Among the harmful occupational factors,noise is the most common exposure in the oil industrial *** present study aimed to prioritize sound pollution areas in central processing facilities(CPF)of an oil field in order to provide corrective action in the studied industry and similar *** reviewing the issued permit to work,job description and noise dosimetry test,the evaluated areas were selected then sound pressure levels in the referenced areas investigated according to ISO 9612–2009(E)next the noise map prepared for all selected *** identifying the prioritized areas to implement the control measures NCPI was *** identifying the first priority area with sound pressure levels greater than 85 dB,the frequency analysis was performed and Isosonic map was prepared by Surfer v10 and AutoCAD *** the last step,in order to provide appropriate corrective action plan,the compatibility of the determined control actions with the production process was *** findings of this study indicates that 74%of the aforesaid area has the first priority to perform control measures in the caution zone and the remaining 26%is in the danger *** this study it has been demonstrated that implementing control measures for Zone 2 have first *** main source of the noise in this zone is fluid(Gas)flow through the piping and HP Gas *** results of this study shows that using effective factors such as exposure time,sound pressure level and number of exposed persons,can be present suitable model to prioritize noise control.

Evaluation of the Relation between Cognitive Science and Embodied Cognition

This article delves into the intricate relationship between cognitive science and embodied cognition, offering transformative philosophical insights with profound implications for our understanding of the mind-body connection. In response to the journal’s feedback, we have enhanced the abstract to provide a more comprehensive overview of our study. Background: We trace the historical evolution of ideas, from the inception of cognitive science rooted in analytic philosophy to the groundbreaking contributions of Rodney Brooks and others in the field of artificial intelligence. We also explore the work of scholars such as Agre, Chapman, and Dreyfus, shedding light on the role of cognitive metaphor and the concept of the cognitive unconscious in shaping our understanding of embodied cognition. Purpose: Our study aims to shed light on the central theme that unites these various strands of thought—the rejection of the traditional, transcendental view of the subject in favor of the concept of an embodied subject. This embodied subject actively engages with its environment, shaping consciousness and cognition. This shift in perspective challenges classical epistemological theories and opens new avenues for inquiry. Method: We have conducted a comprehensive literature review to explore the historical development and key concepts in the field of embodied cognition, with a particular focus on the philosophical underpinnings and their integration into cognitive science. Results: Our examination of embodied cognition reveals that the mind is intimately connected to the body, with cognition emerging through interactions with the environment and perceptual experiences. This perspective challenges reductionist notions and demonstrates that mental states cannot be reduced to brain states alone. We also explore the relationship between functionalism and computational states of the brain, illustrating that mental states can be understood in the context of mathematical functions. Concl

Predicting early outcomes of liver transplantation in young children: The EARLY study

AIM To determine potentially modifiable predictors of early outcomes after liver transplantation in children of age all consecutive children of age less than 3-years-old having had a liver transplant done at the Western Canadian referral center from June 2005 to June ***-specified potential predictor variables and primary and secondary outcomes were recorded using standard definitions and a case report form. Associations between potential predictor variables and outcomes were determined using univariate and multiple logistic [odds ratio(OR); 95%CI] or linear(effect size, ES; 95%CI) regressions. RESULTS There were 65 children, of mean age 11.9(SD 7.1) mo and weight 8.5(2.1) kg, with biliary-atresia in 40(62%), who had a living related donor [LRD; 29(45%)], split/reduced [21(32%)] or whole liver graft [15(23%)]. Outcomes after liver transplant included: ventilator-days of 12.5(14.1); pediatric intensive care unit mortality of 5(8%); re-operation in 33(51%), hepatic artery thrombosis(HAT) in 12(19%), portal vein thrombosis(PVT) in 11(17%), and any severe complication(HAT, PVT, bile leak, bowel perforation, intraabdominal infection, retransplant, or death) in 32(49%) patients. Predictors of the prespecified primary outcomes on multiple regression were:(1) HAT: split/reduced(OR 0.06; 0.01, 0.76; P = 0.030) or LRD(OR 0.16; 0.03, 0.95; P = 0.044) vs whole liver graft; and(2) ventilator-days: surgeon(P < 0.05), lowest antithrombin(AT) postoperative day 2-5(ES-0.24;-0.47,-0.02; P = 0.034), and split/reduced(ES-12.5;-21.8,-3.2; P = 0.009) vs whole-liver graft. Predictors of the pre-specified secondary outcomes on multiple regression were:(1) any thrombosis: LRD(OR 0.10; 0.01, 0.71; P = 0.021) or split/reduced(OR 0.10; 0.01, 0.85; P = 0.034) vs whole liver graft, and lowest AT postoperative day 2-5(OR 0.93; 0.87, 0.99; P = 0.038); and(2) any severe complication: surgeon(P < 0.05), lowest AT postoperat

Objective Accumulation of estrogenic compounds and other carcinogens in normal breast tissues contributes to unpredictable breast cancer incidence during adolescence and throughout *** assess the role of parabens in this phenomenon,the paraben content of adjacent normal-malignant breast tissues is measured in women with breast cancer living in Isfahan Province,*** Adjacent normal-malignant breast tissue samples were obtained from 53 *** parabens including methyl-paraben(Me PB),ethyl-paraben(Et PB),propyl-paraben(Pr PB),and butylparaben(Bu PB)were extracted from the sample supernatant and then subjected to gas chromatography *** Some risk factors for breast cancer were stimulated by parabens in adjacent malignant-normal breast tissues among young and middle-aged women with breast *** observed a significant association for dose-response pattern of Me PB[OR=98.34(11.43–185.2),P=0.027]for both ER+and PR+women and Me PB[OR=164.3(CI:112.3–216.3),P<0.001]for HER2+women than women with negative *** risk of 95-fold increase in Me PB dose and 164-fold increase in∑PBs dose were significant for women with hereditary breast cancer in first-degree *** These results may promote future epidemiology studies and strategies to improve women's lifestyle and consume paraben-free products.

