In situ analysis of dynamic evolution of the additive-regulated cathode processes in quasi-solid-state lithium-metal batteries

The implementation of high-energy-density storage devices can be facilitated by the built-in situ cathode electrolyte interphase(CEI)between Ni-rich cathodes and gel polymer electrolytes,as it improves interfacial compatibility and enhances *** the interphase processes of cathode materials,including the structural evolution and the formation of cathode electrolyte interphase upon charging/discharging,is crucial for the design of solid-state lithium ***,we employed in situ atomic force microscopy(AFM)to investigate the effects of lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate(Li DFOB)on the dynamic evolution of the cathode *** the presence of Li DFOB,the adhesion of nanoparticles and a thin amorphous film on the cathode surface resulted in the formation of a homogeneous CEI,inducing the production of LixPFyas ***,the stable CEI formed between the cathode and electrolyte helps maintain the integrity of the composition and structure,reduces interfacial resistance,and improves the cycle stability of the *** visualization of in situ AFM in quasi-solid-state lithium-metal batteries provides valuable insights into the distinct nanostructures and growth dynamics of Li DFOB-mediated CEI on the LiNi_(6)Co_(2)Mn_(2)O_(2) cathode,thus offering a universal and convenient technique for interfacial analysis and a mechanistic understanding of solid-state batteries.

FUZZY COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION MODEL OF ECOLOGICAL DEMONSTRATION AREA

Ecological demonstration area (EDA) is an authorized nomination, which should be assessed from several aspects, including ecological, social, environmental, economic ones and so on. It is difficult to advance an exact developing level index of EDA due to its indicator system’s complexity and disequilibrium. In this paper, a framework of indicators was set to evaluate, monitor and examine the comprehensive level of ecological demonstration area (EDA). Fuzzy logic method was used to develop the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model (FCEM), which could quantitatively reveal the developing degree of EDA. Huiji District of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, one of the 9th group of national EDAs, was taken as a study case. The framework of FCEM for the integrated system included six subsystems, which were social, economic, ecological, rural, urban and accessorial description ones. The research would be valuable in the comprehensive quantitative evaluation of EDA and would work as a guide in the construction practices of Huiji ecological demonstration area.

The Escherichia coli(***)is prevailing worldwide,but the epidemiology of *** infections feature regional distribution characteristics to some ***,as a zoonotic pathogen,can be transferred from animals to humans through food chain or via contact with wounds,causing a public health *** reported the swelling of proventriculus and tracheal bleeding following the death in two broiler chickens(Gallus gallus domesticus)from Beijing,*** investigate whether a virus was involved in the infection,Madin Darby Bovine Kidney(MDCK)cells were co-cultured with supernatants of proventriculus,trachea and spleen *** avian leucosis virus was detected in the samples of proventriculus and trachea,but the avian influenza virus,the Newcastle disease virus and the avian infectious laryngotracheitis virus were not *** isolates were resistant to almost all the antimicrobial as tested except for the combinations of amoxicillin/clavulanic acid and sulfamethoxazole/*** tests demonstrated the presence of antibiotic resistance genes in these *** isolates and further research revealed a novel gene profile with the presence of CTX-M-1,gyrA,gyrB,oqxA,oqxB,parC and Sul2 antibiotic resistance genes in a strain isolated from a proventriculus *** results demonstrated that the presence of antibiotic resistant *** would not necessarily cause outbreak of large-scale ***,when the bacteria carrying new antibiotic resistance genes enter the environment,it may result in the development of more virulent strains which will potentially impact human and animal health.

RNA interference(RNAi)techniques have emerged as powerful tools that facilitate development of novel management strategies for insect pests,such as Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata(Coleoptera:Coccinellidae),which is a major pest of solanaceous plants in *** this study,the potential of oral delivery of in vvYro-synthesized and bacterially expressed double-stranded *** lesswright(Iwr)gene(dsHvlwr)to manage of *** was *** results showed that the gene Hvlwr had a 480-bp open reading frame and encoded a 160-amino acid *** expression levels were greater in the fat body than other tissue *** silencing led to greater *** mortality rates and appeared to be time-and partially dose-dependent,likely as a result of the number of hemocytes increasing with dsRNA concentration,but decreasing with *** expressed dsHvlwr that was applied to leaf discs caused 88%,66%,and 36%mortality in 1st instars,3rd instars,and adults after 10,10,and 14 d,respectively;when applied to living plants,there was greater mortality in 1 st and 3rd instars,but there was no effect on ***,dsHvlwr led to improved plant protection against *** study shows an effective dietary RNAi response in *** and that Hvlwr is a promising RNAi target gene for control of this pest species.

CONVERGENCE ANALYSIS OF THE LOPING OS-EM ITERATIVE VERSION OF THE CIRCULAR RADON TRANSFORM

The loping OS-EM iteration is a numerically efficient regularization method for solving ill-posed problems. In this article we investigate the loping OS-EM iterative method in connection with the circular Radon transform. We show that the proposed method converges weakly for the noisy data. Numerical tests are presented for a linear problem related to photoacoustic tomography.

