The excessive influence of human activity has highlighted the dilemma between maintaining a stable ecosystem while satisfying consumer demands for *** has ecological problems caused by the conflict between humans and the land,grasslands and raising ***,this study of the food consumption modes in Kazakhstan aims to improve the sustainability of food consumption while maintaining the integrity of the *** on the data of food consumption in Kazakhstan in 2012 and 2016,and through the delineation of consumption modes and the analysis of their changes,this study found three very different food consumption modes in Kazakhstan-one dominated by milk and cereals;one by milk,cereals and meat;and one by milk,cereals,meat,vegetables and *** three modes were distributed separately in the northern,central and southern regions of Kazakhstan,*** is worth noting that food consumption in Kazakhstan is developing into a pattern of milk,cereals and *** with the different food consumption modes and their tendencies toward variations,the basic theories of food production need to be revised,and the exchange of information and cooperation between the different regions of Kazakhstan and relevant interests abroad should be encouraged in order to increase the well-being of local consumers.

The system dynamics is a new subject that was put forward by Professor J W. Fortester in dmerican MIT in 1950s. It is extensively applied to systematic problems af high phase, nonlinear, multtdimensionality, multiple feedback and complicated time-variation. In this paper, the complex system in mining area is divided into five parts - resources, environment. economy, population, and science and technology. *** parts are regarded as five sub-models. By taking the economic subsystem as an example, the SD model of complex system in mining area is established. This model has certain universality and practicability.

Seed coat color affects the appearance and commodity quality of mung beans(Vigna radiata L.).The substances that affect mung bean seed coat color are mainly flavonoids,which have important medicinal *** the seed coat color gene in mung beans would facilitate the development of new varieties and improve their *** this study,an F2 mapping population consisting of 546 plants was constructed using Jilv9(black seed coat)and BIS9805(green seed coat).Using bulk segregated analysis(BSA)sequencing and kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)markers,the candidate region related to seed coat color was finally narrowed to 0.66 Mb on chromosome(Chr.)4 and included eight candidate *** transcriptome and metabolome analyses showed that three of the eight candidate genes(LOC106758748,LOC106758747,and LOC106759075)were differentially expressed,which may have caused the differences in flavonoid metabolite content between Jilv9 and *** findings can provide a research basis for cloning the genes related to seed coat color and accelerate molecular markerassisted selection breeding in mung beans.

Research on Ecological Carrying Pressure in the Greater Dunhuang Region based on the Relationship between Supply and Consumption

The Greater Dunhuang Region has experienced ecological degradation in the past 100 years caused by human factors such as ecological immigration, expansion of arable land, and the construction of reservoirs. At present, through the restoration of various ecological projects, the progress of ecological deterioration has slowed down. Ensuring that the development and construction of the Greater Dunhuang Region Cultural Tourism Economic Circle does not threaten ecological security is the top priority of the regional sustainable development plan. Based on the balance between supply and consumption of the ecosystem, this study assesses the pressure of ecological consumption in the Greater Dunhuang Region, and analyzes the patterns and trends in the ecological carrying status. The results reveal three important aspects of the ecological carrying pressure in this Region.(1) After 2000,the ecological supply in the Greater Dunhuang Region experienced a fluctuating growth trend. In the entire ecosystem, the farmland ecosystem provides more than 55% of the ecological supply, and areas with relatively high supply capacity are concentrated in a small number of valleys.(2) The Greater Dunhuang Region is under greater production pressure and there is less pressure from living consumption. The production consumption intensity has exceeded the ecological supply since 2014. The production and consumption structure of the Greater Dunhuang Region is dominated by animal husbandry production and consumption, accounting for more than 65% of the total production and consumption.(3) The Greater Dunhuang Region has been in a state of rich and surplus from 2000 to 2017. However, Dunhuang City turned into a surplus state in 2017 due to the pressure of the fast-growing tourist population. The Greater Dunhuang Region urgently needs to alleviate the ecological pressure through the development of eco-friendly industries. As they are products of glacier movement, the water body composition and water quality attributes of glacial lakes have distinct characteristics compared with inland lakes. Although satellite remote sensing provides an effective approach to monitor water quality, lack of in-situ measurement data on the status and environment surrounding glacial lakes presents a major constraint in relating satellite data to water quality indicators. This study presents findings of a preliminary investigation into water quality attributes of 3 glacial lakes in the Mount Qomolangma region. Suspended particulate matter （SPM）, light absorption attributes of phytoplankton, nonalgal particles （NAP）, and colored dissolved organic matter （CDOM） were measured. The suspended substance concentration varies markedly from 0-320 mg/L. This is considered to reflect differing stages of lake development. l-he chlorophyll concentra- tion is much lower than that found for inland lakes, as landscapes that surround these high altitude lakes have almost no vegetation growth. The phytoplankton and CDOM concentration depend on long-term stability of lake slopes. Given the lack of exogenous and endogenous inputs in the Qomolangma region, CDOM in glacial lakes is significantly lower than in inland lakes. These preliminary findings could support efforts to appraise estimates of water quality parameters using remotely sensed images.

Liver regeneration following injury aids the restoration of liver mass and the recovery of liver *** the present study we investigated the contribution of megakaryocytic leukemia 1(MKL1),a transcriptional modulator,to liver *** report that both MKL1 expression and its nuclear translocation correlated with hepatocyte proliferation in cell and animal models of liver regeneration and in liver failure *** with MKL1 deletion exhibited defective regenerative response in the *** analysis revealed that MKL1 interacted with E2F1 to program pro-regenerative ***2 mediated phosphorylation primed MKL1 for its interaction with *** interest,phospholipase d2 promoted MKL1 nuclear accumulation and liver regeneration by catalyzing production of phosphatidic acid(PA).PA administration stimulated hepatocyte proliferation and enhanced survival in a MKL1-dependent manner in a pre-clinical model of liver ***,PA levels was detected to be positively correlated with expression of pro-regenerative genes and inversely correlated with liver injury in liver failure *** conclusion,our data reveal a novel mechanism whereby MKL1 contributes to liver *** for small-molecule compounds boosting MKL1 activity may be considered as a reasonable approach to treat acute liver failure.

Cropland redistribution to marginal land has been reported worldwide;however,the resulting impacts on environmental sustainability have not been investigated *** we investigated the environmental impacts of cropland redistribution in *** a result of urbanization-induced loss of high-quality croplands in south China(～8.5 t ha),croplands expanded to marginal lands in northeast(～4.5 t ha) and northwest China(～2.9 t ha) during 1990-2015 to pursue food ***,the reclamation in these low-yield and ecologically vulnerable zones considerably undermined local environmental sustainability,for example increasing wind erosion(+3.47%),irrigation water consumption(+34.42%),fertilizer use(+20.02%) and decreasing natural habitats(-3.11%).Forecasts show that further reclamation in marginal lands per current policies would exacerbate environmental costs by *** future cropland security risk will be remarkably intensified because of the conflict between food production and environmental *** research suggests that globally emerging reclamation of marginal lands should be restricted and crop yield boost should be encouraged for both food security and environmental benefits.
