Diagnostic imaging, preautopsy imaging and autopsy findings of 8 AIDS cases： a comparative study

Background Aquired immune deficiency syndrome （AIDS） presents a challenge to medical researchers because of its unique pathological and clinical picture. The clinical data, particularly autopsy evidence, from China have failed to provide enough pathological and etiological evidence for AIDS diagnosis, which impairs the reliability of the diagnosis and our full understanding of the occurrence and development of AIDS complications. The purpose of this study was to investigate the imaging and pathologic characteristics of AIDS. Methods Autopsy, imaging and pathological data from 8 cases of AIDS were retrospectively analyzed. Routine CT scanning of different body parts was performed during their periods of hospitalization. Transverse CT scanning was conducted from the skull to the pelvis immediately after the occurrence of death. After routine formalin fixing, 7 cardevers were cross sectioned for autopsy in freezing state and 1 for gross autopsy. Tissues were obtained from each section and organs for pathological examinations. Results The autopsy data indicated the presence of parasitic infections, bacterial infections, fungal infections, and virus infections in AIDS patients. Pneumocystis pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis, coccobacteria pneumonia, Aspergillus pneumonia, cytomegaJovirus pneumonia, toxoplasma encephalitis, lymphoma and cerebrovascular diseases were found in these patients. Conclusions During the course of AIDS progression, the concurrent multiple infections as well as tumor development may resuJt in multiple organ pathological changes and clinically complex symptoms that further complicate the imaging and pathological manifestations, thus resulting in difficult differential diagnosis. A combination of imaging data and autopsy data can help to clarify the diagnosis.

具有半导体-金属态相变性质的二氧化钒材料可用于光电探测器的激光致盲防护。本文报道了基于磁控溅射法制备二氧化钒薄膜材料的结构、形貌特性,以及在不同温度下的光学性质。使用椭偏光谱法测量了20~100℃下可见-近红外波段二氧化钒材料的椭偏参数,利用Gaussian、Lorentz模型获取了薄膜在相变前的光学性质,结合Drude模型拟合获取了材料在相变后的光学特性,获取了材料在300~1700 nm之间的变温折射率和消光系数等参数。变功率下1550 nm红外激光透射率的实验测试研究表明,VO_(2)薄膜样品的相变阈值功率为12 W/cm^(2),相变前后透射率由51%减小到15%~17%,开关率为69%。

河南中原城市群多情景土地利用优化与碳储量评估

土地利用/覆盖变化(LUCC)是导致陆地生态系统碳储量变化的主要因素,研究并预测土地利用和碳储量变化过程,对于城市生态系统的可持续发展至关重要。以河南省中原城市群9市为对象,基于PLUS和InVEST模型,分析2000-2020年中原城市群土地利用和碳储量的空间变化特征,并预测2030年在自然发展情景、耕地保护情景、生态城镇情景下的土地利用和碳储量。结果表明:1)2000-2020年河南省中原城市群9市各土地类型面积占比大小依次为耕地>林地>人造地表>草地>水域>裸地,其中人造地表的扩张速度最快;从空间格局来看,土地利用整体格局变化不大,局部变化较为明显,且人造地表呈中心向外辐射式的扩张态势。2)研究区各市碳储量大小依次为郑州市>洛阳市>平顶山市>许昌市>开封市>焦作市>漯河市>济源市>新乡市,在研究期间均呈下降趋势,变化较明显的地区为各市中心及周边地区。3)中原城市群9市的碳储量热点区和冷点区零散分布在研究区内。在自然情景下,碳储量冷点分布范围有逐渐变大的趋势;耕地保护情景和生态城镇情景下,碳储量的冷热点范围有小幅度变化。因此,建议研究区科学提高耕地生产潜力和优化现有用地的空间格局,提高城市用地利用率,增加城市绿化用地等措施降低碳储量。

Liver injury in HIV-1-infected patients receiving non-nucleosides reverse transcriptase inhibitors-based antiretroviral therapy

