High incidence(10.2%)and mortality(9.2%)rates led to the ranking of colorectal cancer(CRC)as the second most malignant tumor spectrum worldwide in 2020.Treatment strategies are becoming highly dependent on the molecular characteristics of CRC.The classical theories accept two models depicting the origin of CRC:The progression of adenoma to cancer and transformation from serrated polyps to cancer.However,the molecular mechanism of CRC development is very complex.For instance,CRCs originating from laterally spreading tumors(LST)do not adhere to any of these models and exhibit extremely serious progression and poor outcomes.In this article,we present another possible pathway involved in CRC development,particularly from LST,with important molecular characteristics,which would facilitate the design of a novel strategy for targeted therapy.

The microstructural characteristics including optical texture,porosity and pore structure and chemical structure of stamp-charged coke(SCC)and gravity-charged coke(GCC)with similar conventional macro-indicators were investigated,and the properties including micro-strength,reactivity of coke matrix and that after alkali enrichment were comparatively studied by various characterization methods.The anisotropic structure of SCC is composed of high content of fine mosaic texture,while the content of medium mosaic texture,coarse texture and fibrous texture is low.The statistical average shows that the fine mosaic average of SCC(24.89%)is 3.78 times the GCC average(6.58%),and the coarse mosaic average(1.24%)is only about 1/3 of the GCC average(3.43%).The porosity of SCC is lower than that of GCC,but tamping process does not lead to the fact that the number of closed pores of SCC is significantly lower than that of GCC.Although the structure of SCC is compact,its pore number is large and the pore wall is thin.Pores of coke with diameter less than 150 nm seem unaffected by tamping process.The aromatic structure of SCC was less ordered than that of GCC,which was speculated to be related to the addition of more low metamorphic coal in coking.The microscopic strength and structural strength of SCC are lower than those of GCC.The reactivity of coke matrix is affected by the specific surface area,but it is not the determining factor of its macro-reactivity.The improvement in dissolution reactivity of coke after potassium enrichment is independent of coke type.

BACKGROUND Purpureocillium lilacinum(P.lilacinum)is a saprophytic fungus widespread in soil and vegetation.As a causative agent,it is very rarely detected in humans,most commonly in the skin.CASE SUMMARY In this article,we reported the case of a 72-year-old patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia who was admitted with cough and fever.Computed tomography revealed an infection in the right lower lobe.Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid culture and metagenomic next-generation sequencing were ultimately confirmed to have a pulmonary infection with P.lilacinum.she was eventually discharged with good outcomes after treatment with isavuconazole.CONCLUSION Pulmonary infection with P.lilacinum was exceedingly rare.While currently there are no definitive therapeutic agents,there are reports of high resistance to amphotericin B and fluconazole and good sensitivity to second-generation triazoles.The present report is the first known use of isavuconazole for pulmonary P.lilacinum infection.It provides new evidence for the characterization and treatment of clinical P.lilacinum lung infections.

The high-energy photon source(HEPS)is the first fourth-generation synchrotron light source facility in China.The HEPS injector consists of a linear accelerator(Linac)and a full energy booster.The booster captures the electron beam from the Linac and increases its energy to the value required for the storage ring.The full-energy beam could be injected to the storage ring directly or after“high-energy accumulation.”On November 17,2023,the key booster parameters successfully reached their corresponding target values.These milestone results were achieved based on numerous contributions,including nearly a decade of physical design,years of equipment development and installation,and months of beam commissioning.As measured at the extraction energy of 6 GeV,the averaged beam current and emittance reached 8.57 mA with 5 bunches and 30.37 nm rad with a single-bunch charge of 5.58 nC,compared with the corresponding target values of 6.6 mA and 35 nm rad,respectively.This paper presents the physical design,equipment development,installation,and commissioning process of the HEPS booster.

