Endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)with fine needle aspiration or fine needle biopsy is the gold standard for sampling tissue to diagnose pancreatic cancer and auto-immune pancreatitis or to analyze cyst *** most common reported adverse event of fine needle aspiration and/or fine needle biopsy is acute pancreatitis,which is likely induced by the same pathophysiological mechanisms as after en-doscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).According to the current European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy guideline,nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are administered prior to ERCP as a scientifically proven treatment to reduce post-ERCP pancreatitis incidence rate.A single suppository of diclofenac or indomethacin prior to EUS guided tissue acquisition(TA)is harm-less in healthy *** it is associated with low costs and,most important,may prevent a dreadsome complication,we strongly recommend the adminis-tration of 100 mg diclofenac rectally prior to *** will explain this recom-mendation in more detail in this review as well as the risk and pathophysiology of post-EUS TA pancreatitis.

Corneal neuromas,also termed microneuromas,refer to microscopic,irregula rly-shaped enlargements of terminal subbasal nerve endings at sites of nerve damage or *** formation of corneal neuromas results from damage to corneal nerves,such as following corneal pathology or corneal or intraocular surge ***,denervated areas of sensory nerve fibers become invaded by sprouts of intact sensory nerve fibers,and later injured axons regenerate and new sprouts called neuromas *** recent years,analysis of corneal nerve abnormalities including corneal neuromas which can be identified using in vivo confocal microscopy,a non-invasive imaging technique with microscopic resolution,has been used to evaluate corneal neuropathy and ocular surface *** neuromas have been shown to be associated with clinical symptoms of discomfort and dryness of eyes,and are a promising surrogate biomarker for ocular surface diseases,such as neuropathic corneal pain,dry eye disease,diabetic corneal neuropathy,neurotrophic keratopathy,Sjogren's syndrome,bullous keratopathy,post-refra ctive surgery,and *** this review,we have summarized the current literature on the association between these ocular surface diseases and the presentation of corneal microneuromas,as well as elaborated on their pathogenesis,visualization via in vivo confocal microscopy,and utility in monitoring treatment *** current quantitative analysis on neuromas mainly relies on manual annotation and quantification,which is user-dependent and labor-intensive,future direction includes the development of artificial intelligence software to identify and quantify these potential imaging biomarkers in a more automated and sensitive manner,allowing it to be applied in clinical settings more *** imaging and molecular biomarkers may also help elucidate the associations between corneal neuromas and ocular surface diseases.

The Impact of Health Information Technology on Hospital Performance: A Systematic Integrative Literature Review

Objective: To review, categorise, and synthesise findings from literature on health information technology (HIT) functionalities, HIT use, and the impact of HIT on hospital performance. Materials and Methods: We conducted a systematic integrative literature review based on a compre-hensive database search. To organise, categorise and synthesise the ex-isting literature, we adopted the affordance actualization theory. To align the literature with our research framework, we used four categories: 1) the functionalities of HIT and how these functionalities are measured;2) use and immediate outcomes of HIT functionalities;3) different perfor-mance indicators and how HIT functionalities affect them;and 4) what hospital characteristics influence the outcome of hospital performance. Results: Fifty-two studies were included. We identified four types of HIT. Only ten studies (19.2%) define the use of HIT by explicitly meas-uring the use rate of HIT. We identified five dimensions of hospital per-formance indicators. Every dimension showed mixed results;however, in general, HIT has a positive impact on mortality and patient readmis-sions. We found several hospital characteristics that may affect the rela-tionship between HIT and hospital-level outcomes. Discussion: Further efforts should focus on embedded research on HIT functionalities, use and effects of HIT implementations with more performance indicators and adjusted for hospital characteristics. Conclusion: The proposed framework could help hospitals and researchers make decisions regard-ing the functionalities, use and effects of HIT implementation in hospi-tals. Given our research outcomes, we suggest future research opportuni-ties to improve understanding of how HIT affects hospital performance. .