Background Liver injury is one of the most important adverse effects of antiretroviral therapy, leading to therapy changing or discontinuation. Data on liver injury in human immunodeficiency virus-1-infected patients receiving antiretroviral therapy are limited in China. The purpose of this study was to investigate the features of liver injury in human immunodeficiency virus type 1-infected patients receiving non-nucleosides reverse transcriptase inhibitors-based antiretroviral therapy in China.Methods Seventy-five patients on antiretroviral therapy containing non-nucleosides reverse transcriptase inhibitors were retrospectively studied. The patients were divided into 2 groups： group 1 （with liver injury, n=45） and group 2（without liver injury, n=30）. The features of liver injury were analyzed. The sex, age, baseline CD4 counts, hepatitis B virus （HBV） and/or hepatitis C virus （HCV） co-infection, hepatotoxic drug use and nevirapine or efavirenz use were compared between two groups.Results Forty-five patients （60.0%）, 31 （68.9%） males and 14 （31.1%） females, aged 12 to 52 years （averaged （3g±9）years）, experienced at least one episode of liver injury. Forty （53.3%） patients were co-infected with HBV and/or HCV, 42 （56%） patients had concomitant use of antituberculosis drugs or cotrimoxazole, 46 （61.3%） and 29 （38.7%） patients received regimen containing nevirapine and efavirenz, respectively. Grade 1 liver injuries were observed in 26 （57.8%）patients, grade 2 in 16 （35.6%）, grade 3 in 2 （4.0%） and grade 4 in 1 （2.2%）. Three （6.7%） patients discontinued highly active antiretroviral therapy （HAART） due to liver injury. In group 1, there were 29 （64.4%） patients co-infected with HBV and/or HCV, 32 （71.1%） patients received regimen containing nevirapine, and 30 （66.7%） patients had concomitant use of anti-tuberculosis drugs or cotrimoxazole, respectively, significantly higher than those in group 2 （11 （36.7%）, 14 （46.7%）and 12 （40%）, respectively; P=0.018, 0.033, 0.023, respectively）. 目的探讨雷珠单抗不同给药策略对糖尿病黄斑水肿(DME)视觉功能、中心凹视网膜厚度(FT)、角膜内皮细胞密度的影响。方法选取2020年6月至2022年6月郑州市第二人民医院眼科收治的60例DME患者作为研究对象,采用随机数表法分为常规组(30例39眼)和强化组(30例42眼),所有患者均予以玻璃体内注射雷珠单抗治疗,常规组患者予以3+按需治疗(PRN)给药方案,强化组予以5+PRN给药方案,两组患者均随访12个月观察疗效。比较两组患者PRN治疗期间患眼注射次数、补救性光凝次数,以及治疗3个月、6个月、9个月、12个月后的最佳矫正视力(BCVA)较基线提高字母数、黄斑中心凹厚度(FT)和治疗3个月、6个月、12个月后的角膜内皮细胞密度、六角形细胞比例、角膜神经变化,同时比较两组患者治疗期间的不良反应发生情况。结果强化组患者PRN治疗期间患眼注射次数、补救性光凝次数分别为(2.40±0.80)次、(1.12±0.30)次,明显少于常规组的(4.10±1.00)次、(1.97±0.64)次,差异均有统计学意义(P10个字母患眼占66.67%,明显多于常规组的43.59%,差异均有统计学意义(P0.05);两组患者治疗期间均未观察到不良反应发生。结论雷珠单抗3+PRN、5+PRN给药方案可安全治疗DME,且对角膜内皮细胞密度无明显影响,而在视觉功能、中心凹视网膜厚度、给药次数、药物经济性方面,5+PRN给药方案作用效果更优。

Influence of friction-lubrication characteristics varying with rolling speed on instability of chatter and slip in cold tandem rolling process

In the high-speed cold tandem rolling process of thin plate,chatter or slip instability gives rise to the deterioration of equipment and product quality.Macroscopic instability behavior is closely related to interfacial friction-lubrication con-dition which is generally characterized by the friction coefficient.However,with higher and higher speed requirements,the commonly used model of friction coefficient is no longer applicable and accurate.A novel approach is suggested to calculate the speed-dependent friction coefficient,in which the viscosity-pressure-temperature effects of the lubricant,surface roughness states of work rolls and rolled piece are comprehensively involved and the mixed flm lubrication theory is applied.Subsequently,the influences of friction coefficient on the instability of slip and chatter are investigated for a five-stand cold tandem rolling mill.On one side,the critical friction coefficient for each stand is determined by calculating the corresponding slip factor;on the other hand,the friction coefficient varying with rolling speed is combined with the model of theoretical critical rolling speed presented under constant friction coefficient,so that the speed threshold is determined.Furthermore,the stable and unstable regions corresponding to the rear three stands are individually discussed,and the technical strategies are proposed to suppress both slip and chatter frequently occurring in the actual rolling process.

