Diuron is one of the most frequently applied herbicides in sugarcane farming in southern Japan,and *** addition,it is used as a booster substance in copper-based antifouling *** to these various uses,Diuron is released into the marine environment;however,little information is available on gene expression in corals and their symbiotic algae exposed to *** investigated the efects of Diuron on stress-responsive gene expression in the hermatypic coral Acropora tenuis and its symbiotic *** seven days of exposure to 1µg/L and 10µg/L Diuron,no signifcant changes in the body colour of corals were ***,quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analyses revealed that the expression levels of stress-responsive genes,such as heat shock protein 90(HSP90),HSP70,and calreticulin(CALR),were signifcantly downregulated in corals exposed to 10µg/L of Diuron for seven ***,aquaglyceroporin was signifcantly downregulated in corals exposed to environmentally relevant concentrations of 1µg/L *** contrast,no such efects were observed on the expression levels of other stress-responsive genes,such as oxidative stress-responsive proteins,methionine adenosyltransferase,and green/red fuorescent *** exposure had no signifcant efect on the expression levels of HSP90,HSP70,or HSP40 in the symbiotic *** results suggest that stress-responsive genes,such as HSPs,respond diferently to Diuron in corals and their symbiotic dinofagellates and that *** HSPs and CALRs may be useful molecular biomarkers for predicting stress responses induced by the herbicide Diuron.

In a recent study published in Nature,Moiseeva and colleagues examined senescent cells,including fibro/adipogenic progenitors(FAPs),muscle stem cells(MuSCs)and macrophages,which generate an inflammatory and fibrotic niche,thus inhibiting the activation of MuSCs and muscle regeneration.1 The researchers developed a method to distinguish endogenous senescent cells and showed the importance of cellular senescence as a potential target for improving muscle regeneration and repair(Fig.1).^(1)

Cloud microphysical processes occur at the smallest end of scales among cloud-related processes and thus must be parameterized not only in large-scale global circulation models(GCMs)but also in various higher-resolution limited-area models such as cloud-resolving models(CRMs)and large-eddy simulation(LES)*** of giving a comprehensive review of existing microphysical parameterizations that have been developed over the years,this study concentrates purposely on several topics that we believe are understudied but hold great potential for further advancing bulk microphysics parameterizations:multi-moment bulk microphysics parameterizations and the role of the spectral shape of hydrometeor size distributions;discrete vs“continuous”representation of hydrometeor types;turbulence-microphysics interactions including turbulent entrainment-mixing processes and stochastic condensation;theoretical foundations for the mathematical expressions used to describe hydrometeor size distributions and hydrometeor morphology;and approaches for developing bulk microphysics *** presented are the spectral bin scheme and particle-based scheme(especially,super-droplet method)for representing explicit *** advantages and disadvantages are elucidated for constructing cloud models with detailed microphysics that are essential to developing processes understanding and bulk microphysics ***-resolved direct numerical simulation(DNS)models are described as an emerging technique to investigate turbulence-microphysics interactions at the most fundamental level by tracking individual particles and resolving the smallest turbulent eddies in turbulent *** challenges and future research directions are explored as well.

Heat shock protein(HSP)90 plays a crucial role in correcting the misfolded three-dimensional structure of proteins,assisting them in folding into proper ***90 is critical in maintaining the normal functions of various proteins within cells,as essential factors for cellular ***,HSP90 simultaneously supports the maturation of cancer-related proteins,including mesenchymal epithelial transition factor(MET)within tumor *** osteosarcoma cell lines had elevated MET expression in the cDNA array in our ***,a tyrosine kinase receptor,promotes proliferation and an anti-apoptotic state through the activation of the MET pathway constructed by *** this study,we treated osteosarcoma cells with an HSP90 inhibitor,17-demethoxygeldanamycin hydrochloride(17-DMAG),and assessed the changes in the MET signaling pathway and also the antitumor effect of the *** cell cycle in osteosarcoma cells administered 17-DMAG was found to be halted at the G2/M ***,treatment with 17-DMAG inhibited cell proliferation and induced *** of tumor cell proliferation was also observed in an in vivo model system,mice that were treated with *** on the results of this study,we were able to confirm that 17-DMAG promotes inhibition of osteosarcoma cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis by inhibition of MET,a protein highly expressed in osteosarcoma *** approach may be useful for the establishment of a new treatment strategy for patients resistant to the standard treatment for osteosarcoma.

BACKGROUND Mucosal patterns(MPs)observed on blue laser imaging in patients with atrophic gastritis can be classified as spotty,cracked,and ***,we hypothesized that the spotty pattern may change to the cracked pattern after Helicobacter pylori(***)*** To further substantiate and comprehensively investigate MP changes after *** eradication in a larger number of *** We included 768 patients who were diagnosed with atrophic gastritis with evaluable MP using upper gastrointestinal endoscopy at the Nishikawa Gastrointestinal Clinic,*** them,325 patients were ***-positive,and of them,101 patients who underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy before and after *** eradication were evaluated for post-eradication MP *** patients’MPs were interpreted by three experienced endoscopists who were blinded to their clinical *** Among 76 patients with the spotty pattern before or after *** eradication,the pattern disappeared or decreased in 67 patients[88.2%,95%confidence interval(CI):79.0%-93.6%),appeared or increased in 8 patients(10.5%,95%CI:5.4%-19.4%),and showed no change in 1 patient(1.3%,95%CI:0.2%-7.1%).In 90 patients with the cracked pattern before or after *** eradication,the pattern disappeared or decreased in 7 patients(7.8%,95%CI:3.8%-15.2%),appeared or increased in 79 patients(87.8%,95%CI:79.4%-93.0%),and showed no change in 4 patients(4.4%,95%CI:1.7%-10.9%).In 70 patients with the mottled pattern before or after *** eradication,the pattern disappeared or decreased in 28 patients(40.0%,95%CI:29.3%-51.7%),appeared or increased in 35 patients(50.0%,95%CI:38.6%-61.4%),and showed no change in 7 patients(10.0%,95%CI:4.9%-19.2%).CONCLUSION After *** eradication,MPs changed from spotty to cracked in most patients,which may help endoscopists easily and precisely evaluate ***-related gastritis status.

The ultracontractivity is well studied and several equivalent conditions are known. In this paper, we introduce the dual notion of the ultracontractivity, which we call the dual ultracontractivity. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the dual ultracontractivity. As an application, we discuss one-dimensional diffusion processes. We can write the conditions for the dual ultracontractivity in terms of speed measures.
