The vitality of European forests continues to decline due to new pests and diseases,climate-change related disturbances and high loads of atmospheric nitrogen *** soil health is a major factor underpinning the low vitality of West-European *** tree species with soil ameliorative traits is proposed as an avenue to counteract soil acidification and improve overall forest *** we evaluate the impact of black cherry(Prunus serotina Ehrh.),a known rich litter species,on the vitality of neighboring pedunculate oak(Quercus robur L.)in ten mixed forests on sand in Germany,Belgium and the *** found that black cherry admixture increases foliar N and P to a surplus whereas it causes deficiencies in foliar Mg,thereby resulting in an overall negative effect on oak foliar nutrient ***,defoliation of oak leaves by herbivory decreases with the proximity of black *** structural equation modelling(SEM),we tested the hypothesized‘improved soil health’*** analyses showed that black cherry admixture leads to lower accumulation in the humus layer,resulting in higher soil base saturation which has a positive effect on foliar Ca yet a negative effect on total ***,the SEM illustrated that herbivory of oak leaves decreases when black cherry is admixed,both via dilution and improved soil *** effects of black cherry on oak vitality via“improved soil health”in our SEM are however small in comparison to direct ***,our study showed that the combined positive and negative impacts of black cherry on oak vitality are limited,which tempers the potential benefits of using the rich litter species to counteract oak decline via improved soil health–yet,the concern of black cherry as an invasive alien species negatively affecting the vitality of mature pedunculate oak trees may also be exaggerated.

Background:Physical activity(PA)has substantial health benefits and is important in combatting chronic diseases,which have been associated with elevated levels of advanced glycation endproducts(AGEs).AGEs play a role in the aging process,and an association between PA and AGEs has been *** aimed to investigate the relationship between PA and AGE accumulation in a general population and in a population with chronic ***:This large cross-sectional population study used data from adult participants in the LifeLines project,with participant information drawn from the LifeLines database as well data from patients with diabetes mellitus or renal and/or cardiovascular *** AGE accumulation was assessed non-invasively by skin-autofluorescence(SAF)using an AGE reader(DiagnOptics Technologies BV,Groningen,the Netherlands).PA was assessed using the short questionnaire to assess health-enhancing physical activity(SQUASH).Multivariate linear regression analyses were adjusted for age,body mass index,sex,and smoking ***:Data from 63,452 participants(general population n=59,177,chronic disease n=4275)were *** general population was significantly younger(43.58±11.77 years,mean±SD)and had significantly lower SAF(1.90±0.42 arbitrary units(AU))compared to the population with chronic disease(age:55.51±12.07 years;SAF:2.27±0.51 AU).In the group with chronic disease,more hours of moderate to vigorous physical activities per week were associated with lower SAF(β=-0.002,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-0.002 to-0.001).For the general population,there was no association between hours of moderate to vigorous activity and SAF(β=3.2×10^(-5),95%CI:0.000-0.001,p=0.742).However,there was an association in the general population between total hours of PA per week and SAF(β=4.2×10^(-4),95%CI:0.000-0.001,p<0.001),but this association was not found in the chronic disease population(β=-3.2×10^(-4),95%CI:-0.001 to 0.000,p=0.347).Conclusion:Our study demons

为揭示多孔沥青混合料孔隙堵塞机理,开展了多孔沥青混合料堵塞模型试验与仿真模拟结合研究;基于电子计算机断层扫描与离散元软件PFC3D V5.0分析了多孔沥青混合料孔隙特征,得到了多孔沥青混合料的孔隙数据;在PFC3D V5.0中投放各粒径集料并根据孔隙特征生成压实虚拟试件,以MATLAB切片对比实际试件孔隙图像验证模型准确性;在自重条件下设置特定级配组成堵塞物侵入多孔沥青混合料试件模拟仿真,并以室内试验结果对照验证,改变投放堵塞物粒径,分析了试件孔隙衰变率,找出了堵塞敏感颗粒;在自重条件下引入流体模拟仿真试验,改变了流体渗流速度,分析了试件堵塞变化规律。研究结果表明:PFC3D V5.0生成的虚拟试件具备较高的精确度,仿真揭示了试件堵塞规律,小颗粒除堆积于喉孔处产生堵塞外,还会在嵌挤成型后与大粒径颗粒积聚产生堵塞;自重条件下的堵塞主要集中在混合料试件上层30 mm处,相应堵塞敏感颗粒粒径分布为0.150~0.600 mm,堵塞颗粒粒径分布对堵塞结果影响较大;在重力与流体条件下,随着渗流速度从0.005 m·s^(-1)增加到0.030 m·s^(-1),孔隙衰变率变化速度增加,残留在混合料内部的堵塞物减少,孔隙衰变率减小,排水沥青路面在设计与养护时也需将当地降雨条件带入考虑。

