Coupling Coordination Analysis of Cropland Intensification and Agroecosystem Services:Evidence from Loess Plateau in Shaanxi Province,China

One of the greatest challenges in the agroecosystem is to improve cropland intensification while preserving agroecosystem *** many studies have investigated the effect of cropland intensification on agroecosystem service,the interactive coupling and coordination among these factors remain largely *** view of this,this study performed a case study of the Loess Plateau in Shaanxi Province,China and constructed comprehensive evaluation models to quantify the cropland intensification and agroecosystem service in this *** analysis and the coupling coordination degree model were used to evaluate the interactive relationship between cropland intensification and agroecosystem service,and statistical analysis and spatial autocorrelation were used to analyze the spatial characteristics and potential mechanism of the coupling *** show that both the cropland intensification and agroecosystem service in the study area were relatively low yet gradually increased from 2.00 to *** service lag was identified as the dominant unbalanced development *** the supply capacity of agroecosystem services plays a key role in the balanced development of cropland in the Loess *** coupling coordination degree between cropland intensification and agroecosystem service ranges from basic coordination to serious ***,cropland intensification practices in the area should be optimized to enhance this coordination *** upward trend was also observed in the coupling coordination degree from2.00 to *** withdrawal of marginal cropland in the Grain for Green program is one of the most important reasons for this trend,especially for the northern *** 83.6%of the high-high clusters are concentrated in the southern region of the Loess Plateau,whereas 70.5%of the low-low clusters are distributed in the northern *** clustering characteristics are mainly attributed to the environmental

Cytokines including tumor necrosis factor, interleukins, interferons, and chemokines are abundantly produced in various diseases. As pleiotropic factors, cytokines are involved in nearly every aspect of cellular functions such as migration, survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Oligodendrocytes are the myelin-forming cells in the central nervous system and play critical roles in the conduction of action potentials, supply of metabolic components for axons, and other functions. Emerging evidence suggests that both oligodendrocytes and oligodendrocyte precursor cells are vulnerable to cytokines released under pathological conditions. This review mainly summarizes the effects of cytokines on oligodendrocyte lineage cells in central nervous system diseases. A comprehensive understanding of the effects of cytokines on oligodendrocyte lineage cells contributes to our understanding of central nervous system diseases and offers insights into treatment strategies.

Macro-microscopic dynamic characteristics of the ballast bed induced by the variation of moisture content

Due to the excellent drainage performance of the ballast,existing studies mainly focus on the dynamic response of ballast under field capacity or *** has rarely been paid to dynamic changes in moisture content and potential *** this article,we firstly conduct a model test to determine the variation of ballast moisture content under artificial *** that,a full-scale model test with cyclic loading is carried out to study the effect of moisture content variation on the macro-microscopic response of the ballast bed,where several wireless particle sensors are installed to obtain ballast motion characteristics at strategic *** results show that the moisture content increases gradually and stabilizes at a flat peak under rainfall,despite the excellent drainage performance of ballast *** halting rainfall,the moisture content drops back to field capacity,which indicates dynamic flowing surface water on ballast particles under *** flowing surface water brings changes to the original dynamic equilibrium of ballast bed:macroscopically,the deformation rate of stabilized ballast bed increases significantly,reaching a local peak under field capacity;microscopically,the x-and z-angular accelerations of the ballast show positive correlation with rainfall *** multiscale responses indicate that field capacity is a critical moisture content.

An integrated MINLP model for multi-party coordination in downstream oil supply chain

Cooperation among enterprises can bring overall and individual performance improvement,and a smooth coordination method is ***,due to the lack of customized coordination methods,cooperation in the downstream oil supply chain cannot be carried out *** paper intends to propose a multi-party coordination method to promote cooperation between oil shippers and pipeline operator by optimizing oil transportation,oil substitution and pipeline pricing *** integrated game-theoretic modeling and analysis approach is developed to characterize the operation behaviors of all stakeholders in the downstream oil supply *** proposed mixed integer nonlinear programming model constrains supply and demand capacity,transportation routes,oil substitution rules and pipeline freight *** transformation and price discretization are introduced for model linear *** experiments are carried out in the oil distribution system in South *** results show that compared to the business-as-usual scheme,the new scheme saves transportation cost by 3.48%,increases pipeline turnover by 5.7%,and reduces energy consumption and emissions by 7.66%and 6.77%.It is proved that the proposed method improves the revenue of the whole system,achieves fair revenue distribution,and also improves the energy and environmental benefits of the oil supply chain.

