Parkinson’s disease(PD)is a complicated neurodegenerative disease,characterized by the accumulation ofα-synuclein(α-syn)in Lewy bodies and neurites,and massive loss of midbrain dopamine *** evidence suggests that gut microbiota and microbial metabolites are involved in the development of *** these,short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),the most abundant microbial metabolites,have been proven to play a key role in brain-gut *** this review,we analyze the role of SCFAs in the pathology of PD from multiple dimensions and summarize the alterations of SCFAs in PD patients as well as their correlation with motor and non-motor *** research should focus on further elucidating the role of SCFAs in neuroinflammation,as well as developing novel strategies employing SCFAs and their derivatives to treat PD.

Surface defects can affect the quality of steel *** methods based on computer vision are currently applied to surface defect detection of steel ***,their real-time performance and object detection of small defect are still *** improved object detection network based on You Only Look One-level Feature(YOLOF)is proposed to show excellent performance in surface defect detection of steel plate,called ***,the anchor-free detector is used to reduce the network ***,deformable convolution network and local spatial attention module are introduced into the feature extraction network to increase the contextual information in the feature ***,the soft non-maximum suppression is used to improve detection accuracy ***,data augmentation is performed for small defect objects during training to improve detection *** show the average precision and average precision for small objects are 42.7%and 33.5%at a detection speed of 62 frames per second on a single GPU,*** shows that DLF-YOLOF has excellent performance to meet the needs of industrial real-time detection.

Developing advanced hydrogen storage materials with high capacity and efficient reversibility is a crucial aspect for utilizing hydrogen source as a promising alternate to fossil *** this paper,we have systematically investigated the hydrogen storage properties of neutral and negatively charged C_(9)N_(4) monolayer based on density functional theory(DFT).Our foundings indicate that injecting additional electrons into the adsorbent significantly boosts the adsorption capacity of C_(9)N_(4) monolayer to H2 *** gravimetric density of negatively charged C_(9)N_(4) monolayer can reach up to 10.80 wt% when fully covered with *** other hydrogen storage methods,the storage and release processes happen automatically upon introducing or removing extra ***,these operations can be easily adjusted through activating or deactivating the charging *** a result,the method is easily reversible and has tunable kinetics without requiring particular ***,C_(9)N_(4) is proved to be a suitable candidate for efficient electron injection/release due to its well electrical *** work can serve as a valuable guide in the quest for a novel category of materials for hydrogen storage with high capacity.

The mixed distribution model is often used to extract information from heteroge-neous data and perform modeling *** the density function of mixed distribution is complicated or the variable dimension is high,it usually brings challenges to the parameter es-timation of the mixed distribution *** application of MM algorithm can avoid complex expectation calculations,and can also solve the problem of high-dimensional optimization by decomposing the objective *** this paper,MM algorithm is applied to the parameter estimation problem of mixed distribution *** method of assembly and decomposition is used to construct the substitute function with separable parameters,which avoids the problems of complex expectation calculations and the inversion of high-dimensional matrices.

Objective To study the prevalence of different types of neural tube defects （NTDs） in Luliang Prefecture, Shanxi province, where the prevalence of NTDs is unusually high and the correlation between NTDs prevalence and patterns. Methods A surveillance population-based birth defects was performed in Luliang Prefecture, Shanxi province. Results The results of our study showed that the prevalence of NTDs was 2-fold higher in Luliang Prefecture than in other areas of Shanxi province. Unusual patterns of NTDs were found, however, multiple NTDs were relatively common in Luliang Prefecture, accounting for over 13% of all NTDs cases in China. Conclusion The prevalence of NTDs is associated with its patterns.

In the contemporary context,tetracycline is widely utilized as a prevalent antibiotic in various facets of ***,the excessive use of antibiotics has caused visible environmental ***,the scientific community has increasingly focused on developing catalysts that exhibit exceptional efficacy in the proficient degradation of *** this study,a novel nanomaterial was developed to encapsulate Cd Te quantum dots （QDs） with a *** distinct synthesis approach generated a composite material that showed heterogeneity and considerably increased the contact area with ***,the transfer of photoelectron to the SiO2spheres was significantly improved,leading to a more efficient separation during the catalytic *** study investigated how different factors,such as the loading of the catalyst,the initial concentration of tetracycline,p H levels,and the wight ratio of Cd Te QDs （SiO2+Cd Te QDs） affected the effectiveness of photocatalytic tetracycline *** findings indicated that the optimal degradation efficiency was observed at a catalyst concentration of 0.25 g/L and a solution p H of 9,leading to an impressive degradation rate of 96%within a mere 2 h timeframe.

Efficient Preparation and Electrochemical Properties of BiOCl/Graphite by One-step Solvothermal Method

We used the surface-pretreated graphite paper(Gp)as a carrier and loaded BiOCl with high selectivity to Cl^(-)on its surface by solvothermal method to form BiOCl@Gp *** morphology,structure,and composition of the materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption/desorption,and the results showed that the spherical BiOCl particles were uniformly dispersed on the surface of the Gp,forming a mesoporous BiOCl@Gp composite with a specific surface area of 22.82 m^(2)/g and a pore volume of 0.043 cm3/***,cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to test the electrochemical properties of the composites,and the stability of BiOCl and the high conductivity of Gp were synergistic,the BiOCl@Gp exhibited a specific capacitance of 30.2 F·g^(-1) at a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1),and the selectivity of the BiOCl@Gp materials for Cl^(-)was significantly higher than that of SO_(4)^(2-),NO_(2)^(-),and HCO_(3)^(-).Therefore,BiOCl@Gp composite electrode materials can be used for the selective adsorption of Cl^(-)in wastewater,in order to achieve efficient wastewater recycling.

Finite Element Method Simulation of Wellbore Stability under Different Operating and Geomechanical Conditions

The variation of the principal stress of formations with the working and geo-mechanical conditions can trigger wellbore instabilities and adversely affect the well completion.A finite element model,based on the theory of poro-elasticity and the Mohr-Coulomb rock damage criterion,is used here to analyze such a *** changes in wellbore stability before and after reservoir acidification are simulated for different pressure *** results indicate that the risk of wellbore instability grows with an increase in the production-pressure difference regardless of whether acidification is completed or not;the same is true for the instability *** acidizing,the changes in the main geomechanical parameters(i.e.,elastic modulus,Poisson’s ratio,and rock strength)cause the maximum wellbore instability coefficient to increase.
