Evaluation of Impact of Life-planning Skills Training among Senior High School Students in Shangcai County

Objective To evaluate the impact of sex and reproductive health education using lifeplanning skills training among senior high school students in a rural county. Methods The study was conducted in three senior high schools of Shangcai County with comparable socio-cultural, economic, and demographic characteristics, two as intervention sites and one as the control. A three-month life-planning skills training course was conducted among all grade one students in the intervention schools. The baseline survey was conducted prior to the intervention, once again three months after the intervention was initiated. Data were collected through questionnaires, FGDs and 1Dis to evaluate the effect of the intervention program. Results After the intervention, the median score of reproductive health knowledge was higher in the intervention group （55.66） than that in control group （38.68）. Students from the intervention group were also more comfortable with their developmental changes which were going through, In the end line survey, 92.70% of the students in the intervention group suggested that reproductive health education should be carried out among all middle school students in Shangcai County. Multivariate analysis also indicated that peers and family had a significant effect on students＇ sex-related knowledge, attitudes and behaviors. Conclusion Sex and reproductive health education via provision of life-planning skills training can significantly increase students＇ sex and reproductive health knowl- edge and was welcomed by students, teachers and parents.

A novel asymmetric[4+2]cycloaddition of 2-methylidenetrimethylene carbonate with pyrrolidonederived enones has been achieved to produce the functionalized tetrahydropyran-fused spirocyclic scaffolds via *** array of enantioenriched spiro-pyrrolidine-2,3-diones bearing adjacent quaternary and tertiary stereocenters are obtained in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities(up to 96% yield and 99% ee).The further transformation of the product has been accomplished for the construction of medical interesting β^(2,2)-amino acids and β-*** mechanistic research was well conducted.

Effect of short-time low-temperature austenitizing on microstructure and mechanical properties of DT300 ultra-high strength steel fabricated by laser powder bed fusion

To address the inhomogeneous microstructure and improve the mechanical properties of DT300 ultra-high strength steel specimens fabricated by laser powder bed fusion,different post-heat treatment schedules are *** the increase in austenitizing temperature and time,the migration rate of austenite grain boundaries continuously increases with the dissolution of nano-carbides,and the formation of nano-oxides and twin martensite is also inhibited *** rapid growth in the size of prior austenite grains and martensite laths,as well as the decrease in the content of nano-oxides and twin martensite,led to a rapid decrease in the strength(yield strength and ultimate tensile strength)from HT2 to HTF *** HT1 specimens(austenitizing at 830℃for 30 min,then oil quenching and tempering at 300℃for 120 min and finally air cooling)display excellent mechanical properties of yield strength of 1572 MPa,ultimate tensile strength of 1847 MPa,elongation of 9.84%,and fracture toughness of 106 MPa m^(1/2),which are counterparts to those of conventional DT300 steel forgings after heat treatment.

The significance of resource recycling for coking wastewater treatment:based on environmental and economic life cycle assessment

The sustainability of the coking industry is supported by reasonable production profit and environmental quality *** traditional measures substantially increased the related costs for enterprises to reach *** paper aims to develop a comprehensive cost combined environmental impact assessment method that is necessary for the analysis of wastewater treatment *** three coking wastewater treatment processes in China were *** showed that eutrophication dominantly contributed to the overall environmental *** effluent quality could significantly reduce the total environmental *** terms of an economic perspective,the price of raw materials was the main factor that affected the operating cost of comprehensive *** on subsystem analysis,the pretreatment stage accounted for the majority of environmental and cost burdens,respectively reaching 64%-78%and 64%-86%.Optimizing the pretreatment process by enhancing the efficiency of high concentration raw material recovery and substituting toxic raw materials for extractant could reduce the environmental impact and economic cost by 43.8%and 57%,respectively,which was an effective way to improve the potential performance of coking wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).

