A solvent-non-solvent method invented in our laboratory for preparing non-covalently con- nected micelles （NCCM） was used to intercalate melamine （MA） molecules into stearic acid （SA） bilayers to form tile composite nanoparticles with an intercalated nanostructure in which a melamine bilayer is sandwiched between two stearic acid bilayers, NCCM method helps to sufficiently mix the two components in nanospace and meanwhile inhibits the strong tendency of self-crystallization of MA, leading to the intercalation. Although the nanopar- ticles have a regular inner structure, the primary MA/SA nanoparticles have an irregular morphology. Regular nanoparticles were obtained through annealing the suspension of the primary nanoparticles. Through annealing at different temperatures, the MA/SA compos- ite nanowires and vesicles with an intercalated structure were prepared respectively. It is proposed that the morphological change results from the change in the intercalated structure.

The Cl^- homeostasis was known as the major mechanism of soybean to achieve NaCl tolerance, but studies on the role of chloride channel under abiotic stress were relatively few. We cloned a putative CLC-type chloride channel gene GmCLCnt from soybean via RACE and it was predicted to encode a protein of 783 amino acids with 9 possible transmembrane domains and 2 tandem CBS domains. Real-time RT-PCR analysis showed that the GmCLCnt gene was expressed in all tissues of soybean but enriched in leaves and its expression was induced by NaCl, polyethylene glycol （PEG）, coldness and ABA treatments. The Arabidopsis seedlings overexpressing GmCLCnt were more tolerant to higher concentration of NaCl than those of wild type. The results suggested that the GmCLCnt may be a CLC-type chloride channel and play an important role in salt tolerance.

Dispersion copolymerization of styrene with polyethylene glycol 200-dimethacrylae as the cross-linking agent was completed by using poly（N-vinyl pyrrolidone） and 2,2-azo-bisisobutyronitrile as the steric stabilizer and initiator, respectively. Crosslinked copolymeric microspheres were prepared directly by the one-step method of dispersion copolymerization. The effects of the content of polyethylene glycol 200-dimethacrylae on the particle morphology and the copolymerization rate were investigated. It shows that the crosslinking agent plays an important role in the particle morphology and the system stability. When the content of crosslinking reached 2.5wt%, the floriated particles were obtained.

BACKGROUND Selective laser trabeculoplasty(SLT)is a relatively safe and effective therapy in lowering intraocular pressures(IOP)for *** To study the long-term effects of SLT on IOP and number of glaucoma medications used in Chinese *** This is a retrospective study in which 75 eyes of 70 patients with open-angle glaucoma(OAG,n=36)and eyes with prior glaucoma surgery(PGS,n=39)were *** in mean IOP and number of glaucoma medications used evaluated at 1 d,1 wk,1 mo,3 mo,6 mo,12 mo,and 36 mo after laser *** All patients(33 male,37 female)were *** mean age was 44.34±*** pre-SLT IOP was 22.75±2.08 mmHg in OAG and 22.52±2.62 mmHg in *** IOP was significantly reduced 1 d,1 wk,1 mo and 3 mo after laser treatment(P0.05)and in PGS(P=0.309,P>0.05).Six months after SLT treatment,some patients received retreatment of SLT or were given more topical IOP-lowering medication to control the *** the end of our study,the average IOP decreased to 20.73±1.82 mmHg in OAG and 20.49±1.53 mmHg in PGS *** number of glaucoma medications used was significantly reduced until the end of 3 years compared to *** SLT could reduce IOP as adjunctive treatment both in OAG and PGS *** significantly reduced the number of glaucoma medications used 3-years following treatment in glaucoma patients.

We consider the models of vacuum energy interacting with cold dark matter in this study, in which the coupling can change sigh during the cosmological evolution. We parameterize the running coupling b by the form b（a） = boa ＋ be（1 - a）, where at the earlytime the coupling is given by a constant be and today the coupling is described by another constant bo. We explore six specific models with （i） Q = b（a）Hoρo, （ii） Q = b（a）Hoρde, （iii） Q = b（a）Hoρc, （iv） Q = b（a）Hρo, （v） Q = b（a）Hρde, and （vi） Q = b（a）Hρc. The current observational data sets we use to constrain the models include the JLA compilation of type Ia supernova data, the Planck 2015 distance priors data of cosmic microwave background observation, the baryon acoustic oscillations measurements and the Hubble constant direct measurement. We find that, for all the models, we have b0 〈 0 and be 〉 0 at around the lolevel, and b0 and be are in extremely strong anti-correlation. Our results show that the coupling changes sign during the evolution at about the lolevel, i.e., the energy transfer is from dark matter to dark energy when dark matter dominates the universe and the energy transfer is from dark energy to dark matter when dark energy dominates the universe.

Surface Characterization and Tribology Behavior of PMMA Processed by Excimer Laser

Polyoxymethylene methacrylate (PMMA) is widely used in ophthalmic biomaterials. Misuse of PMMA in extreme environments is likely to damage the ocular surface and intraocular structures. The surface characterization and tribological behavior of PMMA processed using an excimer laser were investigated in this study by contrasting diferent lubrication conditions and friction cycles. The results show that the roughness of the material surface increases with laser processing, which changes its physical structure. Under lubrication, the laser-treated PMMA exhibits better hydrophilicity, especially during the use of eye drops. No obvious relationship exists between the laser-processing time and friction behavior. However, the laser treatment may contribute to the formation of friction and wear mechanisms of PMMA materials. Laser-treated PMMA in saline solution exhibits better abrasive resistance by showing a lower wear rate than that in eye drops, although it has a higher friction coefcient. In this study, the diferent friction stages in laser-treated PMMA were clarifed under two lubrication conditions. The wear rates of the laser-treated PMMA were found to decrease with the number of cycles, and the friction coefcient has a similar variation tendency. The wear behavior of the laser-treated PMMA is dominated by the main abrasive wear and secondary transferred flm formation. This study provides a theoretical basis for the development and application of ophthalmic biomaterials in complex environments by examining the material surface interface behavior and wear mechanism after laser processing using PMMA as the research matrix.

The wavelength-tunable rectangular pulse dissipative soliton （DS） is experimentally demonstrated, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, in an erbium-doped figure-of-eight fiber laser based on the nonlinear amplifying loop mirror mode-locked technique. The proposed rectangular pulse DS fiber laser can operate in the wavelength- tunable mode-locked state from 1573.5nm to 159d.6 nm with the rotation of the polarization controllers. The achieved output wavelengths are 1573.5nm, 1576.3nm, 1586.8nm, 1590.4nm and 1594.6nm, respectively. The pulse widths of the rectangular pulse can also be tuned from ~8ns to ~24ns by adjusting the pump power. The fundamental repetition rate of the rectangular pulse DS is 1.154 MHz and the output power is 6.1d m W （at 1594.6 nm）.