Three-dimensional(3D)phononic topological insulators(TIs)featuring two-dimensional(2.)surface states and one-dimensional(1D)hinge states have opened up a new route for multi-dimensional robust wave transport,providing unprecedented methods for integrated acoustic sensors and energy harvesting ***,aiming at the elastic 3D phononic TI with gapless surface states and hinge states,the realization of elastic 3D phononic TIs with gapless surface states and hinge states is a significant challenge due to the complicated multi-mode polarization of elastic waves in 3D *** this study,we demonstrate an elastic 3D phononic TI with a Dirac hierarchy by elaborately operating the corresponding spatial symmetries of the chiral honeycomb ***,a 3D double Dirac cone of elastic wave can be achieved by doubling the lattice along the outof-plane direction to fold two iso-frequency Weyl *** topological phase transitions and 2. gapless two-fold Dirac surface states of elastic wave are realized by breaking the half-lattice spatial translation ***,based on the Brillouin zone folding along the in-plane direction,the 2. gapless two-fold surface Dirac cones are folded into four-fold surface Dirac ***,by inducing the relative radius of adjacent holes to break the in-plane spatial inversion symmetry,the fourfold surface Dirac cones are gapped and associated with a surface state inversion,in which the gapless 1D hinge Dirac dispersion is *** research offers a route for engineering the hierarchies of TIs in 3D elastic wave systems and provides new possibilities for designing 3D ultrasonic devices with unconventional functions.

Convenient non-invasive flow monitoring would facilitate the operation and control in microfluidic chips,but is challenging due to the small space of microchannels and complex operation required in traditional optical *** this work,we propose a novel non-invasive strategy to probe microfluidic flows via streaming potential *** sealing one side of the microchannel with a piece of hydrogel film,streaming potential inside the channel can be clearly detected by electrodes at outer surface of the hydrogel due to ion diffusion in the *** is detected without sensors contacting with the internal ***,the electrodes shape like a tiny probe,which can move around mapping the flow distribution in a chip with the spatial resolution of 1 mm and flow rate detection limit of 3μL·min–*** inside the channels can also be detected,due to the fluctuation of streaming voltage when gas-liquid interface flows through the electrode,showing an easy and potential way for multi-functional flow monitoring in microfluidic chips.

Soluble sugar and organic acids are key determinants of fruit organoleptic quality and directly affect the commodity value and economic returns of fruit *** performed whole-genome sequencing of the apple varieties Gala and Xiahongrou,along with their F1 hybrids,to construct a high-density bin *** quantitative genetic analysis pinpointed 53 quantitative trait loci(QTLs)related to 11 sugar and acid *** identified a candidate gene,MdNADP-ME,responsible for malate degradation,in a stable QTL on linkage group *** analysis revealed an A/C SNP in the promoter region(MEp-799)that influences binding of the MdMYB2.transcription factor,thereby affecting MdNADP-ME *** our study of various apple genotypes,this SNP has been demonstrated to be linked to malate and fructose *** also developed a dCAPS marker associated with fruit fructose *** results substantiate the role of MdNADP-ME in maintaining the equilibrium between sugar and acid contents in apple fruits.

Mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor amplification correlates with adverse pathological features and poor clinical outcome in colorectal cancer

Comparison of prognosis and postoperative morbidities between standard pancreaticoduodenectomy and the TRIANGLE technique for resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

BACKGROUND Radical surgery combined with systemic chemotherapy offers the possibility of long-term survival or even cure for patients with pancreatic ductal adenocar-cinoma(PDAC),although tumor recurrence,especially locally,still inhibits the treatment *** TRIANGLE technique was introduced as an extended dissection procedure to improve the R0 resection rate of borderline resectable or locally advanced ***,there was a lack of studies concerning postoperative complications and long-term outcomes of this procedure on patients with resectable *** Patients with resectable PDAC eligible for PD from our hospital between June 2.18 and December 2.2. were enrolled in this retrospective cohort *** the patients were divided into PDstandard and PDTRIANGLE groups according to the surgical *** characteristics,surgical data,and postoperative morbidities were *** of the patients were followed up,and the date and location of tumor recurrence,and death were *** Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test were used for the survival *** There were 93 patients included in the study and 37 underwent the TRIANGLE *** of operation was longer in the PDTRIANGLE group compared with the PDstandard group[440(410-480)min vs 32.(2.5-42.)min](P=0.001).Intraoperative blood loss[700(500-12.0)mL vs 500(300-800)mL](P=0.009)and blood transfusion[975(0-12.0)mL vs 400(0-800)mL](P=0.009)were higher in the PDTRIANGLE *** was a higher incidence of surgical site infection(43.2.vs 12.5%)(P=0.001)and postoperative diarrhea(54.1%vs 12.5%)(P=0.001)in the PDTRIANGLE *** rates of R0 resection and local recurrence,overall survival,and disease-free survival did not differ significantly between the two *** The TRIANGLE technique is safe,with acceptable postoperative morbidities compared with standardized PD,but it does not improve prognosis for patients with resectable PDAC.