In this paper,a novel superjunction 4H-silicon carbide(4H-SiC)trench-gate insulated-gate bipolar transistor(IGBT)featuring an integrated clamping PN diode between the P-shield and emitter(TSD-IGBT)is designed and theoretically *** heavily doping superjunction layer contributes to a low specific on-resistance,excellent electric field distribution,and quasi-unipolar drift *** anode of the clamping diode is in floating contact with the *** the on-state,the potential of the P-shield is raised to the turn-on voltage of the clamping diode,which prevents the hole extraction below the N-type carrier storage layer(NCSL).Additionally,during the turn-off transient,once the clamping diode is turned on,it also promotes an additional hole extraction ***,the potential dropped at the semiconductor near the trench-gate oxide is effectively reduced in the off-state.

In this paper,a novel trench gate gallium nitride(GaN)insulated gate bipolar transistor(GaN IGBT),in which the collector is divided into multiple regions to control the hole injection efficiency,is designed and theoretically *** incorporation of a P+/P-multi-region alternating structure in the collector region mitigates hole injection within the collector *** the device is in forward conduction,the conductivity modulation effect results in a reduced storage of carriers in the drift *** a result,the number of carriers requiring extraction during device turn-off is minimized,leading to a faster turn-off *** results illustrate that the GaN IGBT with controlled hole injection efficiency(CEH GaN IGBT)exhibits markedly enhanced performance compared to conventional GaN IGBT,showing a remarkable 42.2%reduction in turn-off time and a notable 28.5%decrease in turn-off loss.

Research on a Monte Carlo global variance reduction method based on an automatic importance sampling method

Global variance reduction is a bottleneck in Monte Carlo shielding *** global variance reduction problem requires that the statistical error of the entire space is *** study proposed a grid-AIS method for the global variance reduction problem based on the AIS method,which was implemented in the Monte Carlo program *** proposed method was validated using the VENUS-Ⅲ international benchmark problem and a self-shielding calculation *** results from the VENUS-Ⅲ benchmark problem showed that the grid-AIS method achieved a significant reduction in the variance of the statistical errors of the MESH grids,decreasing from 1.08×10^(-2) to 3.84×10^(-3),representing a 64.00% *** demonstrates that the grid-AIS method is effective in addressing global *** results of the selfshielding calculation demonstrate that the grid-AIS method produced accurate computational ***,the grid-AIS method exhibited a computational efficiency approximately one order of magnitude higher than that of the AIS method and approximately two orders of magnitude higher than that of the conventional Monte Carlo method.

Streptomyces offer a wealth of naturally occurring compounds with diverse structures,many of which possess significant pharmaceutical ***,new product exploration and increased yield of specific compounds in Streptomyces have been technically challenging due to their slow growth rate,complex culture conditions and intricate genetic *** this study,we screened dozens of Streptomyces strains inhabiting in a plant rhizosphere for fast-growing candidates,and further employed CRISPR/Cas-based engineering techniques for stepwise refinement of a particular strain,Streptomyces sp.A-14 that harbors a 7.47 Mb *** strategic removal of nonessential genomic regions and most gene clusters,we reduced its genome size to 6.13 Mb,while preserving its growth rate to the greatest *** further demonstrated that cleaner metabolic background of this engineered strain was well suited for the expression and characterization of heterologous gene clusters,including the biosynthetic pathways of actinorhodin and polycyclic tetramate ***,this streamlined genome is anticipated to facilitate directing the metabolic flux towards the production of desired compounds and increasing their yields.

Miniaturization and flexibility are becoming the trend in the development of electronic products. These key features are driving new methods in the manufacturing of such products. Printed electronics technology is a novel additive manufacturing technique that uses active inks to print onto a diverse set of substrates, realizing large-area, low-cost, flexible and green manufacturing of electronic products. These advantageous properties make it extremely compatible with flexible electronics fabrication and extend as far as offering revolutionary methods in the production of flexible electronic devices. In this paper, the details of a printing process system are introduced, including the materials that can be employed as inks, common substrates, and the most recently reported printing strategies. An assessment of future setbacks and developments of printed flexible electronics is also presented.
