In this study,coffee pulp(Coffea arabica)and green tea(Camellia sinensis)residues were characterized for use as a substrate of solid-state fermentation for cellulases *** invasion rate was evaluated,as well as cellulases production by strains of Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma asperellum from the western Ghats of India,on coffee pulp,green tea,and a mixture of both substrates(50:50).***(AFP)strain was found to have the highest growth rate(0.409±0.021 mm/h)using a mixture of both *** production of cellulases by *** was unsatisfactory due to the presence of polyphenols in the supports to which *** cellulases are more *** production of cellulases by *** was linked to the pH of the supports,favouring the use of T and *** was found that the extracts produced by ***(28A strain using a mixture substrate,28A,and 20A strains using only green tea as a substrate)presented the highest cellulase activities when evaluated using a plate technique producing degradation halos of 2.3±0.1 cm of *** 28A strain did not require mineral enrichment media for cellulase production using green tea residues as support of solid-state fermentation.

Effect of substrate rotation speed on structure and properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films prepared by rf-sputtering

This paper analyses the concept of a Limit Set in Parameter Optimal Iterative Learning Control （ILC）. We investigate the existence of stable and unstable parts of Limit Set and demonstrates that they will often exist in practice. This is illustrated via a 2-dimensional example where the convergence of the learning algorithm is analyzed from the error＇s dynamic behaviour. These ideas are extended to the N-dimensional cases by analogy and example.

Cryptomelane has been widely applied as catalyst in oxidation reactions due to its excellent redox properties and low ***,a novel one-pot hydrothermal synthesis using a potassium permanganate aqueous solution as precursor and ethanol as reducing agent has successfully been developed to obtain cryptomelane *** synthetic route makes it possible to control the amount of potassium incorporated into the structure of the cryptomelane by selecting the appropriate synthesis temperature and ethanol initial *** advantage of this approach,the effect of potassium concentration on the structural stability and reducibility of the cryptomelane,which are poorly discussed in the literature,has been *** have observed that samples with low content of potassium(~11%)show high conversions of CO to CO2 especially at low *** lower activity of the samples with high K contents(~16%)can be ascribed to the beneficial effect of K on the structural stability of cryptomelane in detriment of labile oxygen on cryptomelane surface.

Measuring Herbage Mass by Non-Destructive Methods： A Review

Accurate assessment of herbage mass （HM） in pasture is a key to budgeting forage in grazing systems worldwide. Different non-destructive techniques to measuring pasture yield are commented. The methods compared include visual estimations, manual and electronic pasture meters and remote sensing. All methods are associated with a moderate to high error, showing that some indirect methods of yield estimation are appropriate under most appropriate because many factors as climate variations, soil certain conditions. In general terms, no method was found as the characteristics, plant phenology, pasture management and species composition must be taken into account to make local calibrations from a general model. Best results were found modifying general methods under local calibrations and under local conditions. In order to give farmers the best method to manage adequately their own grazing systems, researchers must select the most suitable technique considering the scale of operation, the desired accuracy and the resources available.

Dear Editor, During recent decades, a novel mechanism of secretion has been identified in a wide range of mammalian cells. It involves the release of bioactive membrane nanovesicles （30-100 nm）, termed exosomes, upon the fusion of multivesicular bodies with the plasma membrane （Thery et al., 2009）. Exosomes are implicated in diverse functions, such as scavenging of archaic proteins, intercellular messengers delivering cell-specific signals, and vehicles for transmissible pathogens. Exosomes have also been described in other organisms such as bacte- ria, Drosophila, and fungi.

＜正＞The use of uttered Personal Identification Numbers （PIN） is a well-suited approach for person identification through voice in real applications. In this paper, speaker verification with short 4-digit strings, in a pragmatic perspective where very few utterances for training are available, is accomplished. The problem here arises due to the small quantity of voice available in short PIN utterances. Furthermore, it has to be taken into account the specificity of Spanish in this task, as digit strings are not uttered in a isolated digit-by-digit basis, but mentally grouped without constraints, and read as whole figures, with varying groups for different utterances of the same PIN. This specific factor induces high dependency on the phonetic contents of the PIN, and complicates considerably the design of text-dependent systems. Considering this, a textindependent GMM speaker verification system, including ’nearest reference speaker’ and ’universal background model’ score normalization, together with CMN channel compensation, has been evaluated over a specific PIN database, where different training conditions （phonetic dependent/independent） are tested.

Near shore seismic movements induced by seaquakes using the boundary element method

This study quantifies seismic amplifications in near-shore arising from seaquakes. Within the Boundary Element Method, boundary elements are used to irradiate waves and force densities obtained for each element. Huygens′ Principle is implemented since the diffracted waves are constructed at the boundary from which they are radiated, which is equivalent to Somigliana′s theorem. Application of boundary conditions leads to a system of integral equations of the Fredholm type of second kind and zero order. Several numerical configurations are analyzed： The first is used to verify the present formulation with ideal sea floor configurations to estimate seismic amplifications. With the formulation verified, simple slope configurations are studied to estimate spectra of seismic motions. It is found that P-waves can produce seismic amplifications from 1.2 to 3.9 times the amplitude of the incident wave. SV-waves can generate seismic amplifications up to 4.5 times the incident wave. Another relevant finding is that the highest amplifications are at the shore compared to the ones at the sea floor.

重点研究钒微合金化高锰（20%~30%）TWIP钢的静态软化和应变诱导析出行为,考察了不同钒含量（0.1%、0.2%）和碳含量（0.2%、0.6%、1%）的影响,目标是确定钒在热轧后还能有进一步析出强化作用的条件（如：成分、热加工参数）。在700~1100℃温度范围内进行了双道次扭转试验,还对卷取进行了模拟（从700℃到550℃）。采用先进的分析方法,如通过EBSD来确定晶粒尺寸和再结晶分数,采用TEM来分析析出物。结果表明,在热加工温度范围内,钒的析出相对迟缓,而且只在20%Mn-0.6%C-0.2%V或30%Mn-1%C-0.1%V的成分条件下发生。将碳含量降低到0.2%时,只在650℃和700℃模拟卷取后才能观察到析出物。另外,在有应变诱导析出发生的情况下,回复、再结晶和应变诱导析出之间有着复杂的相互影响。静态再结晶被明显推迟,导致回复对软化动力学具有重要影响。
