PbO2-poly tetra fluoro ethylene(PTFE)coating anode was prepared through electrodeposition method,which involved the use of scanning electron microscope,linear sweep voltammetry,contact angle,and accelerated life test.Degradation of perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS)with Ti/PbO2 and Ti/SnO2eSb2O5/PbO2-PTFE anodes was performed.Operating parameters,including initial concentration of PFOS,current density,and initial pH value were evaluated.Experimental results indicated that Ti/SnO2eSb2O5/PbO2-PTFE had longer lifespan(46.5 h)than Ti/PbO2 anode(3.5 h).The hydrophobic property of PbO2 was substantially improved after the addition of PTFE.Hydrophilic Ti/PbO2 with the contact angle of 45.4was transformed into hydrophobic Ti/SnO2eSb2O5/PbO2-PTFE with a contact angle of 130.9.The electrochemical performance was also enhanced after PTFE particles were added into PbO2 electrodeposition coating.The oxygen evolution potential was increased by 0.32 V,and removal ratios of PFOS had increased from 53.5%to 89%after addition of PTFE.When initial PFOS concentration varied from 100 mg/L to 300 mg/L,PFOS removal ratios increased with the initial concentration.High current density favored the high PFOS removal ratio and the defluorination ratio.Low pH profited the degradation of PFOS.However,alkaline atmosphere had detrimental effect to the PFOS desulfonation.Intermediate products of PFOS degradation were identified with liquid chromatography system coupled with a triple-stage quadruple mass spectrometer.Moreover,mechanisms of PFOS degradation were proposed.

Dear Editor, Tuberculosis （TB） is a formidable challenge to global health and is caused by an ancient pathogen, Mycobacteriurn tuberculosis （WHO, 2010）. In the pre-antibiotic era, TB killed 20% of adults in Europe and North America in the period from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries （Wilson, 2005）. Since antibiotics have been included in TB treatment regi- mens, millions of human lives have been saved by this che- motherapy. However, the standard anti-tuberculosis therapy is only effective for drug-susceptible TB but not for multi-drug resistant and extensively drug-resistant TB. Unfortunately, our knowledge of drug resistance in mycobacteria remains unclear and thus hampers the development of new anti- tubercular drugs. The basic mechanisms of drug resistance in mycobacteria are complicated and the outcome of drug resistance stems from evolution in the final analysis. Under- standing the evolutionary strategies used by M. tuberculosis might give new insights into designing control strategies against M. tuberculosis （Little et al,. 2012）.

Plant mitochondrial phosphate transporters regulate phosphate transport and ATP synthesis. Determining whether they function in abiotic stress response process would shed light on their response to salt stress. We used the CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing system to mutagenize two mitochondrial phosphate transporters, OsMPT3;1 and OsMPT3;2, to investigate their regulatory roles under salt stress. Two cas9(CRISPR-associated protein9)-free homozygous mutants, mpt33 and mpt30, were confirmed to be stable. Both OsMPT3;1 and OsMPT3;2 were markedly induced by salt stress, and their mutagenesis strongly inhibited growth and development, especially under salt stress. Mutagenesis sharply reduced the accumulation of ATP, phosphate, calcium, soluble sugar, and proline and increased osmotic potential, malondialdehyde, and Na^+ /K^+ ratio under salt stress. Both mutants demonstrate normal growth and development in the presence of ATP, revealing high sensitivity to exogenous ATP under salt stress. The mutants showed lowered rates of Na^+ efflux but also of K^+ and Ca^(2+) influx under salt stress. Mutagenesis of OsMPT3;2 altered the enrichment profiles of differentially expressed genes involved mainly in synthesis of secondary metabolites, metabolism of glycolysis, pyruvate, tricarboxylic acid cycle, in response to salt stress. The mutant displayed significant accumulation differences in 14 metabolites involved in 17 metabolic pathways, and strongly up-regulated the accumulation of glutamine, a precursor in proline synthesis, under salt stress. These findings suggest that the OsMPT3 gene modulates phosphate transport and energy supply for ATP synthesis and triggers changes in accumulation of ions and metabolites participating in osmotic regulation in rice under salt stress, thus increasing rice salt tolerance. This study demonstrates the effective application of CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing to the investigation of plant functional genes.

