Passive neutron multiplicity device for^(240)Pu measurement based on FPGA

A passive neutron multiplicity measurement device,FH-NCM/S1,based on field-programmable gate arrays(FPGAs),is developed specifically for measuring the mass of plutonium-240(^(240)Pu)in mixed oxide ***-NCM/S1 adopts an inte-grated approach,combining the shift register analysis mode with the pulse-position timestamp mode using an *** optimal effective length of the^(3)He neutron detector was determined to be 30 cm,and the thickness of the graphite reflector was ascertained to be 15 cm through MCNP *** fabricating the device,calibration measurements were per-formed using a^(252)Cf neutron source;a detection efficiency of 43.07%and detector die-away time of 55.79μs were *** samples of plutonium oxide were measured under identical conditions using the FH-NCM/S1 in shift register analysis mode and a plutonium waste multiplicity *** obtained double rates underwent corrections for detection efficiency(ε)and double gate fraction(f_(d)),resulting in corrected double rates(D_(c)),which were used to validate the accuracy of the shift register analysis ***,the device exhibited fluctuations in the measurement results,and within a single 20 s measurement,these fluctuations remained below 10%.After 30 cycles,the relative error in the mass of^(240)Pu was less than 5%.Finally,correlation calculations confirmed the robust consistency of both measurement *** study holds specific significance for the subsequent design and development of neutron multiplicity devices.

Organic matter is the basis for oil and gas generation,and the depositional environment controls its *** first member of the Qingshankou Formation(K_(2)qn^(1))in Songliao Basin has a thick organic-rich shale and so is an important target section for shale oil exploration and *** the Gulong Sag,shale samples from this unit were collected over the full length of the *** characterization of the environments of deposition(EOD)of K_(2)qn^(1)was improved by utilizing lithological characteristics,thin section observations,elemental compositions,and organic carbon *** with the normalization coefficients proposed in this paper,an organic matter correlation model was established to elucidate the factors that influence organic matter *** the bottom to the top of K2qn1,the lake depth gradually becomes shallower,the primary productivity first decreases and then increases,the reducing conditions become stronger and then weaker,the water salinity gradually decreases,the climate first becomes semi-humid and then warm and humid,and the input of terrigenous debris first decreases and then increases.A major marine transgression at the base of the K_(2)qn^(1)᾽s brought in nutrients to increase primary productivity,and the density-stratified reducing environment preserved and enriched organic *** primary productivity occurred during the middle of the deposition of the K_(2)qn^(1),while terrigenous input is *** matter is preserved in reduced deep lake environments,resulting in organic matter-rich black *** lake became shallower,and the salinity decreased in the upper part of K_(2)qn^(1).Benthic organisms rapidly multiplied,consuming large amounts of oxygen and destroying the previously depositional environment,resulting in a reducing environment disturbed by benthic organisms with poor preservation conditions and the lowest organic matter content.

Three new ent-kaurane diterpenoids fimbrialtols K–M（3–5） with highly substituted functionalities were isolated from the extract of Flickingeria fimbriata（B1.） Hawkes. The structures of these new compounds were determined by NMR and HR-ESIMS. The relative configurations of these compounds were determined by analysis of NOESY correlations. The absolute configurations of these new compounds were established by CD methods together with considering the biosynthetic pathway. Compounds 3 and4 contain a cinnamic carboxyl group, whereas compound 5 possesses a benzoic carboxyl group representing the first report in more than known 600 ent-kaurane diterpenoids.

A Joint Learning Framework for the CCKS-2020 Financial Event Extraction Task

This paper presents a winning solution for the CCKS-2020 financial event extraction task, where the goal is to identify event types, triggers and arguments in sentences across multiple event types. In this task, we focus on resolving two challenging problems(i.e., low resources and element overlapping) by proposing a joint learning framework, named SaltyFishes. We first formulate the event extraction task as a joint probability model. By sharing parameters in the model across different types, we can learn to adapt to low-resource events based on high-resource events. We further address the element overlapping problems by a mechanism of Conditional Layer Normalization, achieving even better extraction accuracy. The overall approach achieves an F1-score of 87.8% which ranks the first place in the competition.