Objective:To study the role of Quercetin in streptozotocin-induced diabetes in ***:Wistar male rat(n=40) were allocated into three groups,control group(n=10) and Quercetin(QR) group received 15 mg/kg(IP) QR.(n=10),and diabetic group that received 55 mg/kg(IP)streptozotocin(STZ)(n=20) which was subdivided to two groups of 10;STZ group and treatment *** group received 55mg/kg(IP) STZ plus 15 nig/kg QR,daily lor 4 weeks,respectively:however,the control group just received an equal volume of distilled water dailv(IP).Diabetes was induced by a single(IP) injection of streptozotocin(55 mg/kg).Animal-were kept in standard ***-eight days after inducing diabetic,5 mL blood were collected for TAC,MPA and Ox-LDL levels and liver tissues of rat in whole groups were removed then prepared for apoptosis analysis by Tunel ***:Apoptotic cells significantly decreased in group that has received 15 mg/kg(IP) Quercetin(Pal groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Since in our study 15 nig/kg(IP) Quercetin have significantly Preventive ellecl on liver cells damages by reducing number of apoptotic cells in Liver,so it seems that using it can be effective for treatment in diabetic rat.

Transmission over Cognitive Radio Channel with Novel Secure LT Code

With the increasing of communication applications in recent years, the demand for radio spectral resources has increased significantly. Cognitive radio scenario was proposed to improve spectrum efficiency in wireless communication systems. In cognitive radio network, it is essential that control information is sent securely and reliably. Ensuring the trustworthiness of the transmitting of spectrum sensing information is important in the CR networks since spectrum sensing directly affects spectrum management and incumbent coexistence. In this paper, the first secondary link channel model is presented, then a secure LT Code is proposed to be compatible with presented channel model and acquires good QoS. As we may know, LT code overcomes packet loss when the channel of the SU is reclaimed by PU. In the new proposed combined encoding and ciphered block, a LT code matrix is used to generate a symmetric cryptographic key. Thus, less complexity observed in the processing computation. Besides, cryptographic key is not sent over the channel. As a result, an attacker has no way to eavesdrop the key unless he is prepared to consider all possible key combinations. This replaced block supplies secure controlling channel and increases spectrum efficiency too.

The relationship between serum zinc levels and rheumatoid arthritis activity

OBJECTIVES： Rheumatoid arthritis （RA） is one of the most prevalent chronic autoimmune diseases; it typically involves the hands, wrists, ankles, and eventually all joints. Some studies have reported that zinc serum levels are lower in patients with RA than in healthy individuals. MATERIalS and METHODS： Seventy-nine patients with RAwere selected. The patients were all less than 75 years old and were diagnosed by a rheumatologist. Serum zinc levels were measured using the flame photometry method with a blood sample of 5 mL. The relationship between the average serum zinc level and disease activity was analyzed based on the DAS28 scoring scale for different RA groups. The significance threshold was set atp 〈 0.05. Data analyses were implemented in SPSS 22.0. RESULTS： There was a significant inverse relationship between the serum zinc levels and disease activity. Chi-square tests were used to compare zinc serum levels with respect to disease activity. There were significant differences in zinc levels among three groups of patients with different levels of disease severity, such that disease activity increased as the serum zinc level decreased （p 〈 0.001）. CONCLUSION： There was a significant inverse relationship between the serum zinc level and RA activity based on the DAS28 score. Therefore, it is recommended that mineral deficiencies should be addressed by optimizing the zinc supply along with other standard medications in order to reduce RA activity.

Tissue engineering is a multidisciplinary field that applies the principles of engineering and life-sciencesfor regeneration of damaged tissues. Stem cells have attracted much interest in tissue engineering as a cell source due to their ability to proliferate in an undifferentiated state for prolonged time and capability of differentiating to different cell types after induction. Scaffolds play an important role in tissue engineering as a substrate that can mimic the native extracellular matrix and the properties of scaffolds have been shown to affect the cell behavior such as the cell attachment, proliferation and differentiation. Here, we focus on the recent reports that investigated the various aspects of scaffolds including the materials used for scaffold fabrication, surface modification of scaffolds, topography and mechanical properties of scaffolds towards stem cells differentiation effect. We will present a more detailed overview on the effect of mechanical properties of scaffolds on stem cells fate.

Configuration Optimization of Cables in Ductbank Based on Their Ampacity

Electrical power companies are using more underground cables rather than overhead lines to distribute power to their customers. In practice, cables are generally installed in some compact ductbanks. Since the cost of underground cables is very expensive, using the entire space of a ductbank is extremely important. But such usage is limited due to the overheating of cables. Overheating is generally caused by overload, which means the carrying current exceeds the ampacity of a cable. The ampacity of a cable depends on not only the material and design of a cable but also the distance between different cables. Thus the configuration of cables determines the total ampacity value and the potential use of a ductbank. In this paper, the best configuration based on ampacity is achieved for a three-row, five-column ductbank that is buried at a depth of one meter below the earth’s surface. Both balanced and unbalanced scenarios are considered, and all cables have two available types to be selected.
