Even f.r a 100 nm interparticle distance or a small change in particle shape,optical f.no-like plasmonic resonance mode usually vanishes *** would be remarkable if.stable f.no-like resonance could somehow be achieved in distinctly shaped nanoparticles f.r more than 1μm interparticle distance,which corresponds to the f.r electromagnetic f.eld *** such f.r-f.eld f.no-like plasmonic resonance can be achieved,controlling the reversal of.the f.r-f.eld binding f.rce can be attained,like the currently reported reversals f.r near-f.eld *** this work,we have proposed an optical set-up to achieve such a robust and stable f.no-like plasmonic resonance,and comparatively studied its remarkable impact on controlling the reversal of.near-and f.r-f.eld optical binding *** our proposed set-up,the distinctly shaped plasmonic tetramers are half.immersed(***-benzene)in an inhomogeneous dielectric interf.ce and illuminated by?circular?polarized *** have demonstrated signif.cant dif.erences between near-and f.r-f.eld optical binding f.rces along with the Lorentz f.rce f.eld,which partially depends on the object’s shape.A clear connection is shown between the f.r-f.eld binding f.rce and the resonant modes,along with a generic mechanism to achieve controllable f.no-like plasmonic resonance and the reversal of.the optical binding f.rce in both f.r-and near-f.eld conf.gurations.

The tunneling ionization (TI) is the most dominated ionization process in the production of.terahertz radiation by two f.mtosecond lasers, although its validity above the ionization threshold of.some gases is uncertain. In the present research, we employ a 1D f.uid code to simulate the ef.iciency of.the produced terahertz radiation by two f.mtosecond laser beams in air plasma. Two ionization models in the context of.the TI process which are the Ammosov-Delone-Krainov (ADK) f.r noble gases and its developed molecular ADK (MO-ADK) model f.r molecular gases are intrinsically used to conduct this study. The main target of.the present research is to examine the validity of.these models Above-Threshold-Ionization (ATI) of.these gases. f.r this purpose, we simulated the ionization rate and the power spectrum of.the produced radiation, in addition we numerically evaluated the ef.iciency of.the produced radiation as f.nction of.the input beams intensity at particular energy f.action f.ctor, relative phase and initial pulse duration of.these beams. These calculations conducted f.r a selected noble gas at varying energy levels and a chosen molecular air plasma gas at dif.erent quantum numbers. Numerical results near and above the ionization threshold of.the selected gases have clarif.ed that the ADK and MO-ADK model are successf.l valid to study the ef.iciency of.the produced THz radiation at low energy levels and small quantum numbers of.the selected gases, meanwhile, with any f.rther increase in the energy level and the quantum number values of.these gases, both of.the ADK and MO-ADK are f.iled to correctly analyze the ef.iciency process and estimate its f.ndamental parameters.

In the present study,gel f.rmulations of.organogels,hydrogels,and oleo-hydrogel(bigels)were evaluated as transdermal drug delivery systems f.r diltiazem HCL(DH).Organogels were prepared using soya-bean oil(SO)as a solvent and span 60(Sp 60),cetyl alcohol(CA)or lecithinpluronic(PLO)as organogelators without and with dif.erent surf.ctants(2%w/w)namely span 80(Sp80),tween 20(T20)and tween 80(T80).On the other hand,hydrogels were f.rmulated using Hydroxypropyl-methylcellulose(HPMC)polymer and bigels were prepared by mixing organogels with HPMC *** prepared gels were analyzed microscopically,thermally by DTA and f.r pH,and *** ef.ect of.gelator used,surf.ctant types and pH of.the sink on DH release f.om cellophane membrane was *** addition,the DH permeability across the rabbit skin was ***,the in vivo perf.rmance of.various gel f.rmulationswas assessed based on the hypotensive ef.ects of.the drug using hypertensive albino male rat *** microscopical analysis indicated that the solid f.bers f.rmed by gelator particles f.rm the backbone of.the organogels while bigels appeared as emulsion *** addition of.surf.ctants showed an increase in organogel *** thermal analysis of.organogels indicated that the drug present in amorphous not in crystalline *** release studies indicated that DH release f.om organogels,hydrogels and bigels could be *** included surf.ctants decreased the DH release and permeation f.om organogels compared to those without surf.ctants using either Sp60 or *** hydrogel and Bigels showed higher DH release and permeation rates when compared to *** percent DH released in dif.erent pH values was in the f.llowing descending order:pH5.5>pH1.2>pH6.8>*** in vivo antihypertensive activity of.DH using dif.erent transdermal gels is arranged as f.llowing:hydrogels>PLO organogel>bigel>Sp 60 organogel.

