To close.this knowle.ge.gap, we.asse.se. how AWD influe.ce. grain yie.d, fluxe. and annual budge.s of CH4 and N20 e.issions, and global warming pote.tial （GWP） in Italian rice.syste.s ove. a 2-ye.r pe.iod. Ove.all, a large. GWP was obse.ve. unde. AWD, as a re.ult of high N20 e.issions which offse. re.uctions in CH4 e.issions. In the.first ye.r, with 70% wate. re.uction, the.yie.ds we.e.re.uce. by 33%, CH4 e.issions de.re.se. by 97%, while.N20 e.issions incre.se. by more.than 5-fold unde.
