In the search of lead-free piezoelectric materials,ceramic processing techniques offer potential tools to increase the piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties in addition to new chemical *** of pure BNKT16(Bi0.5(Na0.84K0.16)0.5TiO3)phase were synthesized by sol–gel method with a low crystallization temperature(750℃).Ceramic samples were sintered by pressureless sintering(PLS),sinter-forging(SF),and spark plasma sintering(SPS)***,morphological,and chemical characterizations were performed by XRD,Raman,EDS,and *** samples by PLS and SF exhibit rod-like grains associated to bismuth *** highest remanent polarization(11.05μC/cm2),coercive field(26.2 kV/mm),and piezoelectric coefficient(165 pC/N)were obtained for SF *** piezoresponse force microscopy(PFM)analysis shows that the crystallites at the nanoscale exhibit piezoelectric phenomenon and the highest piezoelectric response is reported for PLS *** presence of the rhombohedral phase,the increase in grain and crystallite size,and the oriented rod-like inclusions favoring the crystallographic texture are facts that enhance the piezoelectric coefficient for BNKT16 piezoceramics.

The European rabbit Oryctolagus cuniculus is an exotic herbivorous mammal undergoing an active phase of geographical expansion in the arid ecosystems of *** Adaptive Flexibility Hypothesis states that populations at the range edge(new populations)will exhibit greater fexibility in the use of resources compared with populations located in the range core(older populations).The objective of this work was to compare the rabbit’s use of spatial and trophic resources in relation to the establishment time of their *** sampling was carried out for 2 years(2017 and 2018)in sites with different establishment times for rabbit *** sampling stratifed by type of habitat was applied using 115 fxed strip transects of 1,000 m^(2) laid out across the study *** rabbit signs were recorded in each transect,and environmental and anthropic variables were *** results show that the individuals from the range edge are more selective in the use of habitat than those from the range *** the microhabitat level,we observed a pattern in the particular components of habitat use by rabbits mainly linked to food availability and proximity to *** a trophic perspective,rabbits could show fexible adjustment to novel conditions and environments in the range *** variability in resource use by the European rabbit confrms its ecological fexibility,pivotal for their advance toward new environments in Argentina.

Tropospheric reactive bromine is important for atmospheric chemistry,regional air pollution,and global *** studies have reported measurements of atmospheric reactive bromine species in different environments,and proposed their main sources,***-salt aerosol（SSA）,oceanic biogenic activity,polar snow/ice,and *** and other strong cyclonic activities（***） induce abrupt changes in different earth system processes,causing widespread destructive ***,the role of typhoons in regulating reactive bromine abundance and sources remains ***,we report field observations of bromine oxide（BrO）,a critical indicator of reactive bromine,on the Huaniao Island（HNI）in the East China Sea in July *** observed high levels of BrO below 500 m with a daytime average of9.7±4.2 pptv and a peak value of ～26 pptv under the influence of a *** field measurements,supported by model simulations,suggest that the typhoon-induced drastic increase in wind speed amplifies the emission of SSA,significantly enhancing the activation of reactive bromine from SSA *** also detected enhanced BrO mixing ratios under high NOxconditions（ppbv level） suggesting a potential pollution-induced mechanism of bromine release from *** elevated levels of atmospheric bromine noticeably increase ozone destruction by as much as ～40% across the East China *** the high frequency of cyclonic activity in the northern hemisphere,reactive bromine chemistry is expected to play a more important role than previously thought in affecting coastal air quality and atmospheric oxidation *** suggest that models need to consider the hitherto overlooked typhoon-and pollution-mediated increase in reactive bromine levels when assessing the synergic effects of cyclonic activities on the earth system.

The application of stem cells is among the many strategies currently available for the treatment of multiple *** cells are characterized as undifferentiated cells that have the ability to differentiate towards multiple lineages and selfrenewal,among other *** the first umbilical cord stem cell transplant for the treatment of Fanconi anemia,the use of stem cells for the treatment of multiple diseases,including coronavirus disease 2019,has increased,showing promising results that require evaluation through research studies that include a longer follow-up ***,the main objective of this Letter is to provide an update on the use of stem cells in the treatment of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2,as well as identify the main challenges and limitations presented by this type of therapy.

This work is concerned with the time-fractional doubly parabolic Keller-Segel system in R^(N)(N≥1),and we derive some refined results on the large time behavior of solutions which are presupposed to enjoy some uniform boundedness ***,the well-posedness and the asymptotic stability of solutions in Marcinkiewicz spaces are *** results are achieved by means of an appropriate estimation of the system nonlinearity in the course of an analysis based on Duhamel-type representation formulae and the Kato-Fujita framework which consists in constructing a fixed-point argument by using a suitable time-dependent space.

ACIDIC FIBROBLAST gROWTH FACTOR REDUCES RAT SKELETAL MUSCLE DAMAgE CAUSED BY ISCHEMIA AND REPERFUSION

Acute interruption of arterial blood flow to the extremities is often associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Broad spectrum mitogenic and non mitogenic activities of FgFs inspired us to study its protecting effects on tissue injuries in ischemia reperfusion condition. We found that systemic administration of aFgF after reperfusion onset prevented severe skeletal muscle injuries. In rats treated with aKgF, the tissue edema was reduced significantly, the tissue viability was increased, and the muscle fibers contained more succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) and adenosine triphosphatasc (ATPase). The pathological results supported the concept of improved prevention with aFgF treatment. The possible tissue protection by aFgF may come from its ability to regulate the concentration of evtra- and intracellular calcium ion. Besides, it may moderate other Ca2+ dependent enzyme conversion processes. Also, it may take part in the vascular tone regulation under ischemia and reperfusion conditions. These results suggest further study of tissue ischemia prevention with FgF and its possible mechanisms in the future.