Effects of Rapamycin on the Differentiation and Function of Macrophages In Vitro

Macrophages have been generated from bone marrow progenitor cells （BMPCs） with macrophage colony-stimulating factor （M-CSF）. Rapamycin （rapa） is an immunosuppressive drug, which could prevent renal graft rejection and inhibit tumor growth to yield antiproliferative activity in a variety of malignancies. However, the direct effect of rapa on the development of macrophages is unknown. In this study, we explored the direct effect of rapa on the differentiation and function of macrophages differentiated from mouse BMPCs in vitro in the presence of M-CSF. The experimental data showed that rapa prevented the differentiation of macrophagcs by down-regulating CD80 and CD86 expression but upregulating F4/80 expression, as well as by reducing the capacity of differentiated macrophages to stimulate lymphocyte proliferation in the allogeneic mixed lymphocyte reaction. Furthermore, the phagocytic capacity of differentiated macrophages was significantly reduced by rapa. Therefore, rapa may directly inhibit macrophage differentiation and function, which may have been one of the major targets for rapa to mediate its immunosuppressive properties.

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries(AZIBs) have emerged as potential candidates for Li-ion batteries due to their intrinsic safety and high ***,metallic Zn anodes encounter dendrite growth and water-induced corrosion,rendering poor stability and severe irreversibility at the electrode/electrolyte interface during *** stabilize the Zn anode,we report a low-cost and effective nonionic surfactant,Tween-20 polymer,as an electrolyte additive for *** Tween-20,sequential oxyethylene groups tended to be preferentially adsorbed on the Zn electrode to form a shielding layer for regulating uniform Zn ***,the hydrophobic hendecyl chains prevented H_(2)O-induced corrosion on the Zn anode *** from the desired functional groups,when only trace amounts of Tween-20(0.050 g·L^(-1)) were used,the Zn anode displayed good cycling stability over 2170 h at10 mA·cm^(-2) and a high average Coulombic efficiency of98.94% over 1000 *** Tween-20 polymer can also be effectively employed in MnO_(2)/Zn full *** their toxicity,price and amount of usage,these surfactant additives provide a promising strategy for realizing the stability and reversibility of high-performance Zn anodes.

Promotion and Inhibition of Ruminal Epithelium Growth by Butyric Acid and Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1(IGF-1) in Dairy Goats

Isolated ruminal epithelia from caudal blind sacs of dairy goats were incubated with butyrate and insulin-like growth factor-1（IGF-1） at different concentrations. Proportions of ruminal epithelium in different phases of the cell division cycle were determined by flow cytometric analysis. The proportion of epithelial cells in S phase and G2-M phase（PS＆G2-M） increased significantly（P〈0.01） whereas the proportion of epithelial cells in G0-G1 phase（PG0-G1） decreased after incubation with IGF-1. PS＆G2-M decreased whereas PG0-G1 increased markedly（P〈0.01） after incubation with sodium butyrate. PS＆G2-M incubated with IGF-1 and butyrate sodium together increased more than that incubated with IGF-1 alone; PG0-G1, however, decreased significantly（P〈0.01）. Our results indicate that IGF-1 enhances whereas sodium butyrate inhibits the proliferation of rumen epithelial cells. Furthermore, butyrate and IGF-1, together, have a synergic effect on the proliferation of rumen epithelium.

AIM: To establish a model for prognosis assessment of extranodal follicular dendritic cell (FDC) ***: Nine lesions were examined by routine and molecular *** factors from the new cases and 97 reported cases were analyzed for their prognostic ***: The current lesions were found in f ive male and four female patients,located mainly in the head and neck area and averaging 7.2 cm in *** patients had recurrence or metastasis and three remained free of *** 106 patients (male/female ratio,1.1:1) were aged from 9 to 82 years (median,44 years).The tumor sizes ranged from 1.5 to 21 cm (mean,7.4 cm).Abdominal/pelvic region was affected most frequently (43%).Surgical resection was performed in 100 patients,followed by radiation and/or chemotherapy in 35 of ***-up data were available in 91 cases,covering a period of 3-324 mo (mean,27 mo;median,19 mo).Of the informative cases,38 (42%) had recurrence or metastasis,and 12 (13%) died of the *** tumors were classif ied histologically into lowand high-grade lesions.A size ≥ 5 cm (P = 0.003),highgrade histology (P = 0.046) and a mitotic count ≥ 5/10 HPF (P = 0.013) were associated with tumor *** lesions were def ined as low-,intermediateand high-risk tumors,and their recurrence rates were 16%,46% and 73%,and their mortality rates 0%,4% and 45%,***: Extranodal FDC tumors behave like soft tissue *** clinical outcomes are variable and can be evaluated according to their sizes and grades.