Endothelial cell death due to increased reactive oxygen species(ROS) may contribute to the initial endothelial injury,which promotes atherosclerotic lesion *** sarmentosum(PS),a natural product,has been shown to have an antioxidant property,which is hypothesized to inhibit production of.ROS and prevent cell ***,the present study was designed to determine the ef.ects of.PS on the hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)-induced oxidative cell damage in cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs).In this experiment,HUVECs were obtained by collagenase perf.sion of.the large vein in the umbilical cord and cultured in medium M200 supplemented with low serum growth supplementation(LSGS).HUVECs were treated with various concentrations of.H2O2(0-1000 μmol/L) and it was observed that 180 μmol/L H2O2 reduced cell viability by 50% as denoted by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) *** the above concentration as the positive control,the H2O2-induced HUVECs were concomitantly treated with various concentrations(100,150,250 and 300 μg/ml) of.three dif.erent extracts(aqueous,methanol and hexane) of.***(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT) and glutathione peroxidase(GPX) levels showed a signif.cant increase(Pf.ect on HUVECs f.om H2O2-induced cell apoptosis with a signif.cant reduction in MDA,SOD,CAT and GPX levels(Pf.rthermore,PS had exhibited f.rric reducing antioxidant power with its high phenolic ***,it was concluded that PS plays a benef.cial role in reducing oxidative stress in H2O2-induced HUVECs.

鸡粪厌氧发酵产沼气中H2S含量高,在发电或提纯制备生物燃气前需要对其进行去除.开展批次鸡粪发酵试验,向发酵瓶中通入微量空气,通过生物氧化作用去除H2S.试验以连续稳定运行90d的中温厌氧罐出料为接种污泥,通入7~50mL/gVS的空气.结果表明,空气通入显著地降低了沼气中的H2S浓度,空气通入量为30mL/gVS的实验组平均脱硫效率最高,达到62%.同时,该空气通入条件下累积甲烷产量达到335mL/gVS,相较于空白累积甲烷产量提升了78.6%.通入微量空气的生物脱硫方法具有工艺简单和高效脱除H2S的应用前景.

We apply a f.urier pseudospectral algorithm to solve a 2D nonlinear paraxial envelope-equation of.laser interactions in plasmas. In this algorithm, we f.rst use the second order Strang time-splitting method to split the envelope-equation into a number of.equations, next we spatially discrete the f.led quantity and its spatial derivatives in these equations in term of.f.urier interpolation polynomials (f.T), f.nally we sequentially integrate the resultant equations by means of.a discrete integration method in order to obtain the solution of.the envelope-equation. We carry out several numerical tests to illustrate the ef.iciency and to determine accuracy of.the algorithm. In addition, we conduct a number of.numerical experiments to examine its perf.rmance. The numerical results have shown that the algorithm is highly ef.icient and suf.iciently accurate to solve the 2D envelope-equation, f.rthermore, it yields an optimal perf.rmance in simulating f.ndamental phenomena in laser interactions in plasmas.

A selective, sensitive, and convenient assay f.r human collagenase is required because of.its implication in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and tumors. Here, a novel assay f.r human collagenase activity is described in which enzymatic degradation of.native collagen or acetyl peptide is determined by using a f.uorogenic reaction f.r oligopeptides. The oligopeptides are quantif.ed spectrof.uorometrically with either 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid or 1,2-dihydroxybenzen reaction in the presence of.sodium periodate and sodium borate (pH 7 - 8). These reactions can selectively convert N-terminal Gly-containing oligopeptides and N-terminal Ile-containing oligopeptides to f.uorescence (f.) compounds, respectively, but not proteins, acetyl peptides or amino acids. Under optimized conditions using 1.65 μM collagen IV or 1.5 mM Ac-GPQGI- AGQ as substrates, this assay exhibits a proportional relationship between f. intensities and human collagenase-3 (MMP-13) concentrations. It can assay endogenous collagenase activities in several biological samples, such as cultured human cells and cheek tissue.