Significantly Enhanced Melt Memory Effect of Metallocene-made Isotactic Polypropylene Containing Talc

The melt memory effect is a widely observed phenomenon in semi-crystalline polymers. In practical applications, various additives are usually introduced into polymers, which may affect their melt memory behavior. In this work, the effect of talc on the melt memory effect of metallocene-made isotactic polypropylene(M-PP) was investigated in detail by using the differential scanning calorimetry. The results indicated that the introduction of talc significantly strengthened the melt memory effect of M-PP. Specifically, the upper limit temperature of Domain II increased from 161 ℃ to 174 ℃, resulting in a substantial widening of the temperature range of Domain IIa from 1 ℃ to 14 ℃. Analysis of the crystal orientation of the M-PP containing talc cooled from various Ts suggested that the remarkably enhanced melt memory effect could be ascribed to the stabilization of oriented nuclei facilitated by talc. This stabilizing effect was likely attributable to the prefreezing effect or the sorption interaction between talc and the M-PP chains.

Thermal and mechanical behavior of casting copper alloy wheel during wheel and belt continuous casting process

To investigate the thermal and mechanical behavior of casting wheel,a two-dimensional thermoelastic-plastic finite element model was used to predict the temperature,stress and distortion distribution of the casting wheel during the wheel and belt continuous casting process.The effects of grinding thickness and casting speed on the thermal and mechanical behaviors of the center of the hot face of the casting wheel were discussed in detail.In each rotation,the casting wheel passes through four different spray zones.The results show that the temperature distribution of the casting wheel in different spray zones is similar,the temperature of the hot face is the highest and the temperature reaches the peak in the spray zoneⅢ.The stress and distortion depend on the temperature distribution,and the maximum stress and distortion of the hot face are 358.2 MPa and 1.82 mm,respectively.The temperature at the center of the hot face decreases with increasing grinding thickness and increases with increasing casting speed.

Trace elements in magmatic and hydrothermal quartz:Implications on the genesis of the Xingluokeng Tungsten Deposit,South China

The Xingluokeng deposit is the largest gran-ite-related tungsten deposit within the Wuyi metallogenic belt in South China.The Xingluokeng intrusion primarily consists of porphyritic biotite granite,biotite granite,andfine-grained granite.The deposit is represented by veinlet-disseminated mineralization with K-feldspathization and biotitization,alongside quartz-vein mineralization with gre-isenization and sericitization.This study investigates in-situ analyses of quartz compositions from both the intrusion and hydrothermal veinlets and veins.Trace element correlations indicate that trivalent Al^(3+)and Fe^(3+)replace Si^(4+)within the quartz lattice,with monovalent cations(such as Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))primarily serving as charge compensators.Low Ge/Al ratios(<0.013)of quartz from granites suggest a mag-matic origin.The low Al/Ti and Ge/Ti ratios,accompanied by high Ti contents in quartz,suggest that the porphyritic biotite granite and biotite granite are characterized by rela-tively low levels of differentiation and high crystallization temperatures.In contrast,thefine-grained granite exhibits a higher degree of fractionation,lower crystallization tem-peratures,and a closer association with tungsten miner-alization.Ti contents in quartz from quartz veins indicate Qz-Ⅰformed at temperatures above 400°C,while Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴformed at temperatures below 350°C.Variations in different generations of quartz,as indicated by Al content and(Al+Fe)/(Li+Na+K)ratio,suggest that Qz-Ⅰprecipi-tated from a less acidicfluid with a stable pH,whereas Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴoriginated from a more acidicfluid with notable pH variations.Consequently,alkaline alteration and acidic alteration supplied the essential Ca and Fe for the precipita-tion of scheelite and wolframite,respectively,highlighting a critical mechanism in tungsten mineralization at the Xin-gluokeng deposit.
