezoelectric ultrasound transducers such as difficulties in the fabrication of high-density arrays,which would aid in the acceleration of the imaging speed and alleviate motion *** advent of microelectromechanical system(MEMS)technology has brought about the development of micromachined ultrasound transducers that would help to address this *** from the advantage of being able to be fabricated into arrays with lesser complications,the image quality of IVUS can be further enhanced with the easy integration of micromachined ultrasound transducers with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS).This would aid in the mitigation of parasitic capacitance,thereby improving the ***,there are two commonly investigated micromachined ultrasound transducers,piezoelectric micromachined ultrasound transducers(PMUTs)and capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducers(CMUTs).Currently,PMUTs face a significant challenge where the fabricated PMUTs do not function as per their ***,CMUTs with different array configurations have been developed for *** this paper,the different ultrasound transducers,including conventional-piezoelectric transducers,PMUTs and CMUTs,are reviewed,and a summary of the recent progress of CMUTs for IVUS is presented.

MXenes are a novel family of two-dimensional(2D)materials that are fast gaining popularity due to their versatile *** surfaces of these materials are often functionalized by negatively charged terminal groups,such as=O,OH,and F during their synthesis,and it has been hypothesized that regulating the surface terminators enables to control the material ***,there is still a large gap between computational and experimental investigations regarding comprehending the surface functional *** with mixed terminations are consistently synthesized in experiments,although pure terminated surfaces are predicted by computational *** we summarized the nature of chemical bonding in transition metal carbide materials(MXenes)by1H and19F nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),Raman,X-ray absorption near edge structure(XANES),extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS),ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy(UPS),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)/scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM),and thermogravimetric analysis-mass spectrometry(TGA-MS)*** literature reveals that=O,–OH,–F,and–Cl are typical MXene surface ***,recent comparative investigations on the valence band intensity distribution in MXenes reveal that the–OH cannot be considered an intrinsic termination species in *** surface terminals(=O,–OH,–F,and–Cl)of several MXenes,particularly V2CTxand Ti3C2Tx,will be identified and quantified *** have also discussed different etching approaches for the synthesis of MXene,the dependence of MXene conductivity on MXene terminating groups,and the emission of various gaseous products that evolved during its chemical *** paper provides significance,especially in the field of energy conversion and storage materials,where the intercalation process is crucial.

Negative thermal expansion(NTE)of materials is an intriguing phenomenon challenging the concept of traditional lattice dynamics and of importance for a variety of *** in this field develop markedly and update continuously our knowledge on the NTE behavior of *** this article,we review the most recent understandings on the underlying mechanisms(anharmonic phonon vibration,magnetovolume effect,ferroelectrorestriction and charge transfer)of thermal shrinkage and the development of NTE materials under each mechanism from both the theoretical and experimental *** the low frequency optical phonons which are usually accepted as the origins of NTE in framework structures,NTE driven by acoustic phonons and the interplay between anisotropic elasticity and phonons are *** on the data documented,some problems affecting applications of NTE materials are discussed and strategies for discovering and design novel framework structured NET materials are also presented.

Fruit detection and counting are essential tasks for horticulture *** computer vision technology development,fruit detection techniques based on deep learning have been widely used in modern ***,most deep learning-based fruit detection models are generated based on fully supervised approaches,which means a model trained with one domain species may not be transferred to *** is always a need to recreate and label the relevant training dataset,but such a procedure is time-consuming and *** paper proposed a domain adaptation method that can transfer an existing model trained from one domain to a new domain without extra manual *** method includes three main steps:transform the source fruit image(with labeled information)into the target fruit image(without labeled information)through the CycleGAN network;Automatically label the target fruit image by a pseudo-label process;Improve the labeling accuracy by a pseudo-label self-learning *** a labeled orange image dataset as the source domain,unlabeled apple and tomato image dataset as the target domain,the performance of the proposed method from the perspective of fruit detection has been *** manual labeling for target domain image,the mean average precision reached 87.5%for apple detection and 76.9%for tomato detection,which shows that the proposed method can potentially fill the species gap in deep learning-based fruit detection.

Safe and long lifespan batteries facilitate the development of portable electronics and electric *** to the low-cost,naturally abundance,and trivalent charge carrier of aluminum with the highest theoretical volumetric capacity,rechargeable aqueous aluminum-ion-based batteries are considered as promising next-generation secondary ***,traditional electrolytes and frequent collapse of the host structure of electrode materials greatly jeopardize the cycle stability of the ***,we develop a novel hydrogel-based electrolyte coupled with stable layered intercalation electrodes for the first time to fabricate a highly safe and flexible rechargeable hybrid Al^(3^(+))/H^(+)*** as-fabricated hybrid-ion battery(HIB)delivers a high specific capacity of 125 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.1 A·g^(−1) and exhibits an unprecedented super long-term cycling stability with no capacity fading over 10,000 cycles at 2 A·g^(−1).In addition,the hydrogel-based electrolyte possesses smart function of thermoresponsive switching,which can effectively prevent thermal runaway for the *** unprecedented long cycle stability,highly intrinsic safety as well as low-cost indicate that the flexible aqueous HIBs are promising for applications.