Primary hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma: A malignant potential tumor which should be recognized

AIM: To improve the clinical diagnosis and recognition of hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma(HEAML).METHODS: Four cases of primary HEAML were confirmed based on the pathology archive system in our hospital from January 2009 to November 2015. The general state, clinical symptoms, imaging manifestations, histological results and immunohistochemistry of these patients were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Studies of HEAML published in the last 15 years were collected from Pub Med and MEDLINE to summarize the clinical symptoms, imaging characteristics, pathological features and management of ***: Four cases of primary HEAML were retrieved from our archives. These included three female patients and one male patient, with a mean age of 41.8 ± 11.5 years(ranging from 31 to 56 years). The meantumor size was 7.3 ± 5.5 cm(ranging from 3.0 to 15 cm). In the contrast-enhanced imaging, the tumor was obviously enhanced in the arterial phase, but enhanced continuously or exhibited a slow-density masse during the venous and delayed phases. Histologically, the tumors mainly consisted of epithelioid cells that comprised approximately 95% of the total neoplastic mass. Although no metastases occurred in our patients, pathological studies revealed necrosis, mitotic figures and liver invasion in two patients, which indicates aggressive behavior. Immunohistochemical staining revealed that human melanoma black 45(HMB-45) and Melan-A were positive in 4 cases. We only identified 81 cases with primary HEAML, including our present patients, from 26 articles available from Pub Med and MEDLINE. The majority of the papers were published as case reports. Only 5(5/75, 6%) cases were associated with tuberous sclerosis complex(TSC). More than half(35/66) were discovered incidentally upon physical examination. Heavy rare-earth element doping can effectively strengthen phonon scattering,suppress the lattice thermal conductivity,and enhance the overall thermoelectric performance of ***,the large electronegativity difference between rare-earth elements(such as La,Eu,and Gd)and Ge refrains the doping limit of rare-earth elements below 1 mol.%in ***,compared with other rare earth elements,Lu was found to have a relatively small radius and electronegativity difference with Ge,which can induce a high doping level in *** result shows that Lu doping effectively reduces the lattice thermal conductivity from 0.77 W^(−1) m K^(−1) of GeTe to 0.35 W m^(−1) K^(−1) of Ge_(0.98)Lu_(0.02)Te at 673 K,and further induces a high zT value of 1.5 in Ge_(0.98)Lu_(0.02)Te at 673 *** Sb alloying optimizes the carrier concentration from 1.02×10^(21) cm^(−3) of Ge_(0.98)Lu_(0.02)Te to 1.77×10^(20) cm^(−3) of Ge0.90Lu0.02Sb0.08Te,which results in a reasonable power factor of 33.82μW cm^(−1) K^(−2) and a low electrical thermal conductivity of 0.75 W m^(−1) K^(−1) at 673 K in Ge_(0.90)Lu_(0.02)Sb_(0.08)***,a peak zT of 1.75 at 673 K and an average zT of 0.92 within the temperature range of 303–723 K are obtained in Ge_(0.9)Lu_(0.02)Sb_(0.08)*** study indicates that Lu and Sb co-doping can effectively boost the thermoelectric performance of GeTe-based thermoelectric materials.

Types and microstructures of pores in shales of the Ordovician Wulalike Formation at the western margin of the Ordos Basin, China

Shale samples from the Ordovician Wulalike Formation at the western margin of the Ordos Basin are studied to define the types, microstructures and connectivity of pores as well as the relationships between the pore structures and gas content of the samples by using experimental techniques such as high-resolution field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), mercury injection capillary pressure (MICP), low-temperature nitrogen adsorption (LTNA), CO_(2) adsorption, and focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy (FIB-SEM). The results show that the shale has 10 different lithofacies, typical mixed sedimentary characteristics, and poorly developed pores. The reservoir space mainly consists of intercrystalline pores, dissolution pores, intergranular pores, and micro-fissures, with organic pores occasionally visible. The pore size is mostly within 0.4–250 nm range but dominated by micropores and mesopores less than 20 nm, with pore numbers peaking at pore sizes of 0.5 nm, 0.6 nm, 0.82 nm, 3 nm, and 10 nm, respectively. The pores are poorly connected and macropores are rarely seen, which may explain the low porosity and low permeability of the samples. Samples with high content of organic matter and felsic minerals are potential reservoirs for oil and gas with their favorable physical properties and high connectivity. The pores less than 5 nm contribute significantly to the specific surface area and serve as important storage space for adsorbed gas.

BACKGROUND Primary intracranial alveolar soft-part sarcoma(PIASPS)is a rare *** aimed to investigate the clinical profiles and outcomes for *** SUMMARY We firstly reported five consecutive cases from our ***,the cases from previous studies were pooled and analyzed to delineate the characteristics of this *** cohort included two males and three *** median age was 21-years-old(range:8-54-years-old).All the patients received surgical *** total resection(GTR),radiotherapy,and chemotherapy were administered in 3 patients,4 patients,and 1 patient,*** a median follow-up of 36 mo,tumor progression was noticed in 4 patients;and 3 patients died of the *** data(n=14)contained 5 males and 9 females with a median age of 19 *** log-rank tests showed that GTR(P=0.011)could prolong progression-free survival,and radiotherapy(P<0.001)resulted in longer overall *** Patients with PIASPS suffer from poor *** treatment is the first choice,and GTR should be achieved when the tumor is *** with PIASPS benefit from radiotherapy,which should be considered as a part of treatment therapies.
