Among degenerative musculoskeletal disorders,osteoarthritis remains one of the main causes of pain and disability in the adult *** available alternatives to alleviate symptoms include conservative treatments such as physical therapy,anti-inflammatory drugs and an educational approach to lifestyle *** use of certain analgesics,such as opiates and corticosteroids offer short-term results but does not address the etiological source of pain and *** addition,prolonged use of such medications can cause additional ***,the demand for regeneration of joint cartilage has led to an alternative approach called"orthobiologics".This alternative is based on cellular and molecular components capable of inducing and promoting tissue *** derived from adipose tissue have been studied as an excellent source of orthobiologics in an attempt to promote joint cartilage ***,the lack of standardization regarding collection and processing protocols presents a challenge for the generalization of study results and determination of *** the best of our knowledge,orthobiologics derived from fat have not yet been ***,this manuscript proposes the hGS classification system which aims to describe certain parameters that are relevant to the quality of organic products regarding harvesting techniques(h),graft type(G),and number of centrifugations(S).The more parameters used would imply greater characterization and complexity of the evaluation of the biological product *** hGS classification may provide a valuable contribution to the understanding of clinical procedures and research results,aiming to ultimately usher in a standardization of optimal practice.

The study aimed to develop beverages composed of fruits and soy extract,to evaluate the microbiology,colorimetry and the effects of refrigerated storage(4±2℃)on the physicochemical *** concentrate(50,55,60,65,70,75 and 80%)and myrtle pulp(30,25,20,15,10,5 and 0%)were used for the preparation of seven beverage formulations composed in different proportions,added with inulin and sweetened with honey *** analyzes were performed after processing and physicochemical stability was determined every 4 days for 8 *** beverages composed showed adequate microbiological quality after *** partial replacement of myrtle pulp by mango concentrate influenced mainly the colorimetric parameters,as well as ph,total acidity,total soluble solids and TSS/TTA *** beverages with greater stability were those made with 50 and 55%mango and 30 and 25%myrtle,respectively,both with 13%soy *** is inferred that the development of beverage composed of fruits and soy for specific emerging audiences may be viable,and complementary analyzes and a longer storage period are recommended for more stable beverages.

Comparative Analysis of Metals in Seafood from Rio Doce Coastal Areas and Regional Fish Markets

On November 5, 2015, the Fundão dam breached (the “Event”), releasing water, tailings, dam construction material, and debris to downstream watercourses. Over 20 million cubic meters of fine particles from the tailings, as well as scoured soil and sediments, reached the Rio Doce estuary and surrounding marine area 17 days later. Fishing was banned by the Federal Court of Espírito Santo in February 2016. The fishing ban area included the coastal area near the mouth of the Rio Doce and seaward to a depth of 25 meters, south to Barra do Riacho, and north to Degredo Beach. In june 2019, the Brazilian health agency, Anvisa, published a risk assessment for fish consumption which recommended daily consumption limits for fish of 200 grams for adults and 50 grams for children for both continental and coastal areas of the Rio Doce basin. Comparative analyses were performed between metal concentrations in marine fish and crustaceans collected in the banned fishing area to reference areas and commercialized seafood markets along the Brazilian coast. The results reveal that metals detected in seafood tissue collected in the fishing ban area are not significantly different than other reference areas or from commercially available seafood. This result indicates that elevated metal concentrations in seafood are a regional problem, unrelated to the Event. higher concentrations of metals in fish in reference areas outside of the fishing ban area as well as in commercial seafood markets demonstrates that the risk management approach of a localized fishing ban is ineffective for reducing risk to the population related to seafood consumption. .

Soil salinity is among the abiotic stressors that threaten agriculture the most,and purslane(Portulaca oleracea l.)is a dicot species adapted to inland salt desert and saline habitats that hyper accumulates salt and has high phytoremediation *** researchers consider purslane a suitable model species to study the mechanisms of plant tolerance to drought and salt ***,a robust salinity stress protocol was developed and used to characterize the morphophysiological responses of young purslane plants to salinity stress;then,leaf tissue underwent characterization by distinct omics platforms to gain further insights into its response to very high salinity *** salinity stress protocol did generate different levels of stress by gradients of electrical conductivity at field capacity and water potential in the saturation extract of the substrate,and the morphological parameters indicated three distinct stress *** expected from a halophyte species,these plants remained alive under very high levels of salinity stress,showing salt crystal-like structures constituted mainly by Na^(+),Cl^(−),and K^(+)on and around closed stomata.A comprehensive and large-scale metabolome and transcriptome single and integrated analyses were then employed using leaf *** multi-omics integration(MOI)system analysis led to a data-set of 51 metabolic pathways with at least one enzyme and one metabolite differentially expressed due to salinity *** data sets(of genes and metabolites)are valuable for future studies aimed to deepen our knowledge on the mechanisms behind the high tolerance of this species to salinity *** conclusion,besides showing that this species applies salt exclusion already in young plants to support very high levels of salinity stress,the initial analysis of metabolites and transcripts data sets already give some insights into other salt tolerance mechanisms used by this species to support high levels of salinity stress.

