Habitat restoration is an effective method for improving landscape connectivity,which can reduce habitat *** landscape connectivity could promote connections between habitat,which is extremely essential to preserve gene flow and population *** study proposes a methodological framework to analyze landscape connectivity for Asian elephant habitat conservation,aiming to provide practical options for reducing habitat fragmentation and improving habitat *** approach involved combining a species distribution model using MaxEnt and landscape functional connectivity models using graph theory to assess the impact on connectivity improvement via farmland/plantation restoration as *** results showed that:(1)there were 119 suitable habitat patches of Asian elephant covering a total area of 1952.41 km^(2..(2.The connectivity between habitats improved significantly after vegetation restoration and the gain first decreased and then increased with the increase of dispersal distance.(3)The first few new habitat patches that were identified played an important role in improving connectivity,and the variation rate of connectivity gradually leveled off as the number of new habitats increased.(4)Prioritization of the 2. best new habitat patches increased connectivity from 0.54%to 5.59%as the dispersal distance increased and mainly was located between two Asian elephant distribution regions and two *** of new habitat patches was effective for improving or restoring *** findings can be used as guidance for improving the studied fragmented Asian elephant habitats,and they can also be used as a reference for the habitat restoration of other endangered species heavily affected by habitat fragmentation.

We show that the shuffle algebras for polylogarithms and regularized MZVs in the sense of Ihara,Kaneko and Zagier are both free commutative nonunitary Rota-Baxter algebras with one *** apply these results to show that the full sets of shuffle relations of polylogarithms and regularized MZVs are derived by a single *** also take this approach to study the extended double shuffle relations of MZVs by comparing these shuffle relations with the quasi-shuffle relations of the regularized MZVs in our previous approach of MZVs by renormalization.

Artificial biomaterials with dynamic mechano-responsive behaviors similar to those of biological tissues have been drawing great *** this study,we report a TiO_(2.-based nanowire(TiO_(2.NWs)scaffolds,which exhibit dynamic mechano-responsive behaviors varying with the number and amplitude of nano-deformation *** is found that the elastic and adhesive forces in the TiO_(2.NWs scaffolds can increase significantly after multiple cycles of *** nanofriction experiments show the triboelectric effect of increasing elastic and adhesive forces during the nano-deformation cycles of TiO_(2.NWs *** properties allow the TiO_(2.NW scaffolds to be designed and applied as intelligent artificial biomaterials to simulate biological tissues in the future.

Rock physical characteristics of deep dolomite under complex geological conditions: A case study of 4th Member of Sinian Dengying Formation in the Sichuan Basin, china

The deep-ultra deep carbonate reservoir in china, commonly subjected to modification of multi-stage diagenesis, has extremely high heterogeneity. Conventional rock physics analysis cannot accurately identify the elastic responses of reservoir. Here, the rock physics properties of the dolomite from the 4th Member of the Sinian Dengying Formation are experimentally measured, and the change law of rock physics characteristics is investigated within the framework of the diagenetic processes by the analysis of the elastic and petrologic characteristics, pore structure, and sedimentary environments. The results show that the differentiated diagenesis results in different pore structure characteristics and microtexture characteristics of the rock. The microbial dolomite of the algal mound-grain beach facies is subjected to the contemporaneous microbial dolomitization and seepage-reflux dolomitization, penecontemporaneous selective dissolution, burial dolomitization, and hydrothermal dolomitization. The resultant crystalline dolomite is found with one main type of the dolomite crystal contact boundaries,and the dissolution pore is extensive development. The siliceous, muddy, and limy dolomite of the interbeach sea environment mainly experiences the weak capillary concentration dolomitization, intensive mechanical compaction-induced densification, and burial dolomitization. Such crystalline dolomite is observed with four types of contact boundaries, namely the dolomite contact, clay contact, quartz contact, and calcite contact boundaries, and porosity mostly attributed to residual primary inter-granular or crystalline pores. The samples with the same crystal boundary condition have consistent correlations between the compressional-and shear-wave velocities, and between the compressional-wave velocity and the velocity ratio. Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury(HIRI)is the cause of postoperative hepatic dysfunction and failure,and even *** an important biological effector molecule,hydrogen sulfide(H_(2.S)of mitochondria as a gasotransmitter that is usually used to protect against acute HIRI ***,the exact relationship between HIRI and mitochondrial H_(2.S remains tangled due to the lack of an effective analytical ***,we have fabricated a mitochondria-targeted H_(2.S-activatable fluorogenic probe(Mito-GW)to explore the stability of mitochondrial H_(2.S and track the changes of mitochondrial H_(2.S during the *** virtue of pyridinium electropositivity and its amphiphilicity,Mito-GW could accumulate in *** goes through an analyte-prompted immolation when reacts with H_(2.S,resulting in the releasing of the fluorophore(GW).Therefore,the extent of Mito-GW conversion to GW can be used to evaluate the changes of mitochondrial H_(2.S level in living cells and *** proof-of-principle,we have used MitoGW to demonstrate the mitochondria H_(2.S-levels increase and then decrease during HIRI in vitro and in *** research highlights the tremendous potential of Mito-GW as a mitochondrial H_(2.S fluorogenic probe in elucidating the pathogenesis of HIRI,providing a powerful tool for promoting future research on hepatology.
