Extrahepatic metastasis(EHM)of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)has increasingly been seen due to improved survival with effective management of intrahepatic *** presence of EHM indicates an advanced stage of HCC,for which systemic therapy serves as the standard treatment *** the approval of Sorafenib as the first systemic agent in 2007,it took almost a decade to show its efficacy in both first and further lines of setting until the landscape of systemic drugs was finally ***,with inspiring results from immunotherapy trials in HCC,it appears that the introduction of immunotherapy may lead to an evolution in the portfolio of HCC *** the locoregional approach in the management of EHM is not recommended for advancedstage HCC,efforts have been made to demonstrate its efficacy in symptom relief and potential benefit for overall *** review provides a summary of recent updates of the systemic agents in the treatment of advanced HCC,with an emphasis on aggressive locoregional management of EHM by various treatment modalities.

Low cycle fatigue behavior of a quenched and tempered high-strength steel(Q960 E) was studied in the strain amplitude ranging from ± 0.5% to ± 1.2% at room temperature. As a result of fatigue loading, the dislocation structural evolution and fracture mechanism were examined and studied by transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results showed that this Q960 E steel showed cyclic softening at different strain amplitudes, and the softening tendency was more apparent at strain amplitude of ±(0.6–1.2)% than that at ± 0.5%. The reduction in dislocation density with increasing strain amplitude is responsible for the softening tendency of cyclic stress with the strain amplitude. The material illustrates near-Masing behavior at strain amplitude ranging from ± 0.6% to ± 1.2%. The near-Masing behavior of Q960 E high-strength steel can be the result of stability of martensite lath at different strain amplitudes. Partial transformation from martensite laths to dislocation cells is responsible for the derivation from ideal Masing behavior. In the SEM examination of fracture surfaces, transgranular cracks initiate on the sample surface. Striations can be found during the crack propagation stage.

The nanometer-size carbides formed in ferrite matrix of Nb-Ti microalloyed steel at different finishing cooling temperatures and holding time have been investigated. The characteristics of nanometer-size carbides in ferrite were observed by transmission electron microscopy, and mechanical properties of ferrite were detected by a nano-hardness tester. The results showed that interphase precipitation and diffusion precipitation were observed at different finishing cooling temperatures, and the interphase precipitation was planar and curved. Sheet spacing of inter-phase precipitation increased with the increase of finishing cooling temperature and changed a little when holding for 50--1000 s. Interphase precipitation shows higher nano-hardness at 640℃ compared with diffusion precipitation at 600℃, and the contribution of interphase precipitation to the mechanical properties of ferrite was larger than that of diffusion precipitation.

Effect of h-BN rods on high-temperature properties of alumina-carbon refractory

h-BN rods modified low-carbon alumina-carbon(Al_(2)O_(3)-C)refractories were prepared,and the effect of h-BN rod addition on the high-temperature properties was investigated and compared with commercial h-BN flake,carbon black,and carbon nanotubes *** results demonstrated that Al_(2)O_(3)-C refractories containing h-BN rods exhibited optimal high-temperature service performances,including 25%higher hot modulus of rupture,21.3%higher thermal shock strength residual ratio,20.9%lower in oxidation and 44.3%less in slag corrosion,compared to the counterpart specimens without ***,benefiting from the synergistic enhancement of the rod-like h-BN and in-situ generated SiC whiskers,the high-temperature service performances of h-BN rods containing specimens outperformed counterpart specimens containing commercial h-BN flake,carbon black,and carbon nanotubes,respectively.

BACKGROUND Liver condition is a crucial prognostic factor for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),but a convenient and comprehensive method to assess liver condition is *** stiffness(LS)measured by two-dimensional shear wave elastography may help in assessing liver fibrosis and liver *** hepatitis B(CHB)is an important risk factor for HCC progression,but LS was found to be less reliable in assessing liver fibrosis following hepatitis viral *** hypothesize that the status of hepatitis virus infection would affect the accuracy of LS in assessing the liver *** To test the feasibility and impact factors of using LS to assess liver condition in patients with HCC and *** A total of 284 patients were retrospectively recruited and classified into two groups on the basis of serum CHB virus hepatitis B virus(HBV)-DNA levels[HBV-DNA≥100.00 IU/mL as Pos group(n=200)and40 U/L),the correlations between LS and liver condition indices were not significant(P>0.05).CONCLUSION LS was significantly correlated with most liver condition indices in patients with CHB and ***,these correlations varied according to differences in HBV-DNA and transaminase concentrations.

AIM： To study the effects of concentrated liquor from male zooid of Antheraea pernyion immunological ***： For each experiment, 40 mice were randomly divided into normal saline group （control group） and three tested groups that were administered different dosages of concentrated liquor from male zooid of A. pernyiand food for 15 d. The typical FSR and HC50 value, monocybe-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated monocyte-phagocytic exponent were determined and calculated ***： Alter 24 and 48 h, the FSR values of the three tested groups improved significantly in comparison to the conlyol group by variance analysis. The HCso values showed a significant difference between the high dosage group and the control group, as well as between the high dosage group and other two bested groups. The monocyte-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated exponent α showed rising tendencies, but no significant differences were found by variance ***： The concentrated liquor from male zooid of A. pemyican significantly enhance cellular and humoral immune function in mice, but has no distinct influence on the monocyte-phagocytic system in mice.