just in Time Education: Educational Technology for Professional’s health

Objective: Verify if the educational technology based on just in Time Education is relevant to Permanent health Education in Workers’ health. Method: This study is exploratory and descriptive qualitative research. Were performed semi-structured interviews were carried out with the worker’s health team of a large company from the South of Brazil region. The collected data were carried out in 2021, between january and May, through the virtual environment, with eight participants from the Work health Team of Eletrosul, located in Florianópolis, who agreed to participate in the research by signing the Free and Informed Consent Term, in accordance with the data saturation criterion. The research was approved by the Ethics Committee (n. 4079133) and the data were submitted to Bardin for thematic content analysis. Result: The results are presented from three categories: 1) Expansion and inclusion in Permanent Education needs;2) Tools adopted in educational processes;3) just in Time Education: educational technology for workers’ health. Conclusion: The active methodology just in Time Education helps the processes of Permanent Education in health, which moved from a face-to-face model to e-learning and required the knowledge renewal in the technology area to maintain efficient communication. This methodology allows quick and accurate access to information from a reliable, adequate, and up-to-date source, causing a positive impact on the qualified and problem-solving work process, in line with the needs of the employer and the company. Therefore, just in Time Education can provide standardization, organization, and informational and operational quality necessary in this context, in addition to serving as an indicator and data generator (management tool).

CSCs （Cancer stem cells） have been involved in tumor resistance, metastasis and recurrence. In breast cancer, tumor cells are characterized by CD44＋, CD24-/low and AlDh 1 expression represents a subpopulation of BCSC （breast cancer stem cell）. Several three-dimensional （3D） in vitro culturing cancer cells have been used to stimulate BCSC phenotype. The present study aimed to evaluate 3D cell culture in alginate matrix and the CD44, CD24 and AlDh1 mRNA levels of BCSC markers. The 3D culture was performed using Mda-MB-231 breast cancer cell line on alginate matrix 1.2% in RPMI medium. Expression of BCSC markers was evaluated by Real Time PCR （Polymerase Chain Reaction） comparing 3D to 2D culture. The 3D cultures increase of CD44 and CD24 mRNA levels and induce AlDh1 expression comparing to 2D culture. The data suggest that 3D alginate matrix alters the mRNA levels of genes involved in the phenotypic characteristics of BCSC.

BACKGROUND The impact of perioperative blood transfusion on short-and long-term outcomes in pediatric living donor liver transplantation(PlDlT)must still be ascertained,mainly among young *** and surgical postoperative complications related to perioperative blood transfusion are well described up to three months after adult liver *** To determine whether transfusion is associated with early and late postoperative complications and mortality in small patients undergoing *** We evaluated the effects of perioperative transfusion on postoperative complications in recipients up to 20 kg of body weight,submitted to PlDlT.A total of 240 patients were retrospectively allocated into two groups according to postoperative complications:Minor complications(n=109)and major complications(n=131).Multiple logistic regression analysis identified the volume of perioperative packed red blood cells(RBC)transfusion as the only independent risk factor for major postoperative *** receiver operating characteristic curve was drawn to identify the optimal volume of the perioperative RBC transfusion related to the presence of major postoperative complications,defining a cutoff point of 27.5 ml/***,patients were reallocated to a low-volume transfusion group(lTr;n=103,RBC≤27.5 ml/kg)and a high-volume transfusion group(hTr;n=137,RBC>27.5 ml/kg)so that the outcome could be *** high-volume transfusion was associated with an increased number of major complications and mortality during hospitalization up to a 10-year follow-up *** a short-term period,the hTr showed an increase in major infectious,cardiovascular,respiratory,and bleeding complications,with a decrease in rejection complications compared to the *** a long-term period,the hTr showed an increase in major infectious,cardiovascular,respiratory,and minor neoplastic complications,with a decrease in rejection ***,Cox hazard regr

Radar Absorbing Materials(RAM)are a class of composites that can attenuate incident electromagnetic waves to avoid radar *** carbon allotropes that have the potential to be used as RAM are either carbon nano-tubes(CNTs),graphene,carbon black(CB)and ultimately,sustainable porous carbon(SPC).here,black wattle bark waste(following tannin extraction)was used as a sustainable source to produce SPC made from biomass *** was characterized and used as afiller for a silicone rubber matrix to produce aflexible *** elec-tromagnetic performance of this composite was compared with composites made with commercial CB and CNT through reflection loss(Rl),where-10 dB is equivalent to 90%of *** composites were evaluated in single-layer,double-layer,and as radar absorbing structures(RAS)with the aim of improving their effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)performances and a reduction in *** CNT composite presented a Rl of-26.85 dB at 10.89 Ghz and an EAB of 2.6 Ghz with a 1.9 mm thickness,while the double-layer structures using CNT and SPC provided a Rl of-19.74 dB at 10.75 Ghz and an EAB of 2.51 ***,the double-layer structures are~42%cheaper than the composite using only CNT since less material is ***,the largest EAB was achieved with a RAS using SPC,reaching~2.8 Ghz and a Rl of-49.09 dB at 10.4 ***,SPC made of black wattle bark waste can be a competitive,alternative material for use as RAM and RAS since it is cheaper,sustainable,and suitable for daily life uses such as absorbers for anechoic chambers,sensors,and elec-tromagnetic interference shields for electronics,wallets,vehicles,and others.