General anesthesia severely affects the metabolites in the brain.Glycogen,principally stored in astrocytes and providing the short-term delivery of substrates to neurons,has been implicated as an affected molecule.However,whether glycogen plays a pivotal role in modulating anesthesia-arousal remains unclear.Here,we demonstrated that isoflurane-anesthetized mice exhibited dynamic changes in the glycogen levels in various brain regions.Glycogen synthase(GS)and glycogen phosphorylase(GP),key enzymes of glycogen metabolism,showed increased activity after isoflurane exposure.Upon blocking glycogenolysis with 1,4-dideoxy-1,4-imino-Darabinitol(DAB),a GP antagonist,we found a prolonged time of emergence from anesthesia and an enhancedδfrequency in the EEG(electroencephalogram).In addition,augmented expression of glycogenolysis genes in glycogen phosphorylase,brain(Pygb)knock-in(PygbH11/H11)mice resulted in delayed induction of anesthesia,a shortened emergence time,and a lower ratio of EEG-δ.Our findings revealed a role of brain glycogen in regulating anesthesiaarousal,providing a potential target for modulating anesthesia.

采用分步浸渍法制备CuO-NiO/CeO_(2)催化剂,通过XRD、BET、H_(2)-TPR、Raman和XPS手段对催化剂进行表征,探究NiO-CeO_(2)前驱体焙烧温度对催化剂物化性质及富H_(2)/CO_(2)气氛下CO选择性氧化性能的影响。结果表明,前驱体焙烧温度主要影响催化剂的还原性能和氧空位的含量。当焙烧温度为500℃时,催化剂中氧空位的含量较高,其催化性能较好。在反应温度为130℃,氧过量系数为1.2,空速为20266 mL/(g·h)时,CO转化率为95.9%,CO氧化选择性为86.3%。

2016年8月11日,中国第七次北极科学考察在82.75°N,163.25°W附近观测到一次海雾过程。本文利用船载观测数据和浮冰站通量系统观测数据,结合再分析资料,对海雾的形成机理进行研究。结果表明,冷高压系统在冰面的加强,增强了下沉运动,使逆温层高度明显降低。伴随低云云底高度下降,冰面能见度下降至不足1 km。在低云下降过程中,冰面气象要素表现为增湿和降温的特征。冷平流和冰面的冷却作用导致气温下降,高低压之间的偏南气流将楚科奇海的水汽输送到密集浮冰区,为海雾提供了充足的水汽。冰面的升华和蒸发作用一方面对底层大气水汽增加有贡献,另一方面使冰面失去潜热导致冰面温度下降。

采用共浸渍法制备较低Cu含量的MnCu/Ce催化剂,通过XRD、BET、H_(2)-TPR、XPS和CO_(2)-TPD等表征手段对催化剂进行表征,考察催化剂焙烧温度对催化剂结构、性质及其在含有CO_(2)的富氢气氛下对CO优先氧化性能的影响。结果表明,MnCu/Ce催化剂均有Cu/Mn-O-Ce固溶体形成,其中,在焙烧温度600℃制备的催化剂中,Mn与Cu、Ce之间相互作用较强,形成较多三元氧化物固溶体,氧空位/Ce^(3+)含量高,具备良好的CO-Prox活性。此外,对反应条件的考察发现,添加不同分压Ar对催化剂的CO-Prox活性影响较小,气体空速和氧过量系数对催化剂活性影响较大,且反应原料气中CO_(2)的存在对CO-Prox反应有负面影响。氧过量系数为1.2、空速范围为20266-30400 mL/(g·h)时,CO转化率最高,达到94.7%。
