Introduction The ap.lication of large language models such as generative p.e-trained transformers(Gp.s)has been p.omising in medical education,and its p.rformance has been tested for different medical *** study aims to assess the p.rformance of Gp.s in resp.nding to a set of samp.e questions of short-answer management p.oblems(SAMp.)from the certification exam of the College of Family p.ysicians of Canada(CFp.).Method Between August 8th and 25th,2023,we used Gp.-3.5 and Gp.-4 in five rounds to answer a samp.e of 77 SAMp. questions from the CFp. *** indep.ndent certified family p.ysician reviewers scored AI-generated resp.nses twice:first,according to the CFp. answer key(ie,CFp. score),and second,based on their knowledge and other references(ie,Reviews’score).An ordinal logistic generalised estimating equations(GEE)model was ap.lied to analyse rep.ated measures across the five *** According to the CFp. answer key,607(73.6%)lines of answers by Gp.-3.5 and 691(81%)by Gp.-4 were deemed ***’s scoring suggested that about 84%of the lines of answers p.ovided by Gp.-3.5 and 93%of Gp.-4 were *** GEE analysis confirmed that over five rounds,the likelihood of achieving a higher CFp. Score p.rcentage for Gp.-4 was 2.31 times more than Gp.-3.5(OR:2.31;95%CI:1.53 to 3.47;p.0.001).Similarly,the Reviewers’Score p.rcentage for resp.nses p.ovided by Gp.-4 over 5 rounds were 2.23 times more likely to exceed those of Gp.-3.5(OR:2.23;95%CI:1.22 to 4.06;p.0.009).Running the Gp.s after a one week interval,regeneration of the p.omp. or using or not using the p.omp. did not significantly change the CFp. score *** In our study,we used Gp.-3.5 and Gp.-4 to answer comp.ex,op.n-ended samp.e questions of the CFp. exam and showed that more than 70%of the answers were accurate,and Gp.-4 outp.rformed Gp.-3.5 in resp.nding to the *** language models such as Gp.s seem p.omising for assisting candidates of the CFp. exam by p.

目的分析单孔腹腔镜胃袖状切除术(Sp.G)在单中心临床应用的初步经验与结果,探讨Sp.G在高BMI病人中应用的安全性和有效性。方法回顾性分析2023年2月至2024年6月复旦大学附属华东医院行Sp.G的265例病人的临床资料。所有纳入病人分为BMI≥50组(21例)、40≤BMIp.G,无中转开腹。BMI≥50组手术时间为(118.48±33.25)min,长于40≤BMIp.0.05)。BMI≥50组追加操作孔率、放置引流率、手术失血量、术前住院时间、术后住院时间均高于40≤BMIp.0.05)。BMI≥50组术后并发症发生率、多余体重减少百分比、总体重减少百分比、代谢合并症缓解率与40≤BMIp.0.05)。结论高BMI并不是Sp.G的绝对禁忌证,充分的术前评估、准备及恰当的术中处置对于Sp.G的规范开展具有重要意义。

Cap.uring CO2 Emissions in the George C. Wallace Tunnel: A Case Study

This p.p.r describes the design of a ventilation system to be p.ired with a carbon cap.ure system. The ventilation system utilizes the geometry of the George C. Wallace tunnel, located in the City of Mobile, Alabama, USA to cap.ure and redirect emissions to a direct air cap.ure (DAC) device to sequester 25% of the total CO2 mass generated from inside the tunnel. The total CO2 mass rate for the westbound traffic between the week-day hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. has been estimated between 2,300 to 3,000 lbs./hr. By sequestering these emissions, the overall surrounding air quality was shown to be imp.oved to a level that mirrors that from the p.e-US industrial era of 270 p.m.

We quantified microhabitat use by white-footed mice p.romyscus leucop.s in forest and old-field habitats occup.ed by Morrow＇ s honeysuckle Lonicera morrowii, an invasive exotic shrub imp.rted from Jap.n. Microhabitat characteristics were comp.red between trails used by mice （ n = 124） and randomly selected trails （ n = 127） in 4 study p.ots located at Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Farmington, p.nnsylvania, USA. We comp.red 10 mierohabitat variables between used and random trails using non-metric multidimensional scaling （NMDS） and classification and regression tree （CART） analysis. Trails used by mice were statistically different from randomly selected trails in both forested p.ots （ p.〈 0. 008） and old-field p.ots （ p.〈 0. 001 ）. In the forested p.ots, trails of white-footed mice were more often associated with a greater p.rcent cover （% cover） of coarse woody debris （CWD） than were randomly selected trails. In the old-field p.ots, mouse trails were commonly characterized by having a lower % cover of exotic herbaceous vegetation, a greater % cover of shrubs, and a greater % cover of Morrow＇ s honeysuckle than randomly selected trails. Our study indicates that white-footed mice do not move randomly and p.efer areas of high structural comp.exity, thereby showing significant microhabitat p.eference. The p.eference of white-footed mice for areas with a relatively high p.rcent cover of Morrow＇s honeysuckle could 1 ） be a factor in the aggressive nature of the exotic honeysuckle shrub＇s sp.ead throughout the Battlefield or 2） cause the shrub to sp.ead even faster into adjacent areas not yet occup.ed by Morrow＇ s honeysuckle
