Biofiltration may have clogging problems owing to excess biomass growth during the treatment of gaseous *** this study,we employed an UV(Ultraviolet)lamp and controlled the nutrient supply to conduct a biofiltration process for treating 2-butanone(MEK:Methyl Ethyl Ketone)and toluene in a gas *** methods of UV lamp usage(direct and indirect irradiation)and several nutrient supply methods were ***,no clear effect was observed with either UV *** the optimal conditions,97%of the MEK and 69%of the toluene gases were removed after 29 s of EBRT(Empty Bed Retention Time).The inlet loads were 18 and 19 mg/(m^(3)·h)for MEK and toluene,*** these conditions,23 g-N/(m^(3)·day)of nitrate-nitrogen was *** biomass growth occurred during simultaneous excess nutrient supply and a persistent irrigation *** this study,we demonstrated the effective use of a dense nitrate solution to deliver an appropriate amount of nutrients and moisture,and the optimal irrigation frequency was four times per week.

During the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic,the Japanese government implemented several infection control measures,such as states of emergency(SoE)and school closures,and encouraged universal masking and hand *** activity restrictions and improved hygiene were found to be associated with declines in the incidence of infuenza during the 2019–2020 winter season[1].Prior studies have found that the incidence of seven pediatric infections,such as pharyngoconjunctivitis and varicella,decreased during and after the school closures in Japan[2].As activity restrictions continue to be lifted,there is growing concern that pediatric infections may suddenly return given that the pool of susceptible children increased during the pandemic[3].In this study,we use national infectious disease sentinel data from January 2012 to October 2021 to assess changes in the reported number of pediatric infections in Japan during the COVID-19 *** hypothesize that the reporting of many infectious diseases decreased during the early stages of the pandemic but ultimately returned to normal when activity restrictions were lifted.

Scanning tunneling microscopy study revealed a van der Waals C60, solid film with 13% room-temperature lattice expansion on the GaAs(001) 2×4 surface. The mechanism involves fundamental Coulomb interaction due to charge transfer from the GaAs substrate. Theoretical calculation determines the charge transfer to be 1.76 electrons per C60 molecule. Oriented at its (110) crystallo-graphic axis this film also distinguishes itself from those formed on all other semiconductor and metal substrates where only the low-energy (111) hexagonal packing of C60 molecules was developed. It is shown that this is due to the one-dimensional confinement effect of the anisotropic substrate, which may have the prospect of controlling crystal growth.

Early-stage gastrointestinal cancer is often treated by endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)using a flexible *** with conventional percutaneous surgery,ESD is much less invasive and provides a high quality of life for the patient because it does not require a skin incision,and the organ is ***,the operator must be highly skilled because ESD requires using a flexible endoscope with energy devices,which have limited degrees of *** facilitate easier manipulation of these flexible devices,we developed a surgical robot comprising a flexible endoscope and two articulating *** robotic system is based on a conventional flexible endoscope,and an extrapolated motor unit moves the endoscope in all its degrees of *** instruments are thin enough to allow insertion of two instruments into the endoscope channel,and each instrument has a bending section that allows for up–down,right–left,and forward–backward *** this study,we performed an ex vivo feasibility evaluation using the proposed robotic system for ESD in a porcine *** procedure was successfully performed by five novice operators without *** findings demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed robotic system and,furthermore,suggest that even operators with limited experience can use this system to perform ESD.

We report a case of tribenoside- induced hypersensitivity syndrome associated with cytomegalovirus reactivation and investigation of the immunological characteristics of the circulating and skin- infiltrating lymphocytes. Activated CD8+ T cells outnumbered CD4+ cells in both the circulation and the skin lesions. Upon in vitro stimulation with the drug, CD4+ cells proliferated and produced interferon-γ .The circulating CD8+ cells used limited T-cell receptor V β s, some of which are restricted to cytomegalovirus-derived peptide in the context of the hLA- A2 haplotype. CD8+ cells and cytomegalovirus-containing cells closely co-localized in the skin lesions. These results suggested that CD4+ cells were drug-reactive, whereas cytomegalovirus activated CD8+ cells in the present case. These two cell types seemed to play a distinct role in drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome.

腕舟骨的腱球置换术

目的分析舟骨部分切除后腱球置换的效果。方法对2例舟骨骨不连和4例Preiser病的患者进行了近侧半舟骨切除、掌长肌腱腱球植入术。术后平均随访58个月。结果3例腕关节疼痛完全缓解,3例在从事重体力劳动时偶有疼痛；所有患者的握力和关节活动范围都有明显好转。X线片示5例腕骨高度和桡骨角均有不同程度塌陷,1例未见明显改变。有限要素法力学分析证明腱球置换能承受一定的载荷,改善应力分布。结论舟骨部分切除腱球置入术能够长期缓解疼痛,改善关节功能,但X线片示腕关节仍有退行性变。

试验研究了猪毛菜碱(一种内源性多巴胺化合物)对牛体内催乳素释放的影响。试验以小牛和母牛为研究对象,试验日期为4月到6月。尽管对生理盐水的响应程度比猪毛菜碱小,但单独静脉注射生理盐水(5mg·kg-1)或猪毛菜碱(1DA受体拮抗剂,0.1mg·kg-1),却显著促进了雄性和雌性小母牛催乳素的释放(P<0.05)。雌性小牛和雄性小牛的催乳素对生理盐水及猪毛菜碱的响应模式是相似的。在母牛体内单独注射生理盐水或猪毛菜碱显著促进了奶牛体内催乳素的释放(P<0.05)。生理盐水和猪毛菜碱混合注射,对奶牛体内的催乳素的释放无显著影响。单独脑室内注射生理盐水(10mg·头-1),显著促进了去势犊牛催乳素的释放(P<0.05)。结果表明,不论是雌性、雄性小牛,还是在奶牛体内,生理盐水都参与了催乳素的释放过程。研究结果表明,催乳素对生理盐水的释放潜力与牛的生理状态不一致。