目的分析良性前列腺增生(BPH)患者经手术治疗后尿路感染(UTI)与凋亡相关因子配体(FasL)、半胱氨酸蛋白酶-3(Caspase-3)、高迁移率族蛋白B1(HMGB1)和细胞间黏附分子-1(ICAM-1)的关系。方法选择2020年1月-2022年12月在河南省中医院接受治疗的306例BPH患者,将手术治疗后46例发生UTI患者纳入感染组,260例未发生UTI的患者纳入未感染组,采用多因素Logistic回归分析BPH患者术后发生UTI的危险因素,受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线分析FasL、Caspase-3、HMGB1和ICAM-1对BPH患者术后发生UTI的诊断价值。结果多因素Logistic回归分析结果显示,BPH患者经手术治疗后发生UTI的独立危险因素包括高龄、糖尿病史、术前留置导尿管、初学医师行手术操作(P<0.05);感染组FasL蛋白低于未感染组(P<0.05),Caspase-3蛋白及血清HMGB1、ICAM-1水平均高于未感染组(P<0.05);FasL、Caspase-3、HMGB1和ICAM-1联合诊断BPH患者术后发生UTI的曲线下面积(AUC)为0.944,敏感度和特异度分别为91.30%和86.54%。结论年龄大、有糖尿病史、术前留置导尿管、初学医师行手术均是BPH患者术后发生UTI的危险因素,FasL、Caspase-3、HMGB1和ICAM-1检测预测术后发生UTI的价值较高。

大同火山群及邻区中小地震重定位

文中基于中国地震台网中心在大同火山群及周边地区记录到的2008年1月-2023年1月期间3 218个地震的到时资料,采用双差地震重定位法开展了重新定位研究,获得了2 447个事件的重定位结果。结果显示,地震大多发生在16km深度以浅处,集中分布于断陷盆地内及盆地边界的断裂带附近,整体走向NE-SW,与区域活动构造的活动断裂及其控制的地堑、半地堑型断陷盆地的走向较为一致。这些地震E-W向、S-N向、垂直向的平均定位误差约为0.21km、0.22km、0.30km,平均均方根残差为0.14s。口泉断裂带附近的地震分布由南部的较深、较集中变化为北部的较浅、较分散,可能与矿山开采活动有关。大同-阳高地震震源区的地震多集中在与大王村断裂平行的东侧隐伏断层的3~16km深度处,该隐伏断层与团堡断裂和六棱山山前断裂交会,可能与大同-阳高地震的余震活动有关。火山区内部的地震活动并不强烈。结合该区域新的背景噪声层析成像结果分析发现,大多数地震发生在低速异常边界,可能暗示了这些地震的发生与热物质上涌所携带的流体上升至地壳深度,进而降低断面有效正应力密切相关。

研究从鳜(Siniperca chuatsi)基因组中获得Shh(Sonic hedgehog)基因序列,对该基因编码的蛋白质和同源进化特征进行了分析。鳜Shh基因的开放阅读框(ORF)为1242 bp,编码413个氨基酸,分子量为46.01 kD,等电点(pI)为6.57,脂溶系数为82.83,亲水性平均系数为−0.292,拥有一个跨膜区,被推定为亲水性膜结合蛋白。Shh蛋白具有两个结构域,即Hh-N和Hh-C结构域。鳜Shh蛋白与自身所属的鲈形目鱼类Shh蛋白同源性较高。通过实时荧光定量PCR技术检测了鳜Shh基因的时空表达水平。结果显示:Shh的表达量在神经胚期表达显著上调,并在胚胎发育中后阶段保持较高水平。Shh在鳜不同组织中存在一定的表达差异,在脑、肠道中表达量较高,而在红肌、白肌等组织中表达量相对较低。通过环巴胺(Cyclopamine)处理鳜胚胎来抑制Shh信号通路的实验表明,Shh信号通路被抑制后,Pax3、Pax7、Myomaker、生肌调节因子及肌球蛋白重、轻链等基因的表达均显著降低,推测Shh参与调控鳜肌细胞的早期分化和发育过程。研究将有助于从分子水平了解Shh信号调控鱼类发育的分子机理,为鱼类发育生物学以及健康养殖提供参考依据。