Achilles tendon;Achilles tendinopathy;Intratendinous pressure;Glycosaminoglycans;Tendon fluid Background:Tendinopathy alters the compositional properties of the Achilles tendon by increasing fluid and glycosaminoglycan *** has been speculated that these changes may affect intratendinous pressure,but the extent of this relationship remains ***,we aimed to investigate the impact of elevated fluid and glycosaminoglycan content on Achilles tendon intratendinous pressure and to determine whether hyaluronidase(HYAL)therapy can intervene in this potential ***:Twenty paired fresh-frozen cadaveric Achilles tendons were mounted in a tensile-testing machine and loaded up to 5%*** resting(at 0%strain)and dynamic pressure(at 5%strain)were assessed using the microcapillary infusion ***,intratendinous pressure was measured under native conditions before and after infusion of 2 mL physiological ***,80 mg of glycosaminoglycans were administered bilaterally to the paired *** right tendons were additionally treated with 1500 units of ***,both groups were retested,and the glycosaminoglycan content was ***:It was found that both elevated fluid and glycosaminoglycan content resulted in higher intratendinous resting and dynamic pressures(p<0.001).HYAL treatment induced a 2.3-fold reduction in glycosaminoglycan content(p=0.002)and restored intratendinous ***:The results of this study demonstrated that elevated fluid and glycosaminoglycan content in Achilles tendinopathy contribute to increased intratendinous resting and dynamic pressures,which can be explained by the associated increased volume and reduced permeability of the tendon matrix,*** degrades glycosaminoglycans sufficiently to lower intratendinous pressures and may,therefore,serve as a promising treatment.

REBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7−δ)(REBCO,RE=rare earth)tapes doped with 5%and 15%Zr have been scaled up to lengths more than 40 m in a pilot‐scale advanced metal organic chemical vapor deposition(A‐MOCVD)*** precursor compositions used for the long tapes were guided by a study of the influence of(Ba+dopant)/Cu content on the critical current density(Jc)of 5 and 15 mol.%Hf‐and Zr‐added tapes at 4.2 K and 13 *** 40‐mlong tapes exhibited a critical current(Ic)over 4,000 A/12 mm at 4.2 K and 13 T as well as over 1,400 A/12 mm at 20 K and 20 *** critical current densities of a 40‐m‐long tape doped with 5%Zr at 4.2 K measured at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory(NHMFL)were>10 MAcm^(−2)and>5 MAcm^(−2)at 14 T and 30 T,respectively,which are over three times those of commercial REBCO *** infield Jc of 5%Zradded 40‐m‐long tapes was similar to those of previously‐reported high‐performance short samples made with 15%Zr or *** results demonstrate the excellent potential of A‐MOCVD for manufacturing high Ic REBCO tapes for use in ultrahigh‐field magnet applications.

The availability of nitrogen(N)is crucial for both the productivity of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems ***,the overuse of artificial fertilizers and the energy required to fix nitrogen have pushed the global nitrogen cycle(N-cycle)past its safe operating limits,leading to severe nitrogen pollution and the production of significant amounts of greenhouse gas nitrous oxide(N2O).The anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox)mechanism can counteract the release of ammonium and N2O in many oxygenlimited situations,assisting in the restoration of the homeostasis of the Earth’s N *** this work,we looked into the characteristics of the anammox hotspots’distribution across various types of ecosystems *** hotspots are present at diverse oxic-anoxic interfaces in terrestrial systems,and they are most prevalent at the oxic-anoxic transition zone in aquatic *** on the discovery of an anammox hotspot capable of oxidizing ammonium anoxically into N2 without N2O by-product,we then designed an innovative concept and technical routes of nature-based anammox hotspot geoengineering for climate change,biodiversity loss,and efficient utilization of water *** 15 years of actual use,anammox hotspot geoengineering has proven to be effective in ensuring clean drinking water,regulating the climate,fostering plant and animal diversity,and enhancing longterm environmental *** sustainable biogeoengineering of anammox could be a workable natural remedy to resolve the conflicts between environmental pollution and food security connected to N management.

短神经肽F(sNPF)肽家族是参与调控昆虫体内各种生理过程的多功能神经激素。它们广泛分布于生物体中，但前体分子中的异构体数量因物种而异，从一个到四个不等。sNPF受体（sNPFR）属于G蛋白偶联受体家族，在多种昆虫目中已有表征，并被证明是哺乳动物泌乳素释放肽受体（PrPR）的同源物。sNPF信号通路通过与其他神经激素（例如类胰岛素肽、SIFamide和色素分散因子（PDFs））的相互作用以调控多种生理过程。其主要生理功能涉及摄食的调节，但观察到的效应因物种而异。sNPF还与觅食行为和嗅觉系统的调节相关。其对摄食及能量代谢的影响还可能间接影响其他重要过程，例如繁殖和发育。此外，这些神经激素还参与昆虫的运动活动和昼夜节律的调节。本文回顾并总结了昆虫中sNPF系统的现阶段研究进展。
