Introduction: Cervical cancer is a public health concern and is mainly caused by human papillomaviruses (hPV). In many parts of the world, studies are being carried out to understand the different genotypes to better tackle this issue. We conducted a study to determine the prevalence of hPV genotypes in women with chronic hepatitis B or C infection, co-infected or not with hIV, treated at the hôpital Saint Camille in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso). Methods: This study was conducted from April to July 2023, including 100 women in gastroenterology at hôpital Saint Camille. A questionnaire on their socio-demographic and life style was administrated;and endocervical samples were collected using sterile swabs and then sent to Centre of Biomolecular Research Pietro Annigoni (CERBA). hPV molecular detection and genotyping were performed by PCR and hybridization using the hPV Direct Flow Chips kit. Data were analysis using chi square test or Fischer’s exact test with a significance threshold for p Results: The prevalence of hPV infection was 28% (28/100) on the sample of women tested. The most frequent genotypes were hPV 52 (8.33%), followed by hPV 18 and 68 (6.25% each) for high-risk hPVs, and hPV 6, 44/55 and 62/81 (8.33% each) for low-risk hPVs. Conclusion: This study, the first of its kind in Burkina Faso on this group of the population, reveals that the most frequent genotypes found in this study are not included in the vaccine available in Burkina Faso (Gardasil®4).

In this study,high entropy metallic glasses(hEMGs)were developed through a combination of concepts for designing metallic glasses(main element+transition metal+metalloid element)and high-entropy alloys(more than five elements,each element having an atomic concentration between 5 at.%and 35 at.%).The developed metallic glass alloys are composed of Co-Fe-Ni main elements,transition metals(Cr,Mo)and metalloid elements(C,B).Moreover,the present work reports the thermal,mechanical and magnetic properties of(CoFeNi)(50)(CrMo)(50-x)(CB)x alloys with x=20,25,*** developed as-spun hEMGs exhibit typical paramagnetic properties even for a high amount of ferromagnetic elements(Co,Fe,and Ni)and have high elastic modulus(103–160 GPa)and hardness(14–27 GPa),thus possessing mechanical properties similar to well-known Co-based metallic glasses(Co-Cr-Mo-C-B system).In addition,some of the bulk samples prepared with a diameter of 2 mm form bulk metallic glasses with a high compressive strength around 3.5 *** mechanisms determining the stability of the supercooled liquid,as well as the paramagnetic and mechanical properties for the developed non-equiatomic hEMGs,are discussed.

hypolipidemic and anti-obesity properties of extruded black,pinto and white beans were examined in male Syrian hamsters fed high fat diets for 3 *** efficiency and effectiveness of extruder processing to eliminate heatlabile antinutrients were also *** fed a high fat diet containing 40%extruded black beans gained the same amount of weight as animals on a low-fat chow diet(based on AIN-93G).Total plasma cholesterol of the hamsters fed bean flour-based diets tended to be lower,ranging between 298 and 356 mg/dl,compared to 365 mg/dl for the control group and total and free liver cholesterol was about 50 and 33%lower,respectively,in the livers(freeze-dried)of hamsters fed the black turtle bean(BB)and pinto bean(PB)*** nitrogen content of the feces from hamsters fed the PB and white bean(WB)diets were 2.6x higher than the control and the excretion of deoxycholic acid(DCA)and lithocholic acid(lCA)was higher in all legume fed hamsters The results show that extrusion efficiently and economically reduces anti-nutritive factors that inhibit the digestion and absorption of proteins and carbohydrates.

In this work,variation in the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)and dynamic precipitation behavior of AZ80 alloy during extrusion due to changes in extrusion temperature was investigated,and the resultant microstructure and yield asymmetry were *** the extrusion temperature increases from 250℃to 350℃,the primary DRX mechanism changes from twin-induced DRX to discontinuous DRX,resulting in an increase in the DRX area fraction and un DRXed grain *** addition,as the extrusion temperature rises,Mg17Al12 precipitation during extrusion decreases sharply throughout the extruded *** reduction in the compressive yield strength(CYS)with increasing extrusion temperature is more pronounced than it is for the tensile yield strength(TYS),which ultimately increases the yield asymmetry of the extruded *** higher extrusion temperature has less of an influence on the TYS due to the promotion of certain hardening *** the other hand,the greater reduction in the CYS is attributed to the increased fraction and size of regions in which{1012}twins predominantly form and the lower amount of precipitates,which effectively facilitates{1012}twinning.

The design of a three-input logic circuit using carbon nanotube field effect transistors(CNTFETs)is *** logic must be an exact replacement for dual logic since it performs straightforwardly in digital devices,which is why this design is so popular,and it also reduces chip area,both of which are examples of circuit *** proposed module we have investigated is a triple-logic-based one,based on advanced technology CNTFETs and an emphasis on minimizing delay times at various values,as well as comparisons of the design working with various load *** the proposed design with the existing design,the delay times was reduced from 66.32 to 16.41 ps,i.e.,a 75.26%***,the power dissipation was not optimized,and increased by 1.44%compared to the existing *** number of transistors was also reduced,and the product of power and delay(P∗D)achieved a value of 0.0498053 *** improvement at 1 V was also achieved.A load capacitance(fF)was measured at different values,and the average delay measured for different values of capacitance had a maximum of 83.60 ps and a minimum of 22.54 ps,with a range of 61.06 *** power dissipations ranged from a minimum of 3.38μW to a maximum of 6.49μ*** on these results,the use of this CNTFET half-adder design in multiple Boolean circuits will be a useful addition to circuit design.
