Background:There is a grow.ng body of experimental evidence examining the effects of plyometric jump training(PJT)on physical fitness attributes in basketball players;how.ver,this evidence has not yet been comprehensively and systematically ***,our objective w.s to meta-analyze the effects of PJT on physical fitness attributes in basketball players,in comparison to a control ***:A systematic literature search w.s conducted in the databases PubMed,w.b of Science,and Scopus,up to July ***-review.d controlled trials w.th baseline and follow.up measurements investigating the effects of PJT on physical fitness attributes(muscle pow.r,i.e.,jumping performance,linear sprint speed,change-of-direction speed,balance,and muscle strength)in basketball players,w.th no restrictions on their playing level,sex,or ***’s g effect sizes(ES)w.re calculated for physical fitness *** a random-effects model,potential sources of heterogeneity w.re selected,including subgroup analyses(age,sex,body mass,and height)and single training factor analysis(program duration,training frequency,and total number of training sessions).Computation of metaregression w.s also ***:Thirty-tw. studies w.re included,involving 818 total basketball ***(pw.re evident on vertical jump pow.r(ES=0.45),countermovement jump height w.th(ES=1.24)and w.thout arm sw.ng(ES=0.88),squat jump height(ES=0.80),drop jump height(ES=0.53),horizontal jump distance(ES=0.65),linear sprint time across distances≤10 m(ES=1.67)and>10 m(ES=0.92),change-of-direction performance time across distances≤40 m(ES=1.15)and>40 m(ES=1.02),dynamic(ES=1.16)and static balance(ES=1.48),and maximal strength(ES=0.57).The meta-regression revealed that training duration,training frequency,and total number of sessions completed did not predict the effects of PJT on physical fitness *** analysis indicated greater improvement

Establishment of pregnancy in pigs involves maintaining progesterone secretion from the corpora lutea in addition to regulating a sensitive interplay betw.en the maternal immune system and attachment of the rapidly expanding trophoblast for nutrient absorption. The peri-implantation period of rapid trophoblastic elongation follow.d by attachment to the maternal uterine endometrium is critical for establishing a sufficient placental-uterine interface for subsequent nutrient transport for fetal survival to term, but is also marked by the required conceptus release of factors involved w.th stimulating uterine secretion of histotroph and modulation of the maternal immune system. Many endometrial genes activated by the conceptus secretory factors stimulate a tightly controlled proinflammatory response w.thin the uterus. A number of the cytokines released by the elongating conceptuses stimulate inducible transcription factors such as nuclear factor kappa B （NFKB） potentially regulating the maternal uterine proinflammatory and immune response. This review.w.ll establish the current know.edge for the role of conceptus cytokine production and release in early development and establishment of pregnancy in the pig.

Vegetation plays an important role in the dry deposition of particles w.th significant spatial variability,but the magnitude remains unclear at the global *** the aid of satellite products,this study estimated the vegetation-related dry deposition of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5)).Methodologically,dry deposition w.s first calculated using an empirical ***,deposition on the leaf surface w.s estimated to evaluate the influence of *** results show.d that the mean deposition velocity(V_(d))of global PM_(2.5)w.s 0.91×10^(-3)μg·m^(-2)·s^(-1),w.th high velocities observed in sparsely vegetated regions because of the high friction *** the combined effect of the PM_(2.5)mass concentration and deposition velocity,the global mean dry deposition reached 0.47 g·m-^(2)·yr^(-1).Global vegetation absorbed 0.26 g·m-^(2)·yr^(-1)from PM_(2.5)pollution sources,contributing 54.98%of the total dry ***,vegetation-related dry deposition w.s high in the Amazon,Central Africa and East China due to dense vegetation coverage or serious ***,the increasing trends w.re mainly in Central Africa and India because of w.rsening air *** results of this study helped to clarify the impact of vegetation on air pollution,w.ich supported related land management and planning for air quality improvement.

SemipolarⅢ-nitrides have attracted increasing attention in applications of optoelectronic devices due to the much reduced polarization field.A high-quality semipolar AlN template is the building block of semipolar AlGaN-based deep-ultraviolet light emitting diodes(DUV LEDs),and thus deserves special *** this w.rk,a multi-step in situ interface modification technique is developed for the first time,to our know.edge,to achieve high-quality semipolar AlN *** stacking faults w.re efficiently blocked due to the modification of atomic configurations at the related *** regrow. AlGaN layers w.re obtained on the in situ treated AlN template,and stacking faults w.re eliminated in the post-grow. AlGaN *** strains betw.en AlGaN layers w.re relaxed through a dislocation glide in the basal plane and misfit dislocations at the *** contrast,high-temperature ex situ annealing show. great improvement in defect annihilation,yet suffers from severe lattice distortion w.th strong compressive strain in the AlN template,w.ich is unfavorable to the post-grow. AlGaN *** strong enhancement of luminous intensity is achieved in in situ treated AlGaN DUV *** in situ interface modification technique proposed in this w.rk is proven to be an efficient method for the preparation of high-quality semipolar Al N,show.ng great potential tow.rds the realization of high-efficiency optoelectronic devices.

The diagnosis and management of cirrhosis and portal hypertension(PH)w.th its complications including variceal hemorrhage,ascites,and hepatic encephalopathy continues to *** there are established“standards of care”in liver biopsy and measurement of PH,gastric varices remain an area w.thout a universally accepted therapeutic *** concept of“Endo Hepatology”has been used to describe of the applications of endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)to these ***-liver biopsy(EUS-LB)offers an alternative to percutaneous and transjuglar liver biopsy w.thout compromising safety or efficacy,and w.th added advantages including the potential to reduce sampling error by allow.ng biopsies in both hepatic ***,EUS-LB can be performed during the same procedure as EUS-guided portal pressure gradient(PPG)measurements,allow.ng for the collection of valuable diagnostic and prognostic ***-guided PPG measurements provide an appealing alternative to the transjugular approach,w.th proposed advantages including the ability to directly measure portal vein *** addition,EUS-guided treatment of gastric varices(GV)offers several possible advantages to current ***-guided treatment of GV allow. detailed assessment of the vascular anatomy,similar efficacy and safety to current therapies,and allow. the evaluation of treatment effect through doppler ultrasound *** appropriate selection of patients for these procedures is paramount to ensuring generation of useful clinical data and patient safety.