Periodic noble metal nanoparticles offer a wide spectrum of applications including chemical and biological sensors,optical devices,and model catalysts due to their extraordinary *** sensing purposes and catalytic studies,substrates made of glass or fused-silica are normally required as supports,without the use of metallic adhesion ***,precise patterning of such uniform arrays of silica-supported noble metal nanoparticles,especially at sub-100 nm in diameter,is challenging without adhesion *** this paper,we report a robust method to large-scale fabricate highly ordered sub-20 nm noble metal nanoparticles,i.e.,gold and platinum,supported on silica substrates without adhesion layers,combining displacement Talbot lithography(DTL)with dry-etching *** photoresist nanocolumns at diameters of~110 nm are patterned on metal-coated oxidized silicon wafers using DTL,and subsequently transferred at a 1:1 ratio into anti-reflection layer coating(BARC)nanocolumns with the formation of nano-sharp tips,using nitrogen plasma *** BARC nanocolumns are then used as a mask for etching the deposited metal layer using inclined argon ion-beam *** find that increasing the etching time results in coneshaped silica features with metal nanoparticles on the tips at diameters ranging from 100 nm to sub-30 nm,over large areas of 3×3 cm^(2).Moreover,subsequent annealing these sub-30 nm metal nanoparticle arrays at high-temperature results in sub-20 nm metal nanoparticle arrays with~10^(10) uniform particles.

微胶囊技术在世界上已应用于多个领域,包括医药、食品和化工等,具有广阔的应用前景。将微胶囊引入到沥青材料自修复中,可提高沥青材料的自修复能力并在裂缝产生初期即可自我修复,延长路面使用寿命。与传统的裂缝修补方法相比,微胶囊自修复技术具有节能减排、降低养护成本和防止微裂缝扩展至宏观裂缝等优势。然而,沥青自修复微胶囊技术仍处于初步探索阶段,将微米级微胶囊应用于沥青材料自修复领域还存在着微胶囊强度控制范围不够明确,微胶囊破裂理论尚不成熟,且微胶囊制备工艺参数设计尚不统一等问题。因此,研究者们除研究制备工艺的影响外,还主要从选择合适的制备工艺影响参数和微胶囊的结构与性能方面不断尝试,并取得了丰硕的成果。随着制备工艺的不断成熟和影响参数的不断优化,经原位聚合法制备的微胶囊结构致密、性能优良。目前对掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复的研究仍存在对沥青材料自修复提升效果的评价方法和评价指标尚不统一等问题。掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复效果主要通过不同的指标来体现,包括延度、复数模量、拉伸强度、试件的载荷和沥青混合料的疲劳寿命等。其中,还对掺微胶囊的沥青混合料进行了路用性能研究。通过不同的评价指标表明,微胶囊显著提升了沥青材料的自修复效果;掺微胶囊的沥青混合料的水稳定性和高温稳定性略有下降,低温抗裂性下降较大,但仍满足规范要求。为总结沥青自修复微胶囊的研究进展,本文对比分析了多种自修复微胶囊制备方法的优势和特点,解析了影响微胶囊质量的主要因素(芯壁比、反应温度、终点pH值、乳化转速、酸化时间),总结了微胶囊的结构与性能的表征方法,介绍了掺微胶囊沥青材料自修复性能的评价方法与提升效果,阐述了微胶囊对沥青混合料路用性能的影响,探讨了借助分子动力学手段研究掺微胶囊的沥青材料自修复行为理论的可行性并展望了其未来发展前景,以期为微米级微胶囊的应用与发展提供参考。

贝叶斯统计应用于假设检验的方法——贝叶斯因子——在心理学研究中的应用日渐增加。贝叶斯因子能分别量化所支持的相应假设或模型的证据,进而根据其数值大小做出当前数据更支持哪种假设或模型的判断。然而,国内尚缺乏对方差分析的贝叶斯因子的原理与应用的介绍。基于此,本文首先介绍贝叶斯方差分析的基本思路及计算原理,并结合实例数据,展示如何在JASP中对五种常用的心理学实验设计(单因素组间设计、单因素组内设计、二因素组间设计、二因素组内设计和二因素混合设计)进行贝叶斯方差分析及如何汇报和解读结果。贝叶斯方差分析提供了一个能有效替代传统方差分析的方案,是研究者进行统计推断的有力工具。
