The Mesozoic intrusions of the Jiaodong Peninsula,eastern china,host giant gold *** the genesis of these deposits requires the determination of the source of the parental auriferous fluid and the timing of gold mineralization,which are strongly influenced by the cooling/uplift histories of the hosting *** performed an integrated U-Pb geochronology study on both zircon and apatite from four major magmatic episodes of the Jiaodong *** zircon and apatite U-Pb ages are 156.9±1.2 and 137.2±2.4 Ma for the Linglong intrusion,129.9±1.0 and 125.0±3.8 Ma for the Qujia intrusion,119.5±0.7 and 117.2±1.8 Ma for the Liulinzhuang intrusion,118.6±1.0 and 111.6±1.6 Ma for the Nansu intrusion,*** coupled zircon and apatite data of these granitoids indicate a slow cooling rate(11.9°c/Ma)in the Late Jurassic,and rapid uplift and cooling(35.8-29.2°c/Ma)in the Early *** dramatically increased uplift and cooling period in the Early cretaceous are contemporaneous with large-scale gold mineralization in the Jiaodong *** implies that thermal upwelling of asthenosphere and related tectonic extension played an important role in gold remobilization and precipitation.

For the conservation and restoration of river environment,a sediment replenishment technique, which conveys a part of the sediments excavated and/or dredged from reservoirs to the river below dams is developed and has been implemented tentatively in several *** placed as replenishment can be flushed out and transported downstream by floodwater or dam *** flushed sediments are expected to contribute to the control of degradation and the variation of the low-flow ***,this technique is in the development stage because there are many unknown ***,systematic investigations are necessary for practical management of the *** this study,the effects of the location of replenishment sediment on sediment flushing and on control of degradation were investigated by means of flume experiments.A two-dimensional numerical model was also developed to further investigate the effects of sediment augmentation on river *** numerical model treats bank erosion and sediment transport over fixed beds. The simulation results were verified against the experimental *** flushing process of replenishment sediment was investigated first,and then its effect as a countermeasure for river bed degradation was *** are summarized as follows:(1) Augmentation at upper riffles is effective for flushing of replenishment sediment and variation of low-flow channel.(2) Amelioration of degradation can be found in the cases of two types of *** amelioration effect of upper riffle placement was larger than that of lower riffle placement(3) Aggradation rate of the bed near the replenishment site in the fixed bed is large in the lower riffle placement compared with the upper riffle placement.(4) The numerical model was found to be generally successful as a predictive tool.

Helicoverpa zea is a major target pest of Bt corn and Bt ***-evolved resistance of *** to cry1 and cry2 proteins has been widely reported in the United *** the frequency of resistance alleles in a target insect is critical for Bt resistance *** multiple cases of practical resistance to cry proteins having been documented in ***,there are no data on the current status of alleles conferring resistance to cry1Ac and cry2Ab2 in field populations of this *** 2018‒2019,a total of 106 F2 families for cry1Ac and 120 F2 families for cry2Ab2 were established using mass mating and light trap *** screened 13,568 and 15,360 neonates using a discriminatory dose of cry1Ac and cry2Ab2,*** results showed that 93.4%and 35.0%of the F2 families could survive on the discriminatory dose of cry1Ac and cry2Ab2,*** estimated resistance allele frequency for cry1Ac in *** ranged from 0.4150 to 0.4975 and for cry2Ab2 ranged from 0.1097 and *** data indicate that the frequency of alleles conferring resistance to cry1 and cry2 proteins in *** in Texas are *** addition,our data suggest the resistance to cry1Ac and cry2Ab2 in the screened families of *** varies from recessive to *** information in this study provides precise estimates of cry resistance allele frequencies in *** and increases our understanding of the risks to the sustainability of Bt crops.

The successes with immune checkpoint blockade(IcB)and chimeric antigen receptor(cAR)-T-cell therapy in treating multiple cancer types have established immunotherapy as a powerful curative option for patients with advanced ***,many patients do not derive benefit or long-term responses,highlighting a pressing need to perform complete investigation of the underlying mechanisms and the immunotherapy-induced tumor regression or *** recent years,a large number of single-cell technologies have leveraged advances in characterizing immune system,profiling tumor microenvironment,and identifying cellular heterogeneity,which establish the foundations for lifting the veil on the comprehensive crosstalk between cancer and immune system during *** this review,we introduce the applications of the most widely used single-cell technologies in furthering our understanding of immunotherapies in terms of underlying mechanisms and their association with therapeutic *** also discuss how single-cell analyses help to deliver new insights into biomarker discovery to predict patient response rate,monitor acquired resistance,and support prophylactic strategy development for toxicity ***,we provide an overview of applying cutting-edge single-cell spatial-omics to point out the heterogeneity of tumor–immune interactions at higher level that can ultimately guide to the rational design of next-generation immunotherapies.

Adaptation and mitigation measures and changes in production and consumption patterns are necessary to face the risks of the impacts of global warming. They imply large investments the costs of which companies and governments, in charge of elites are not always willing to endure. changes in elites have a direct impact on public policy and environmental governance of societies. Are the new elites willing to change traditional patterns of energy consumption if the change could threaten investment and economic growth3 Based on empirical research this paper analyzes the role of elites in a developing Latin American country （the chilean case） in decisions adopted about the explanations of climate change and specially on the set of measures for adaptation and/or mitigation, focusing on the energy sector of the economy, one of the key sectors directly implied with the possibilities of reducing greenhouse gases emissions.

Background: circus cyaneus is a medium-sized bird of prey that is widely distributed across the Northern Hemisphere. There are two currently recognized forms, the Palearctic form c. c. cyaneus(Hen Harrier), and the Nearctic form c. c. hudsonius(Northern Harrier). The forms have recently been split by the British Ornithologists' Union but the American Ornithologists' Union and some other taxonomic committees have not yet made any change. Here we examine the phylogenetic relationship between the two forms using sequence data from multiple nuclear and mitochondrial genes and examine breeding biology, body size, morphology, dispersal and other ***: In order to fully compare cyaneus and hudsonius, we carried out a full literature review, measured museum skins and carried out phylogenetic analysis using a number of different mitochondrial genes and compare our findings to other recent ***: We find that these two allopatric taxa form reciprocally monophyletic groups, show substantial mt DNA sequence divergence, and further differ significantly with respect to body size, plumage characters, breeding biology, dispersal and other behavioral ***: Based on an array of consistently divergent characteristics, it is suggested that the two forms are best regarded as separate species, Hen Harrier(circus cyaneus) and Northern Harrier(circus hudsonius).
